Doe Run Lake Park

1st time here, when you drove uphill, at the lake, the view is spectacular! There is plenty parking. We walked half or maybe 1/3of the trail beside the lake, very nice trail, and excellent view. There is creek running through several area through the trail, but the time we were here in Autumn, it's mostly dry. We didn't finished the whole trail, will definitely come again to try the trail from the other side.

I love coming here to hike and fish! In an unexpected spot and people do a great job with social distancing right now. Also lots of room to park and 1 minute away from a bait shop/gas station.

This was a little reservoir/park we found. It looks like a rock quarry. It has a walking trail around the reservoir in the middle. Fishing is also permitted as signs were posted for the rules. Lots of picnic tables and benches were also scattered around the trail. We went on a grey, barron day in the middle of the winter and yet still had lots of beauty around. I can't wait until the spring to come back and see it in full bloom. A hidden gem for sure.

Went here for a practice OCR. So calming, it's free and clean. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Beautiful park with lots of parking, soccer fields, a boat ramp and great dirt trails circling the lake.
