New owners are great people. They open up early whenever we ask while me and the guys are on night shift. I expected the prices to skyrocket after they acquired the bar and because of inflation but it didn't. It's my favorite place to eat in my hometown, food is always fresh and tasty. Best food in Augusta for sure and the prices can't be beat. Just your normal bar with a nice chill atmosphere.

Off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Food was good and large portions. Stacy, our waitress, was cheerful and very friendly.

They had a handicapped parking spot next to the entrance. You had to walk up 6 stairs to get in. Bathroom was not handicapped accessible. Fries were cold and the chicken sandwich was hard on the edges. Floors were uneven, especially for me being handicapped. Table of older men smoking and telling stories. Loud and annoyingly. No one working had a mask. Not sure if Kentucky still requires them or not. Won't go back.

This is what a burger should taste like! Juicy with a crisp edge, melty cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, pickle, and mayo on a soft but sturdy bun! I can't confirm this, but several people have told me this has been awarded the Best Burger in Northern Kentucky. I believe it! The place is my kind of place. So much character! Colorful Christmas lights hang over the bar and neon signs and posters hang randomly on the walls... several big screen TVs are positioned behind the bar and one one of the dining area walls. Very laid back attitude. Place was packed with locals waiting for the UK game to start. Plenty of tables and comfortable chairs in the dining area and the bar has comfortable stools to encourage their patrons to stay awhile. Talk about making one feel welcome. If I lived here, I'd definitely frequent the place!

Hand packed cheeseburger with all the toppings. Crispy onion rings. Cold beer. Perfect lunch for the perfect day! And cheap! The owner was working the bar and had us laughing the whole time. Definitely a place to go back to!

We came here for our son's basketball game...the service was great and what a cool spot. The owner Mike was very friendly and the atmosphere was very homey. I love the small town vibe and love visiting real restaurants everywhere we go. Great burger, onion rings and cheese sticks. We will definitely come back next time we come to a game! Thanks Taylor family!

Sorry to say Ed passed on. He was the archetect of the "grungy, but delicious -- and inexpensive" motif. The wonderful news is that Mike and his brother Chuck have taken over. Some of the "charm" is gone -- they have scrubbed the place top-to-bottom and installed new clean restrooms. The floors are still crooked and the exterior is deceiving, but the prices are still from the 1990's and the staff has risen with the pride of the new ownership.

The place is small and welcoming, has a dance floor and what seemed to be arcade games. I ordered the three stack pancakes, very delicious. Wasn't expensive, worth the time and money. Service was fast and friendly.
