Current Cuisine Deli

I love Current Cuisine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best place in the area to get a quick snack or meal or dessert. The salads, the sandwiches, the hummus, the soups, the cakes, the almond bars!!! I could go on and on. Service is always on point. Cute small town deli kind of vibe. I would eat here every day if I could. It's the best!!!!

This has been a go to spot every time I am home. Always had great service and the food choices are perfect. Highly recommend.

This deli has a variant of pasta salads, tuna salad, seaweed salad, fruit salad, and on and on! I bought a pound of the couscous and seaweed salad, both were flavorful and delicious! They also can make sandwiches of your liking and have bagels with a variety of spreads. It looks like all of their selections change throughout the months! 2 ladies were working on a Sunday and able to keep up with everyone and with smiles on their faces! You can also get some bakery items here and delicious slices of cake! On the way out you can grab jars of jelly, salsa, condiments, some cheese, meats, and chips! The Italian sandwich, the 2 salads, and slice of cake we got was $25 and worth it! Thanks!

I was so hungry I wolfed down my sandwich before I could take pics, but trust me it was delicious! This little deli had a case full of cold salads and a shelf full of beautiful baked goods. So many tempting choices. The tuna salad sandwich and side of broccoli salad made a perfect lunch. They have no inside seating, but outside table seating was a great spot for people watching in Yellow Springs.

Pretty good food. Everything is fresh and it tastes it. I recommend this place for anytime. The have early close hours so make sure they are open.

The selection and staff at Current Cuisine were great! Sandwiches, cold case, baked goods, and some cute picnic items. I wouldn't grocery shop here as the prices are a bit high, but they had a nice selection for a gourmet evening in or out. I'm always on the lookout for additions to a charcuterie board, and found some nice cheese and pickles.

First of all I'm a huge fan of the food and the selection here. They have unique and fresh deli items lined up to pick out what you want. I have been quite impressed with the selection as well as the quality of food and desserts that they have. The customer service, not so much. One staff member, I believe her name is Eva, I have had multiple negative experiences with. She actually said that "I didn't need to know her name" when I asked and that she could not have possibly done anything as there were other people working. My husband point blank said why yes but you were the only one that was rude. And she still was completely unapologetic. From the minute we walked in she barked at us and asked if we were with the person behind us, who was actually the one standing too close to us as we were on the appropriate mark. Having said that she should not be yelling at her guests at all! She would not let us pay for our drinks after waiting in line because our food wasn't ready so we couldn't go outside with them, and when I slipped my mask down for a second to take a sip because I was incredibly thirsty she yelled at me again! Also I had tried to order sourdough bread, I was told that the items that are sold out were on a sign, which sourdough was not on. That was actually not Eva, which was annoying but at least they said it nicely even if it was incorrect. I'm just not a fan of getting yelled at. Especially when I'm paying to eat somewhere. My husband said that he thought Yellow Springs was supposed to be a kind a happy and kind place. This was actually my second time in the past month that I have gotten completely rude service from the same staff member there, and to me that's just unacceptable. I only came back because the food is really good. Two stars because the food is great but I have never been so appalled by a staff member's blatant lack of regard for customer service. I have also been hesitant to leave bad Yelp reviews during this unprecedented time but enough is enough.

This place never disappoints. No matter what I choose, it is always delicious. Today, my sandwich was a toasted wheat bagel with turkey, provolone cheese, mayonnaise and avocado. It was superb. Their cakes are out of this world good. I love this place!

I like the hummus at Current Cuisine. It's the best stuff they have there. The bagels and salads are okay and there's plenty of vegetarian choices. It has a grocery section but it's not cheap. They can get crowded as it's a small place and service is not fast. I have liked most of what I've tried. It's got more of a selection than at the deli in Tom's Market. They're also known for its catering. It's one of the few caterers you'll find there. They have a good selection of bagels and salads. A few salads look kind of pricy for the portions. The couscous salads are my favorites. I always get hummus when here. The regular is thick and packs a lot of flavor. On a bagel it's even better. To get a bagel and hummus is about $5 total so a fairly good price. Bagels here are fresh and soft. The grocery section is not worth it. It's too expensive. The same stuff can be found in the Emporium or Tom's Market. I recommend Current Cuisine if a quick breakfast or lunch. The hummus is great on the bagels. They also cater and will make custom orders for you.

Current Cuisine offers delicious foods for a quick bite to eat or party trays for a special gathering. Their catering service is one of the best in this area. Whether it is a small or large event, their years of experience and fabulous food make your event a smooth and successful experience.I must highlight Current's pastries and cakes. Their baked goods are like home made, only better. My friends and family request Current's carrot cake whenever we are planning a gathering. And the cinnamon pull-aparts are a very special Yellow Sorings experience every Saturday. Current Cuisine is a special, culinary, Yellow Springs experience.
