Don Cuervo

Great Mexican restaurant in Greenwood!One Friday evening I decided to give Don Cuervo a shot. The decor style includes dark mahogany wood seating, black and white images throughout, and a wall mural by the bar of what appears to be of the Angel of Independence monument in Mexico city. My meal of choice was arroz con pollo. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The portion of rice seemed somewhat modest, but had a good, cheesy and zesty flavor. Service was kindly, although my server did seem a little rushed. She appeared to have her hands full attending other tables though, so understandable.Overall, a very good dining experience!

Decided to stop here on my way home. One day has good reviews. It was dinner time. I was seated quickly, but not waited on so quickly the waiter was in such a hurry If I paused for a second he was like I'll come back then it took himforever to come back. The food was good. I really liked the guacamole and their chips. Their salsa was a little warm for me, but I still ate. It I ordered a small margarita got the medium size which didn't know for sure until I got my bill. I did not drink at all because I knew I would only drink a small. I did not say anything didn't figure he would not understand me. Not sure I'll go back just because I'm not usually in that location.

This place is now our go to when we crave Mexican food! The place was very nice and packed with people, I assume regulars because we will be now! Started with a perfectly mixed pitcher of Texas margaritas, the special on a Friday night! Kids got chicken fingers and hand cut fries and arroz con pollo. Both enjoyed their selections, my son never had arroz con pollo and loved it! Hands down the best fajita salad bowl I've ever had! Grilled steak and chicken with cheese, lettuce, onions, peppers, grilled corn, black beans, and avocado. Such a great combination and perfectly mixed. My wife's enchanted with mole sauce was amazing, her favorite now! The waiter was so nice and friendly! Even with a pitcher of margaritas, the value for what you got was well worth it! So much food and didn't break the bank! Super cool spot and will be back again and again!

This restaurant is located in a little strip mall in Greenwood. They have an adequate size parking lot available, that it shares with the other businesses in the strip mall.The restaurant has two sides, one of which was open while I was there. that was the main dining area which had a few tables and booths. They also had televisions playing sports and Hispanic music playing in the background.The staff is friendly enough and the service was quick. They have a menu with your typical Mexican food including burritos, tacos, carne asada, enchiladas, fajitas, and quesadillas. They also have the favorite drinks that go along with the food like margarita, mojitos, daiquiris, and sangria.I ordered a steak quesadilla and got the chicken tenders for my little. The food was ready in about 5 minutes. My little's chicken tenders, were more like chicken nuggets and came with natural cut fries.My quesadillas came with rice and guacamole salad. It was ok. It was a little too salty for me. It was also luke warm, which I did not understand because it was prepared so quick. The Sangria is homemade and was very delicious. I almost made up for the food. It was chilled and had fresh fruit mixed in. I highly recommend you getting a glass, if you drink. This is an ok place to get Mexican food in Greenwood. It is very clean and has a wide range of Mexican food and drink to choose from. I will admit that my food was not the best. If I do go back, I would definitely try something else. The pictures on here looked so good though, and I had such high hopes.

I have eaten here many times and it is always good!! When I want to order online this is my place!! Not many Mexican restaurants do online ordering. Their food is great and their cheese is awesome. When I order salsa, I always order a side of cilantro. Everyone's taste buds are different, I just like extra cilantro. They pack you lots of chips and napkins etc. Very pleased to order to go!! Staff is very friendly and service is quick!!!

Tijuana Brisket tacos. Enough said. I freeeeequent Don Cuervo just for those tacos, man! Every. Single. Time I go that broke at is ALWAYS tender, juicy and they aren't stingy with putting the meat in the taco.I love putting salsa on my tacos for added flavor but these need NOT A THING.I've dined in a couple of times but usually I order to go, never had a bad experience. HIGHLY recommend. The staff is also very friendly!

Excellent service and food. Drinks were DELICIOUS. Our food came out before we could finish our guacamole too. Hot, fresh food with an excellent atmosphere. Definitely will be back!!!!

thaty gave my food cold and forgot one of my items and that were vary rude the food was so bad

Tried to walk in and pick up an order at the location at 8:26 PM today. A guy who was there who was just snacking on some food came to the counter to (help me). Found out It wasn't this location. I tried to place and order at this location and he did not want to attempt to take my order and told me to go pick up the order i placed at another location. It was rude for sure and I was just trying to place and order at Don since i'm a local who eats from the location occasionally. Worst customer service and experience i've ever had. I get the closing in 30 minutes, but when I was in food service it didn't matter to me. I wouldn't go to this place for take out but maybe dine in is a better experience. I just wanted two chicken tacos and horcha.
