In the 3 years I have lived in Deer Park this store has gotten better and better. Today the deli hit a new high, the hot bar has always been good. Amazing fried chicken and sides but in recent months the staff has mostly changed and the food has gotten really good. Today beef tips in gravy, mashed potatoes and white macaroni and cheese were really good. The best thing is the grumpy woman who seemed to run the deli and the loud mouth male who always called me honey or baby are gone. The rest of the store is nice and clean and the produce and meat are great. People complain about the prices but lately Kroger is not so cheap and the time I save supporting this small business is worth the few cents I would save driving to the crappy Kroger in Blue Ash.

I stopped in a couple days ago to get a few things and was in & out quickly. It's a small store and it's overpriced on most everything. But when I don't need much and want to avoid the big stores - this place fits the bill. The employees are nice too.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I witnessed this store VIOLATING Covid-19 masking and distancing protocols. Not to mention the deli chicken is terrible. The store manager and the deli manager are just not cut out to be in charge and IT SHOWS. There was dirt on the floor and dust everywhere, and the staff couldn't seem to keep their masks over their noses. Went in for a quick grab-and-go lunch, dropped my items and walked out.I've lived in Dillonvale for 4 years and only went in pre-covid times for quick trips of convenience, but the last time I was there it was so dirty and a huge number of both customers and employees not wearing masks that I left my cart and walked out. SHAME.So many elderly people shop here from our neighborhood and they are NOT being good neighbors and trying to do the bare minimum not to kill their freakin' customers. Hope it closes soon and we get something actually useful in this nearly-dead strip mall.

This store has done a wonderful job at doing everything they can during this whole covid shambles the employees all wear the mask and do there best the meat always looks fresh and shelves stay stocked pretty good the deli has the best chicken around they do a great job I've seen customers give them a hard time for something they have no control over but they stay polite and do their jobs they keep the store clean and organized I'm glad to have them in the area

I purchase very little from this store because I just can't afford too. The cost of one Granny Smith apple here can get you three at Kroger's or five at Aldi's. The problem is getting to those other stores and that basically is the only thing that keeps this IGA location on seemingly surefootedness. Since it is the only grocer in probably a one mile radius, it is the only game in town for the Deer Park, Silverton, parts of Blue Ash and Amberley Village communities and Dillionvale IGA knows this and feels no pressure to truly compete. Why should it when it's accessible to the bedroom community that surrounds it and can get there and get back home during the commercials! Customer service: Not great, not horrible. Very stand off-ish unless you're a regular they know or, if they think you're there with a larcenous heart. I can't remember ever being asked if I needed assistance but, I can recall a few times asking for it and it was if I had an extra eye or two heads in that, they seemed to want to get it over with and away from me as quickly as possible. Some are friendlier than others (the Deli dept. crew are wonderful always) but that said, all seem to know their jobs. There doesn't appear to have a lot of turnover which is good and they have a relatively diverse crew. Products: I stick to a few items in which they are nearly exclusive in this area such as Gerber Chicken (Jungle Jim's also sells the brand) and periodically there are other items that may be on sell with a comparable price. I love the store's convenience the most but I just can't afford to do any major shopping there and I will never understand a business settling for that. Ok, you've got a comfort level achieved by having steady foot traffic that allows for a basic bottomline to be met but, this location has the potential to increase sells exponentially simply by being competitive. Consumers would much rather save gas driving to Dillionvale for a similar price than waste money thinking they'll break even by going elsewhere.

Sometimes I honestly wonder why I keep going into this store. Maybe it is the blue bags that they give you at check out, I don't know. This place is sky high, but I you are in and out in a heartbeat most days. honestly that has to be the reason. There are a few employees that can stand to go and get some training as to how to be professional. I was in line and the woman in front on my had to put her stuff back because she couldn't find her credit card and the cashier was talking nasty about her because she has a salad from the salad bar and it now had to be thrown away. How rude! It is part of her job to throw things away and put things away. The woman kept trying to get her attention to ask her what she should do with it, but at the time she was busy chatting it up with another employee. I don't think that I have been back in there ever since. So if you only need a few things stop in as long as you bring your means of purchase or they will talk nasty about you too, I guess. Beware of the high prices though.

Dillonvale IGA has the best meat. Their chicken doesn't have those white arteries or whatever those are. They have thinly sliced steak and that is the perfect portion for me. Their potato salad is yummy. The store is never crowded and it's clean. The staff is always friendly and wear masks. Parking lot is never full.

I shopped this store when I lived in Silverton 30 years ago and find I still return. Yeah, I can get apples cheaper at some big retailer, but I can't talk to a person. This store gets me a cheerful answer with one call, no menu choices, and I don't have to get transferred 3 times. Today I called for shamrock plants. Tons of em at a variety of price points. I plan to pass 4 or 5 options to buy my St. Pat's plants there. I love the size of the store, the cleanliness, and personal service. Easy and safe parking (compared to Scurvey Square Kroghetto) No panhandling, no fearful rush to the car. Great store experiences here.
