Dale Zink Meat Market has been around for generations. Smells so delicious when you walk in. Big fresh meat counter and deli counter manned by friendly and efficient staff. There were lots of customers but everything moved along quickly. The fresh meats looked to be extremely high quality. If only they were local I would have gone through the roof. The staff member I asked actually went and checked and let me know it's mostly from Iowa and Nebraska. Only US-grown, so that's good.My husband's a fan of head cheese and they have it here. He said it was some of the best ever. Got some German wieners too which were very good. They probably have just about any cold cut you can name. Prices match the quality. Don't hesitate to ask for a taste before making the commitment. Nice section of canned and jarred goods, a lot of these are local/small business products. Got some kicking sweet and spicy pickle chips in a big jar. Plenty of bread options. Everything you need to go with that meat.The parking lot is a little challenging when trying to exit onto the main street but I found a kind of secret back way out that made it smoother sailing.I occasionally go to church in this region and will definitely stop here again on a future Sunday. You should too!

Downtown Franklin definitely has a gem of a meat market. Make sure to view their hours as they are closed a few days of the week. However, when they are open, there is usually a nice line. They are very efficient in getting everyone taking care of in a timely, orderly fashion. The meats are very high-quality as well as a lot of their side dishes, such as their pasta salads, and their twice baked potatoes, which are some of my favorites. My husband loves their pickled eggs. I highly recommend their homemade seasonings. Meats and vegetables taste amazing with it. Everyone is super friendly as well. Enjoy!

I like this place they have a great selection of meat, but perhaps a bit more important to me is their ability to customize a meat order to your specifications.

Some of the best cuts of meat for the price you are going to find. They have homemade seasonings they are absolutely perfect for their cuts. The location is perfect in that downtown Franklin area and it's family owned and operated. Great people, great place, and better prices!!

I'm up here from Louisiana working and I'm very picky about my food. I found this meat market and took a chance. The quality of meats is great and the service that Ms Betty gave was even better. I instantly made a friend. I will be back!The ribeye before cooking it would almost fall apart in your hands. The homemade chicken salad is like my grandmas. You literally can't go wrong by stopping in and buying your grilling meat or even something sweet.

I have been buying meat at Zinks for some 20 years and have NEVER got a bad cut! They have the best ham salad in the area and their lunch meat is always fresh. The staff is always courteous and Mr Zink is a pleasure to do business with and is very friendly

The nicest employees. Really great cuts of meat. Last time I was there I picked up a couple ribeyes. Soooo tender and tasty. All I did was a little salt, pepper and butter. Bad news for me. About 35 miles round trip. I think I'll make the journey today

Truly THE place to go for meat - we got a 3 rib roast trimmed & seasoned perfectly and their amazing baked potatoes and some pimento cheese. The team there knows what they are doing and are happy to help & with advice. Worth the drive if it's a ways for you!!!

The food was great.The cashier was so Worried about her phone that I didnt get a greeting or anything. After i paid She picked up her phone and started texting. No thank you or anything.

Great selection of fresh cut meats. Love their ham salad. Excellent customer service and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend this butcher shop.
