I was surprised to find a Chinese market that's so very well stocked here in Dayton. From live seafood, frozen seafood, meats of all sorts and cuts, fresh vegetables, Chinese herbs, tea, and large selections of Asian snacks. They have way more things than the Far East Mart. The interior layout of things looks a bit messy due to the amount of goods in stock. The cashier was friendly, and convenient parkings out front. Highly recommend by @winedinenvacay

Went here looking for some nabe ingredients, but the vegetables were not fresh so I left with nothing. The store is small, one person with a cart can hold up the entire flow. A couple of six foot freezers with frozen fish, some live blue crabs, other live fish, a small meat counter. It might be a nice neighborhood store suffering from lack of access to good quality produce, it is not a mini jungle Jim's. It may also be helpful if one can read Chinese or other Asian languages.

First time visiting. Surprised this place stays open! Dirty floors, smells like spoiling clams and shrimp (I could smell it through my mask), uncaring employees (didn't greet or offer to move boxes blocking the aisles preventing carts from going down the aisle; I had to physically push boxes out of the way to get through), prices on the shelves are mislabeled (they'll ring up at a price that doesn't reflect what's on the shelf, usually double what is listed), miscoded items (items don't ring up as what they even are; bought some candy that ran up as spicy peas), and disorganized (no way to tell how long things in freezers had been there or what is what. A lot of frozen stuff had fallen and wasn't stacked back on the shelf, just left in piles at the bottom of the freezer). Pricey! Two bags of gummy candy, a small soy sauce, a hoisin sauce, and a shiso furikake rang up to $25. Never going back.

It has shown slight improvement recently. I noticed the shelves are more stocked. Also, the produce seems a little fresher. They have new fridges that has cut down a lot on the fishy smell. Overall though this place is in need of a remodeling. Prices seem slightly expensive.

Happy Asian Mart - right beside Kung Fu Noodle! After dinner, I stopped by to check out the produce section.I love the prices. Much cheaper than a few Fairborn/Dayton asian markets I shop at! All of the produce is very fresh - the entire store is very clean and well kept (and smells really good, like a faint sweet clean smell). They had a ton of king oyster mushrooms for a great price and very fresh baby bok choy.Just a little note: Even the customers are really nice! Thank you to the person who bought us the mochi bean cake ...it was left on the belt after my purchase and I didn't want to ring my card again because of the transaction fee for the owner, so I was going to put it back. The other customer insisted on buying us the cake. So sweet. My boyfriend and I split it for good luck when we got home. :)Anyway, I highly recommend shopping here for groceries!

I've been shopping here since it opened and what I like about it is that it's always getting better. They finally carry my brand of curry! That's only kind of a joke. The people are always friendly, there's always something interesting and tasty on sale by the front door, they carry fresh produce, and I love being able to buy massive bags of rice for cheap. I also got a giant wok and a nice spatula for it from this little section of hard items they have tucked in the back.My only criticism isn't really their fault, if I understand business, but they have a $10 limit on credit card purchases. I know if they didn't they'd get eaten alive by fees from people coming to grab some foreign candy or whatever every day, but $10 is kind of high. I've literally had $9 and change worth of goods to check out at the register and has to go tack something else on to use my card.Selection isn't quite what it is over at the Far East Center, but this place is within walking distance. And now that they carry my brand of curry here, it saves me a long drive over there! At any rate, it's a lovely little shop full of lovely people, and it gets better all the time

Not a good selection of oriental foods. Food was in disarray on shelving with no prices. Outdated food on shelves. I will not shop there again.
