I visited here today after seeing them pop up on my IG feed! It's so cute and cozy in here! When you walk in the front doors there are 2 huge windows that serve as "book nooks". It was freezing outside so that area was a little chilly but I know it will be perfect in the spring summer! They have a few shelves of books and games as well as tables up front as well. In the back is the bar and more seating. I was promptly welcomed and asked if I had any questions or needed suggestions. I ordered a vanilla and lavender latte and it was delicious! I also got an everything bagel with cream cheese. They were not stingy with the cream cheese lol a little much for me, but wiped some off and it was perfect! They have some shelves of quirky little gifts including these cute wrapped mystery books, amazing pins, and other things. In the front they have a pay it forward board where you can donate a beverage or food to someone. I grabbed a book and sat in one of the bar areas. They came over and checked on me and made sure I was good. I definitely enjoyed this place and will be back soon!

The interior is really fun! There are several tables for working, several spots for playing games and several areas for cozy coffee and quiet. The wait staff were really friendly! The coffee was not good (a hot vanilla latte came out almost warm) and the food selection is expensive (popcorn for $3.50 seems pricey). I love local, small and women owned businesses and want to support them but I will have to think twice before coming back.

I have been slow to post because life has been crazy busy. I love this place. The decor, the atmosphere, the owner and her daughter. All of it comes together to create a space that is both energizing and relaxing. My favorite thing (drink-wise) is that they have coconut milk! It is so hard to find! It goes perfectly in the best London Fog I have had locally. I also love the calendar of events, family friendly vibe and all of the books! So many books. You can definitely get your fav drink and curl up for a nice read. (I will try to remember photos for my next post, but really need to see in person)

Stopped at Coterie Lounge & Cafe to get a few hours of work in. I received a warm and intentional welcome as I walked in. The first thing I noticed was the neat decor and eclectic vibes-- something different to look at everywhere-- even the bathroom. There is a small "back room" (actually in the front of the shop, but not where the main dining room and counter are) for quieter working space. I opted to sit in the main dining area, which was still plenty quiet. I was disappointed that there were no tea lattes listed on the menu, but when I asked, the barista said they make a good London Fog, so I happily ordered that. She was right; it was good. It was much stronger and more flavorful than I get many other places where folks seem to steep a tea bag and pump in some flavor. This one was much richer and served in a pretty ceramic mug. I was pretty hungry, but disappointed to see so few gluten free food options (they did have hash browns, a GF blueberry muffin, and chips & salsa). I ended up ordering a hash brown for $1.50 to tide me over until my next stop. Sadly it was just a warmed up frozen hash brown patty. I wouldn't order it again, but appreciated the warm snack. I found the Cafe to be a good spot to get some remote work done and would definitely return for a warm drink!

This is an incredible new spot!! My mom and I stopped in for an afternoon treat and we were so delighted with our experience. I arrived wanting to try the Red Velvet Dirty Sprite that I saw on their Instagram and it was delicious. My mom and I spoke with the owner and she shared with us her ideas and passions for making and creating new coffee drinks and dirty sodas. I'm excited to see what she comes up with next. It's really cool seeing the passion and vision of a new local business owner. I definitely want to come back and try their coffee!I also had a bowl of the Baja Chicken Enchilada soup and it was great! It was just what I needed to last me to dinner in a few hours. Their cinnamon rolls also looked delicious. The interior of Coterie is unique and a very welcoming space. There are posters for book clubs and community events, and elsewhere in the café are games. I can see Coterie becoming a spot for students to do homework, people to WFH, and the community to gather. I hope they continue to make an impact on the community with their creative and delicious food and drinks!

I respect what Coterie is trying to do, and happy to see a coffeeshop in Olde West Chester, but I wouldn't want to go there again.First, the reason to go there - the prices! Very reasonable, especially compared to fav Cavu Coffee. Perhaps this is because they are just starting out, as I was the first matcha latte they made. It was decent, but what I make at home is better. Kudos to them for offering to adjust/remake, as they are still getting into the swing of things? So, why wouldn't I go back? The vibes are just off. Maybe it's the layout, how there is a partition that creates a lack of flow, or that I was the only customer on a Tuesday afternoon and felt awkward, but I couldn't wait to leave. The bay window seating is also quite uncomfortable. So, if you are looking for a matcha latte, make it yourself at home, or pay more elsewhere.

Great local spot with such a wonderful vibe - I came by for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised. I had a yummy breakfast sandwich and enjoyed the quirky, colorful artwork and designs. Great place to chill and read a book or meet up with friends - the vision of Coterie's owner, the delightful Ghiovanna, is for the space to be a community center. The front room can be rented out for a separate meeting space and there is a patio in the back. A little gem in suburbia

Finally was able to visit - this eclectic, unique, hip coffee shop is wonderful. Great vibe, great drinks. I cannot wait to go here more often because I love the level of energy the owner has between her business and the community.
