Bartender Joe was excellent! Lovely outdoor seating area, live music & karaoke, large dining are & cozy bar & high tops.Specials were presented w/ the menu, reasonable priced & large portions. Even the smaller sized salads were huge.Started w/ the Pork Rinds, I am not a fan, but my bf loves them. They were great & still crackling from the fryer! We took them home also & still crispy days later. Ordered the Ribeye Sandwich & mashed potatoes which were savory & very filling. I also ordered the Grilled Blackened Chicken, Baked Sweet Potato & Salad w/ the Boom Boom sauce. Joe's offered to bring me out a taste & it was delish on everything! Food cooked to perfection like home, not bar food. Lots of regulars & I can see why. Every town needs a bar w/ this ambience, good food & friendly happy people.

DJ's is a great local bar in Winchester that offers great home cooked pub fare with a southern twist. There's something for everyone (including picky eaters) and service is always friendly and fast!

DJ's is a great local restaurant for steaks and burgers. I say this because that's all I've had here because I love steaks and burgers! The steaks and very good and their burgers are spot on! They also have a very good beer cheese they make in house and offer on a platter.

I'm going to start with this. I never go to any restaurant and say that every single thing I got was cooked to perfection. However, in this case I can absolutely say everything was cooked to perfection. And man, you have to try the 911 sauce on those wings. That stuff is awesome. The service was way above and beyond as well. I got to meet the chef and it blew my mind to find it was a young 18yr old girl. Guys, I would put her up against any of those 40-yr. old chefs with years of experience any day. We had the appetizer sampler, then the beer cheese burger with onion rings for me and mac and cheese for the daughter. When I say everything was cooked to absolute perfection. That is what I mean. We are not from here but anytime we come to Winchester to visit, we will be at this restaurant. Thanks for the great experience and rest assured, I'll be back and I'm bringing friends.

Service was short staffed but quick.... Steaks were decent and the beer cheese and homemade ranch sauce were outstanding

The food is very delicious, not a lot like it around Winchester! Service is good not too bad of a wait depending on how busy it is.

Salad was very old and wilted. Steak was over done. Was hoping for the food be more fresh. It wasn't. Service was pleasant however

Dropped off of the interstate because I was craving a good ribeye steak. Stopped in at 3:05 pm on Friday afternoon. Ordered the 12 oz Ribeye (medium) with a loaded baked potato. Salad with ranch dressing. (3:15 pm for order)Place was empty except for a woman and two children. The salad showed up at the table at 3:22 pm. It was in a side dish bowl with very shredded iceberg lettuce, a free small bits of tomato and cucumber (the lettuce was cut for a taco, not a salad). It wasn't bad, but less than I expected.At 4:22, the steak arrived. The baked potato was warm, not hot and had a few shredded of cheese and a few bacon bits in the cut (was not fresh - wouldn't melt the simulated margarine spread) The steak was a good size, little fat and cooked well done. It was extremely dry and had tasted like an overcooked picnic hamburger patty. Very, very dry. The waiter did stop and ask about the meal and I pointed out that a medium steak usually has a red center and this one was over cooked. The waiter offered to replace the meal, but I refused since I was traveling and it took over 40 minutes to go from order to the table. (No one else entered the restaurant during this time)I tried, but didn't eat the meal. My ribeye craving was gone, I paid and left to get onward to my destination.The wait staff were polite, but the food was subpar. If I had time, i still wouldn't have waited. They need a new cook. The chicken salad sandwich and homemade chips I had at lunch were outstanding! I was expecting 'ok' but was really wowed. I highly recommend this place.

This place just stole over $100 from us worst service and boot leather steak we have ever had. The police were called, I would not recommend this dump to anyone. I'm not sure who is more pathetic the bartender who tried to justify the bad service or the owner of the failing business. I will be filing charges in the morning
