Country Fresh Farm Market And Wine Depot

Tonight stopped by for Country Fresh Farm Market on Beechmont in the Cherry Grove/Anderson Township area in Cincinnati. A friend raves about their Friday night wine tastings so finally met up with her for it, they run Friday nights 4-7pm and $5 for 4 generous pours along with meat, cheese & crackers.Tonight they also featured slow roasted pork nachos with City Chick BBQ sauce which were delicious.They have a variety of wine from around the world & many discounted specials as well as selection of local & regional craft beer.My friend said they have one of the best delis in town didn't get a chance to check it out on this visit because it was already close but definitely will be back everyone on their staff was extremely friendly and helpful worth the visit to this area of town

Great selection of everything! Beer and wine selection is one of the best in the city. Produce and deli items are always fresh and reasonably priced. Plenty of homemade items for family cookouts, parties, etc.

This is my go-to place to find discounted/discontinued (maybe just for the season) beers. Many times I can find a beer that I like or have been interested in trying, and I can get a 6 pack of it for at least half the normal cost. That way I have not spend $$+ on a beer that I might not like, but I get to sample (at least 1 can/bottle) and can support a local business. Does it always pan out that I like the beer? No....but at least I got to try it and I didn't have to spend a lot of money out of pocket for it. I ALSO appreciate, and this is the #1 reason I come here, being able to shop the basics for a grocery list in a small business. I don't have to wander around for hours to get to what I absolutely need.

About once a week I walk through Country Fresh to grab something I need for lunch and a bunch of "whimsy" as I make my way to the checkout registers. This store has the best selection of fresh, local produce but today I was just running in for celery for my egg salad. If they have some specialty item featured, it's hard to resist because you can smell it. I promise you. Grapefruits from Texas that smell good!Please understand that about once a week I find something in a cook book or I remember something from a restaurant and I have to make it at home. One month my neighbors couldn't quit talking about the bathtub peaches. In February, I discovered Red Grapefruits and last week I found Ohio Apples that were fresh! How is that possible!? Don't know. But now it's "essential". I would call Market Fresh a farmers market that is open rain or shine like a grocery store. You will find a huge case of cheese and people who know about Roquefort AND Ohio! Often, when I can't think of anything to cook, I have found inspiration just wondering the aisles. If you have tired of cooking at home during the pandemic they have delivery. And even before the pandemic, I found a recipe in a cookbook that requires polenta. At Kroger's, no one could tell me what polenta is and certainly no one was sure what department carried it! Here they not only knew what aisle, they had two flavors in addition to the regular. I love this place. It's an adventure without fear. Seriously. No judgment.

Very nice local market with a great wine selection and plenty of fresh produce and specialty food items as reasonable prices.

Such a charming grocery store. I imagine this is what Jungle Jim's was like in it's first building. Well... without any of the crazy decor. Decor reminds me of a country/general store. The wine and beer area is a bit more polished. I was surprised to see a tasting area. Several beers are on tap. My husband wanted to look at the beer selection. It was much more extensive than I was expecting. Produce was full and fresh. They had a great deal on cherries when we went. A large display was near the front of the store. We ended up purchasing cherries, as well as a few other produce items. My husband also found a four pack of beer that he wanted to try, so we purchased that as well. Along with produce and alcohol, there is a deli counter, two cheese cases, seasonings, sauces and condiments, dried goods, dried fruits, healthier snacks, natural items such as Bob's Red Mill products; the list goes on. A healthier country store if you will. On a Saturday evening there were 5 registers open! No waiting in line! Checkout was fast and efficient. While I don't think Country Fresh Market would suffice for our regular shopping needs, coming here quasi regularly for produce seems more than likely to happen.

Frozen selection is limited, but is a quaint business with a wonderful staff. If you want something fresh, this is the place to go!

We just started to attend the wine tastings. They have free appetizers and different wines and beers weekly. We hav enjoyed two of the events and really enjoy them. Their wine selection is great! They also have help that knows their product. They r helpful

Great selection. Produce is superior to any local grocery store. Meat counter has some great choices. Specialty items galore. Real life cashiers. Great in-store music...oh and a killer selection of wine and beer
