DLM Without doubt DLM offers a fine selection of treats and baked goods. Following a delightful lunch at a Thai restaurant, my wife is in NEED of dessert. She is serious as she googles for bakeries "near me."She is like a child at a candy counter at DLM bakery, and I have determined this is the Best way to treat her to dessert. Bakery counter is often very busy, and DLM has 3-4 clerks on duty.

We love Dorothy Lane Market. It's the best market in the Dayton area!We browsed a bit but didn't need much. Still we bought a couple bottles of wine we like, some dolamads, and a package of Killer Brownies! Yup, they are that good!I'm sure we will be back. It's a great market!

A high-end market with an especially large and diverse deli and bakery section. Really, the bakery is astonishing--this is the first place in the US that I have seen carry British Bakewell Tarts, and they are delicious! I was also there for the cheese counter. It is quite large with a diverse selection, but I had hoped for more local cheeses. Their house made mozzarella is excellent. I was also pleased by the selection of jams and crackers to accompany cheeses. My husband found a couple singles of local beers to try, too.

This is a nice little store with a good selection of high-quality products. A hidden gem tucked away in one corner is their little Napoli style pizza. The edge crust is flavorful and crispy, and I love the ultra thin crust so I enjoy a pizza without all the carbs.

I could spend a fortune in here ... well i do spend a fortune in here. They have such a great selection and they most helpful friendly staff. I go in for an item and come put with a cart full. Everything is bettwr here... the produce .. meat.. deli.. wine and beer .. ice cream.. sauces.. spices.. cheese..dips.. salad bar. Everything but the price. They do have a free savings card that recommend you doing.

It's our first stop at any Dorothy Lane Market as being fairly new to the area.We kept on hearing from coworkers and locals just how great it was and they suggested we pay a visit.I must say that based on visits to this location today our first impressions and impressions throughout the location were extremely positive.First, everything in the store appeared to be full, fresh, appealing and enticing. The amount of folks working within was mind blowing and everyone we encountered asked us if they could help us even before we had a chance to make eye contact. Which was awesome.For a store with a small type footprint they pack a ton in there. I thought it was interesting you could get anything in the fresh meat and seafood case cooked to order. Someone was getting some steaks prepared and it smelled wonderful.I won't say this will be an everyday stop for us. But, we certainly were impressed.And left with a small hand basket of dairy and cheeses along with some bakery items.Next time I'm going to make some choices in produce and meats.

From the moment you walk into DLM, you realize just how special and valued these three stores are to our community! It's extremely rare in modern times to find this exemplary level of customer service! They take product quality and placement seriously! I've never been to a grocery store that makes their customers feel posh before! If you need a high quality specialty item, this is your store. I've even met most of my best friends from wine and food events at DLM!

They are taking this virus seriously. They limit total number of people in the store, and limit to one person per family checking at the door when they hand you a freshly cleaned cart. Someone at the exit as well, counting those going out to ensure limits are met.Inside the door, deli items are now pre packaged. I'll have a small (or medium or large) chicken salad. So easy and quick. Pre cooked items are also pre packaged. It just feels like fewer hands on the items. Selection is top of the line as usual here. It was comforting buying all my indulgences!Cashiers are behind sneeze guards now. And everyone so helpful as usual here. I even let them take my bags to the car, and the young girl seemed delighted to get out in the sun. So many hero's in these scary times.This is the polar opposite from Walmart. And so worth the price on any given day, but especially on this day. Stay safe ya'all. We're doing our best.

Dorothy Lane is a destination, not just a quick shopping trip! If you are coming here I recommend setting some time aside to really enjoy looking around! They focus on high quality, unique, healthy, and the environment. I had been to another location before, but wanted to see how this one compared and check out the "Baconfest" they were currently holding. This year they are doing it a little different for safety, so it's almost like a fun scavenger hunt. At the door there was a list of all the bacon specials and what departments you would find them in. I started out at the coffee bar which is just inside the front door, to order a bacon maple latte made with their housemade bacon simple syrup. There was another gentlemen ordering it at the same time as me and when we both tasted the finished product, "wow" echoed all around. It was not too sweet, or too smoky, and the high quality espresso really came through. Honestly the best latte I've ever had. They offer a convenient cup holder for your cart if you'd like to enjoy while shopping. They also have coffee grounds available for free if you need some for your compost pile! If you continue on to the right you venture into the bakery, and the prepared foods delis. I cannot even begin to tell you the huge and unique selection of items they have, you will just have to come see for yourself. I snagged some seasonal paczki, mini king cake, and apricot breakfast bars (one of my faves here). Next up is the produce section with the freshest items you've ever seen short of being at a farmstand. They have housemade salsas, stuffed mushrooms and so much more. They used to have a sensational salad bar but have pivoted to having all of that pre packaged, which honestly still looked as yummy. In the prepared foods section I snagged some bacon dip and bacon sushi. The sushi is handmade right before your eyes. On this day I skipped the build your own brick oven pizza, the meat store with live grilling available, and went right for the cheese. Even the regular grocery sections of this store have unique items not seen other places. Other special sections include wine, beer, and the most gorgeous florist. Oooh look, bacon salsa (its life changing). But wait don't forget the bourbon bacon covered in dark chocolate. ALL MADE RIGHT IN STORE.Ok so make sure to join their free rewards program, otherwise you will not get the sale prices. Prices are a little high, but for a treat, the items are really high quality so its worth it. You are now allowed to bring your own bags again, which they encourage, but if you forget... they have the best paper bags ever. If you must choose plastic, they do have a recycling bin for you to bring them back to. The parking lot even has electric car charging stations! Final honorable mention is the wonderful employees here. Each and every one goes above and beyond with great attention to detail.

Find me a better grocery store on the planet. You can't! There is nothing DLM doesn't do well.
