This place is a local favorite in our town. This is the first time I've ever been here. Boy I should have tried this years ago. A very cool old city vibe with great service. Traditional home cooked style food at really good prices. The service was great and prompt. I think you will be happy to stop in here for some yum yums.

We stopped in to try the salad bar. They had potato salad, cottage cheese, tapioca, pudding, and basic salad fixings with five dressings to choose from. The salad bar also includes the soup of the day and today it was stuffed pepper soup. We loved the soup, it was a rich tomato base with diced cooked peppers. Great flavor and hearty on a cold day. I love the salad bar, but I can't even begin to tell you how exciting dessert was. The chocolate delight was some kind of a dessert with combinations of a crust made from graham cracker and chopped nuts, and then they layered it with whipped cream and chocolate pudding, and the graham topping as well. Excellent dessert and large enough to share. Nice lunch choice.

We've stopped in at Daniel Girls a few different times over the past month and each time was just a little better than the last, what more hungry guy as for??!!!? It's a self seat restaurant which I love! The tables a HUGE! They can accommodate a party of 1 or 20 with ease. The interior is also HUGE with high ceilings that echos with the joys and laughter of other's! The food is delicious, fresh, homemade, and some of the cheapest meals in the state! This has become our new go to spot whenever we make it out to Connersville. Stop in and tell the girls hello!!

What a wonderful find in Connersville! Delicious breakfast at prices that are much lower than in the "big city." Had the meat lovers omelette with good coffee. Friendly staff who are always ready to help. Love the farmhouse feel.

Hubby & I stopped in here for lunch for the first time. I ordered a fish sandwich with a side of tater tots & and sweet tea. Hubby got a pork chop with 3 sides: mac n cheese, potato salad, coleslaw & a Pepsi. We were both contented with our food. I was a bit disappointed that the tartar sauce for my fish was not homemade. The sweet tea was overly sweet. I should have ordered it half sweet/half unsweet. Our server took good care of us. We would eat here again when in the area.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is relaxed and makes you feel like you're at home with family. Our waitress was friendly and offered great suggestions as well. My husband had the BLT with the homemade potato salad and said it was good. My son had the sirloin steak with fries and applesauce and thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter had the H.H burger and she said it was nice and juicy and delicious. I had the Schultz Burger and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. We each had a dessert at the end and were very satisfied. The meal prices were reasonable for what you got, however the dessert prices were a little high. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped here after the Polar Express ride. It was busy, so we expected a longer than normal wait, but it was wayyy too long. We were there for over an hour before we got our food. My mom ordered the hand breaded cod dinner. When it came out, we all looked at it and had no idea what it was supposed to be. It was some gross looking balls of breaded fish. They smelled like old grease and the fish itself inside wasn't white or flaky. We weren't sure if the fish was undercooked, overcooked, or old. It was just all around yucky. I couldn't get anyone's attention, so I went up to the register and asked for a cheeseburger for her instead. They looked at me like I had two heads when I said the fish was not edible, but they obliged and put in an order for a cheeseburger. We waited another 30 minutes before my husband got up to see what was going on. The burger was just being put on the grill and we were ready to go at that point. We paid the bill and my husband waited for it to get done and be put in a to-go container. After an hour ride home, the burger went in the trash. I got a chef salad. The salad was limp and not good at all. I ate four bites and left the rest on the table. My husband said his burger was decent. The onion rings were very good. I give 2 stars for the onion rings.

I was in Connersville the other day, taking care of some business. And I searched for a good place to eat. After a little bit of searching, I found the Daniel girls farmhouse. The food wasn't bad in fact the food was good and the place was real nice. But I ordered the ribeye sandwich thinking that I was going to get a piece of ribeye steak on a bun with some fixings on it, when they brought the ribeye sandwich out, it was a piece of ribeye steak on a hamburger bun with nothing on it at all. Just a bun and a piece of steak. The piece of steak was twice the size of the bun. I must say it did taste good, but it failed to meat the expectation that I had in my mind for it as I said, it wasn't bad at all, it just wasn't great like I expected it to be. I guess I left there not hungry but not satisfied, if that makes any sense. I would say, though for people that love dessert they sure had a bunch of pies that looked really good.

BLT was perfect. Not really Texas toast I'm used to, but nicely toasted bread and perfect amount of yummy CRISPY bacon, iceberg, tomato and mayo. Fries on side great, not a huge portion of fries, but I shouldn't really be eating huge portions of fries anyway. Took pies to go and they were delicious.
