Deer Park Deli

Was passing through on the way back home. A place for real locals; warm, hospitable, efficient; lodes to the brim with all your game day needs and then some. This is a classic 'deli-counter-at-the-back' setup.Had a Reuben. I'm overly critical of the subject matter; so no offense meant to those that could clearly see Deer Park's variation as world class: this is a good Reuben. Slightly warm (not marbled) rye, toasted but not necessarily a crisp crust. The meat was good, freshly sliced- it took a backseat to the other players in the band. Could have used slightly more Russian dressing (or Thousand Island, as is my hunch). The sauerkraut was the best part and was abundantly present; pungent bite, delicate texture, noodle-like but still some snap where it counted.Also got deviled eggs- $3 and change for 6 halves. Very good, the ones with paprika, anyway.On a separate note, but applicable to each item, was the value. For $11ish dollars, you'll grab a hearty lunch. Not iconoclastic, not game changing; but satisfying to the gullet and the pocket.

Deer Park Deli is the locally owned grocery store and carryout. It has lots of stuff you need for a party. The deli counter is a classic with a large display of salads. It also has lots of beer and liquor. This is fun just to go through. It has the kind of charm you can't get at Kroger. It has something to do with the family who owns it. They run it themselves so it doesn't have the employee turnover like a bigger store. It also has to do with it being a smaller place. They don't have the selection of a chain, but they have a good variety. One other good thing is the liquor. It has Sunday liquor sales. You don't have to wait until after the weekend.

We stop at Deer Park Deli at least once a week! They are our go-to spot for all of our meats. The quality of their meats is top notch and service also exceeds the bar! They're a local Deli in the heart of Deer Park. You can find everything you need from fresh cut meats, adult beverages, and favorite snacks or grocery items. Not to mention they have killer onion and buffalo chicken chip dips! Family owned and local small business, this one anyone nearby should make sure to stop in and show support!

I have been going to Deer Park Deli for many years. The customer service is wonderful and they are always so friendly. The meat is good quality and the prices are good. I get the monthly freezer bundles which are a good value and selection. I like the ham salad sandwich. Mmmmmm good. Angie B

Pathetic meat tray. You order something and expect it to be delivered well but nope. I could of done this and will have to fix it because people are lazy and don't want to do their job

Largest Liquor Selection with the best prices around.Mom and Pop environment that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in.Deli counter is not only a place for meats and cheeses, but for breakfast, lunch, and dinner ready to eat when you get it.Can't beat this place.

They have everything and they are one of the last neighborhood grocers I know of. Meat counter, produce, spirits, check it out.

I was minding my own business, buying a USA made bottle of Vodka, when the cashier suggested I should buy a bottle of Russian Vodka. It was a purely political comment, and in my opinion, disgusting. I will happily take my business to Red Bank fine wine and Spirits from now on.
