Ice cream is one of our favorite food, and this place clearly is a local favorite. Lucky for us, it's on our way back home from many of our bike rides along the Little Miami trail. In the summer time, there can be a bit of a line but the ice cream is good, the people at the counter are friendly, and the picnic tables out front are a great place for people to relax and mingle. Given the size of the building (very small) you can imagine that their selection as not as massive as larger operations but they have all the major hitters. Stop by, say hi, get a cone, milkshake, sundae, etc.

Love this little ice cream place! I always stop here when I am in town. They have lots of kinds of ice creams but my favorite is always the mixed flurry. They always add lots of toppings and I am always so full! My dog also enjoyed a pup cup! Lots of outdoor seating options.

This is the best thing going on in Bellbrook. It's a classic place for ice cream. The place isn't very big but they have a large menu. Fast service even if they're busy. The staff is pretty friendly. It doesn't look like much. It just looks like a shed. That's all it is really, except that it has an ordering window. It's right in the middle of downtown. They are in the middle of a parking lot. It shares this with the businesses in the strip mall that's behind it. The menu is full of classic ice cream treats. I had the Eagle's Blood slushie. This is about $1.80 for the medium size. It might have been a grape flavor. This is purple because of the high school's colors and mascot. The best items are the ice cream and cold treats. It also has some hot stuff like burgers and hot dogs. They aren't as popular as the ice cream though.

Dairy Shed is located in "downtown" Bellbrook. It's usually packed with local families and teenagers. Evenings are when it's usually super packed. But even then you don't have to wait very long to get your sweet treats. They have really good soft serve. They also have basically the equivalent of getting a blizzard at DQ. So soft serve in a cup full of whatever candy/toppings you want. They have slushies, sundaes, floats and "Hershey's" ice cream that's not soft serve. They also have walking tacos and "sandwiches". All you need to know is that at Dairy Shed you need to get vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles (AKA Unicorn Tears) and ask for "Eyes", then your life is complete. Also, if you bring your dog(s) they have a cute dog dish you can get. It's a bowl of whip cream with a milk bone on top. My dog just eats all the whipped cream and leaves the milk bone in the dirt to become one with the earth, but maybe your dog is normal and will enjoy the whole dish? haha. It's outdoor seating, picnic benches/tables that are usually full, but if they are there are benches at some of the surrounding shops in the parking lot you can sit at. Since it's outdoor seating and literally just a walk up window in a "Shed", if you want to go out to Dairy Shed after it's been storming or raining I would be hesitant because they will sometimes close early if the weather is doing any of that. All in all, Dairy Shed has good prices and is a great place for family ice cream outings.

The Dairy Shed is our favorite spot to visit after we go on a hike to visit the Three Sisters. The parking lot right next to it can get a little confusing when the line is long but there's plenty of spots. The menu has a lot of options, but the soft serve is definitely my top recommendation! My five year old niece recommends vanilla ice cream with LOTS of sprinkles and get the eye balls! I always ask that they give her a little less ice cream because she's already a mess as is and this will melt quickly on a hot day! My last visit I tried the slushy with ice cream at the bottom/side. It was a great pairing! The line can get long but it moves very quickly. They have some picnic tables and they are quick to clean them so new customers can enjoy them.

This place is a hidden gem! My wife, son and I dropped by here last weekend after a young lady at Skyline had made mention about it! The ice cream was awesome and it's super close to our place! We will DEFINITELY be back! HIGHLY RECOMMENED!

Ordered 2 small brownie sundaes at $6.50 each and not even nough ice cream to come up to top of styrofoam cup. They used to put 3 tes that amount of ice cream. Very disappointed and won't go back if this is how they are doing now. Sad, as really liked the brownie sundaes in the past.

I went to dairy shed after a very long and hot baseball game looking for a nice refreshing cherry flurry. instead, I was awestruck to discover the Black Forest cherry was just chocolate ice cream, with 6 halves of cherries doused in what seemed to be an everlasting amount of coconut. I was very disappointed. Black Forest cherry will no longer be on my order list from here on out.
