I took my grand kids to this new location for the first time yesterday. They just relocated to this area. I want to say I liked the old "set up" much better. In this location - the space is longer and narrower - it is harder to keep an eye on your kids. In the other location you could see your child no matter where you were located. I want to say that the place was PACKED - to the point that it almost felt unsafe. I'm wondering if there is an age limit to play because while we were there - there were older - bigger kids playing. And they were running around having fun like all the smaller kids but they were not as cautious around the smaller ones making it a little dangerous for the smaller kids. Several times I witnessed smaller ones being pushed or knocked down by bigger kids - resulting in tears. The play structure has the back side up against the wall and one side against a bounce structure so you can only observe your child from the other side or the front. I had a hard time keeping track of my kids once they were inside the structure - that wasn't the case at the other location. This structure also is long and narrow and it is dark inside - the structure at the other location was open and larger. They still have the sand table and it is fun but they need to make it a little lower so it's accessible without little ones tottering on stools. The sand level was low as well so they were having to practically climb into the table to play. They took away the bounce house. The bounce structure they have is not large enough for the amount of kids that were on it - especially the bigger kids combined with smaller ones. They need to monitor the number that are on at the same time. I was on my toes the entire time making sure my kids were safe and trying to help them enjoy the experience however there are many tables set up for parents to sit and look at iPhones etc. One of my main concerns - while we were there - there was one lady working behind the counter and one teen age boy doing his best to monitor the play structure and bounce feature. He had his hands full. If you are going to pack that many kids in there you need to have more employees present. They also need to incorporate some type of exit strategy such as they are checking wrist bands to make sure you are leaving with your child. It would have been too easy for one of those kids to be carried out of there - with how crowded it was.I'm thinking once school resumes following the holidays it won't be so busy?? We only stayed for half an hour - the kids really couldn't enjoy anything.EDIT to respond to owners response to my review - because I can't figure out how to respond -As far as your play structure being better and brighter - look at the 2 narrow entryways to get up into the structure and try to observe a child once they are up in it from the 2 sides that are accessible - The issue we had with the inflatable at the previous location was the SAME inflatable you are using now - so not sure what your response meant - And yes - it was a holiday week - as I pointed out in my review - IT WAS TOO CROWDED AND CHAOTIC. If you had additional employees there that day maybe make them more visible - on the floor where needed. I saw the teenager (guessing at his age) running around like crazy and a woman (maybe it was you?) behind the counter. You stated I have a problem every time I bring my children to your business - not true. I brought my kids to your previous location many times. I had one bad experience at the previous location that I let you know about - because it was a pretty serious issue - I didn't post it on line. I felt, after discussing it with whoever it was that returned my call, I had at least made you aware of the possibility of that inflatable having some issues. AND I told whoever I talked to that I loved bringing my kids there because the area was so open and you could observe your child no matter which area they were in - with the exception of the new inflatable. I continued to bring the kids there because I liked what you offered - just made sure to be right at that inflatable to observe when my kids were on it. As far as a refund - I would not have asked for a refund - I pre-paid on line for 2 children - we came to play and decided to leave after 30 minutes - I don't need the refund. I still love your concept - and I know you don't care based on your attitude - but we won't be back. Reviews are meant to be used as a learning tool - I had valid comments on my experience. There are several other indoor play spots in our area that do it right.
