Dixie Dairy Dreem

Got the large peanutbutter milkshake and regretted it. We should have shared it or got smaller size. It was thick but not as icy as udf. We both get large at udf but couldn't finish this. Decent shake but would get medium. LOTS of flavor choices.

A jankie little ice cream shop right on South Dixie. Been here a few times with the granddaughter because it's close to where they live.She seems to like it, but I'm definitely not a fan. It's extremely overpriced and I really question the cleanliness of the serving area inside. I've had the soft serve ice cream cone a couple times. Maybe I've just outgrown ice cream cones but I'm just really unimpressed. The price of a simple milkshake here will really shock you It's the only game in town that's why it's survived all these years

Meh. I've driven by this place hundreds of times and have never stopped to even get ice cream. Tonight I decided to try a few food items and a strawberry shortcake. I got a grilled chicken sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and fried pickles.The fried pickles were done. They were still doughy and squishy in the middle, and they were so greasy that they upset my stomach. The mozzarella sticks were just gross. Heinz marinara sauce is gross. I'm assuming they're just getting kind of bulk run of the mill GFS frozen items and popping them in there fryer. I get it, that's what these small places have to do, but just a little something extra could really improve these fried items.The grilled chicken sandwich was gross. I'm not sure if it was the bun or the mayo, or maybe a combination of the two, but I ended up just taking the grilled chicken breast off the sandwich and eating it that way. I did finish the pickles, but the mozzarella sticks went in the trash.I also got a strawberry shortcake sundae. It was melted by the time it got home, fully expected in late July. But the short cake was as hard as a rock. I initially thought that it had just been frozen, but it wasn't cold it was just hard, making me think that it was stale.Not a great for experience. Definitely won't be rushing to go back. Maybe just stick to the ice cream at this place? ‍

My family's favorite place to go around the neighborhood. We always have come for the ice cream. I mean who doesn't like soft serve !!?It looks like the food menu has expanded in previous years but we have always stuck to the ice cream. Can't wait for more evening visits as summer approaches!

This place is great. Cheap, nice staff, and i've never seen anyone else while there- aka a short wait. Ice cream is good for the price (I work at an ice cream store where i can eat as much as I want and I prefer this place). Been many times and will continue to visit.

The Dairy Dreem is my favorite ice cream place in Dayton. Service is great, the ice cream is amazing and you gotta love the walk up atmosphere! It is a classic!

Dixie Dairy Dreem is the popular place to get ice cream in Moraine. It's probably the coolest thing about this city. Literally the coolest for sure. It has a good selection of ice cream. They also have hot junk like very greasy burgers if you need a meal. It was scorching that day. I had a watermelon slushie. This is about $2 for the regular size. It's big enough. This really cooled me off. It was melty enough that it didn't freeze up right away. They put in the right amount of ice. All the hot food isn't as good. This is the usual fried shit. Kind of a lame area. It doesn't have much else going on around. There's a nice patio and some tables.

Throw back to the warmer summer days. Dairy Dream has gigantic soft serve ice cream portions for pretty cheap prices, with all the flavors and mix ins and sundae options. Pretty unassuming little spot, and just a couple of picnic tables. I always drove past it in the way to work and finally decided to swing by and try it out. Glad I did because it's a nice little motorcycle ride up from my house. They have food as well but we will have to try that next summer!

This place has always been great, no matter what year I go throughout the years. Great prices and the quantity and quality you cant beat. Me and my coworkers love this place. We'll always be back :)

I grew up eating the coney dogs here for the past 50 years. Went today and they have changed their coney sauce to some meaty mixer which was terrible. No one made a better coney in the area prior to this change. Never thought I'd say I won't be going back.
