Wow this place is disgusting. They had fish out of refrigerators, rotten vegetables and the prices were high. The cauliflower had mold and the vegetables in bags was browning. There was also a faint rotten smell.

I am a 66 year old woman who spent a year of college in Japan. I went to the HAPPY ASIAN MARKET for the first time to pick up a couple items that I was longing to revisit and incorporporate into my diet. I asked the gentleman at the register if he could tell me where a certain item was. (I am pretty good at finding things, however, I don't read Kanji characters and some of the packaging here doesn't include English. I get that. No problem.) He said, "This is a grocery store. You may have to look around." REALLY DUDE?? This is your idea of customer service at the freaking HAPPY ASIAN MARKET??? What an oxymoron. He must have been having a bad day, because eventually, he approached me with a small basket and asked me what else I needed.Next time, I will go to the PLEASING MARKET in Fairborn. I have a feeling they will live up to their name.

Jack, your review was spot on! I repelled every compulsion to blast this venue on YELP and give it 1 star as well. I went on opening day launch. UGH! They couldn't take a card, had only two aisles partially filled. More empty space than produce? I am so out of here!Judging by your photo, you are well aware that things can change. This is exemplified in regards to a new venue. I live a block away and was the bass player for the former business, Colony Club in the 70s as I was 14 and couldn't drive so I walked across the street to my "Gig". I was disappointed! I cannot remember the last time I entered a market and did not buy a single item. Having said that....I love the Kung Fu Noodles restaurant! next door. I took my sister and she loved it as well. I was ready to leave when she indicated that she wished to try the Happy Asian Market. UGH...... how about NO!Well? Long story short? I raised her (yup, it was the 60s) and she can be a force NOT to be reckoned with. I found myself amazed at their improvements! I left with two bags of Asian ingredients I haven't had since living in China. Bro, I never saw that coming.Kudos to Happy Asian Market for continuing to improve their venue. Try the Pocky!

The first time I came here, MY impression was very bad, the supermarket owner was very rude, I saw people arguing when I entered, I didn't care about others' feelings, and the things I bought were not very fresh...

Place is legit. We usually drive all the way to jungle Jim's for our Asian food needs. I'm glad this place opened up. Now we don't have to dry so far.

Store is neat and clean. Food is full of selections and very authentic. I am Chinese and love the rice noodle. The pics I posted that I purchased from their shop are extremely delicious. Good ingredients including pork bone soup and beef terrier sauce. Very good service there as well. It become better and better and import more and more fresh seafood. I love this store.

Bad customer service, no prices label on the vegetables area, you dont know how much it cost until you check out. By that time is too late. They also change the price constantly by as much as 25% or more in second before check out. Will not shop there again. They need to learn how to do business honestly. This is America!!!! Raise prices and take advantage of the covid 19 to make money is such a scum.

Good selection of Chinese with some other foods mixed in. Some Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, etc. A very nice selection. Why the low review? I never review something at 1 star and this would have been my first but I gave a very generous 2 star. Be very very careful about the expiration dates on the packaged and frozen foods. I bought over $100 worth of food here only to get very very sick within an hour of eating. I know how to prepare properly but still was very sick in the stomach. At first thought it was the flu but it only lasted for a day. Miserable cramps and .....we'll save the other details. It was very clearly food poisoning. This place seems to get some ok reviews and I should have known better in an un kept Asian market but I went all in and paid for it that night and the next day. Be very leary of anything fresh and be very careful of the expiration dates on the packaged goods and frozen foods. Not a legitimate business to ignore expiration dates.
