CrossTown Bar & Grill

Looking for something fun to eat, we passed by CrossTown! The food was definitely bar food. Exactly what you would expect. Nothing super amazing, but it definitely filled the void in my tummy. I wish the wings were a bit juicier. Overall, I am glad we stopped! NOTE: the staff is the best part! Extremely nice! Real nice (not that fake kind of nice because they are being paid to smile kind of nice)! The staff makes this place shine! The staff is what makes this place above average! Most Sincerely.

The waiters that always look burnt out need to greet everybody rather than trynna get old folks drunk to tip

I was in Shelbyville and yelped breweries near me. I got a hit for Twisted Spoke Brewery. The info said it was in the CrossTown Bar and Grill. I showed up and there's no brewery!However, it's a great local dive bar!I love a good local bar with great food. I had a bowl of their chili, with cheese, onion and jalapeños- awesome!I had fried pickles - Pretty good. But great ambiance and vibe. They allow smoking, which I don't love, but can tolerate.

I used to love coming to Crosstown. It's been awhile. Service is terrible bartenders take your order and go off and help others and don't ever get your order.

The traditional, bone-in chicken wings are great here! 10 wings for $6.95I tried the Hot, Hot BBQ, BBQ, Hot Honey Garlic, and their own special super-hot Crosstown Creeper Sauce. The Hot BBQ was my favorite. I did not try plain or mild, as I like the heat! Finally a place in Shelbyville to give BW3's a run for their money. Tuesday's is wing night, only 50 cents each, but you have to order at least 1 drink to get the 50 cents price, which I thought was very odd, especially if you are ordering carry out, and already have drinks at home. The soft drinks cost $2.25 here, so $0.50 x 10 wings + drink = $7.25 So I guess its like only paying 30 cents for a drink. I hate stipulations like this. But any day/ night of the week, these wings are great. I eat wings anytime I find them, and these are top notch in my book. The bar and grill is nice looking on the inside, well kept, clean, organized, has dart boards, pool table, dance floor, special motorcycle parking by the front door, and a nice friendly staff. It seems to keep fairly busy during the week nights and the parking lot is usually full on the weekends. Nice bar with great wings (the fries with cheese and chili are good too), good prices, friendly staff, all around winner here in Shelbyville. Give them a try.

I've eaten here dozens of times in the past, but this is my first time as a yelper. The place is pretty smoky, so if you don't like being around that I wouldn't go. Their food is usually good, but this was my first time eating.the tenderloin. It was a glorified pork fritter and I won't be eating that again. Don't let this scare you away though, I've had some of their other food in the past and it was all very good. The girlfriend had the buffalo chicken sandwich. That girl and her hot meat. She enjoyed it but said she has had better.

Better than average bar food. Sirloin bites are great tho. Just a little too loud sometimes.

Walked in at 8:13pm on a Thursday.... couldn't get anything to eat that requires the grill....fried only....so could not get a steak....nor a club sandwich....got stuck with corn dogs and chicken.... tried to get some wings to go for the wife...she usually gets the quesadilla but not without a grill...by now it's ten minutes till nine and the cook is refusing to make them

This is a smoking allowed restaurant/ bar. Had a chef salad- really good. Beef tips looked amazing. People very friendly.

Don't go if you're not local! Went on Tuesday, bike night & was excited because I have a bike. Working In shelbyville from out of town. Sat in a booth 4 feet away from the bar. Bartender looked at me a half dozen times & never said a word. Waitress never came by. After 15 minutes I left. Looked like a cool place if your local.
