Yelp Cooper's HawkWe have greatly enjoyed our many visits to Cooper's Hawk over the years, and applaud this restaurant for adding to the quality of Centerville restaurants.The menu is conservative and pricey for the offerings. Menu is getting tired - suggest new options.Service is always excellent, including the wine tasting. Ivory was doing her best, but seemed overwhelmed with diners.... Perhaps more training....The setting near a Centerville park is great as is the ambience.We visited prior to Christmas, and Cooper's Hawk is busy. A bar window booth brings in the outdoors, and satisfies our need to day to explore the menu.Elected the burgers, and very good. I had salad, and my son insisted on fries.We recommend.

This was our day after Valentine's Day lunch and our first time at Cooper's Hawk. We had a reservation and seating was quick in a very nice comfortable booth. Our server was excellent. We ordered the arancini appetizer and we both had pasta entrees. Everything was delicious. I did prefer the sauce that came with the arancini balls over the one used in my entree. We were there during brunch so we had a pitcher of Sangria. It was good but the fruit was lost in the ice cubes. Prices are not cheap. Portions are good for your meal with no leftovers.

Great experience for our first time for their weekend brunch! I enjoyed the gnocchi breakfast meal with coffee! I would highly suggest their brunch for something different. They have great prices for mimosas although I did not try.

Went for the brunch it's a select menu tried the brisket hash pretty good the mimosa was good and my fav is the almond sparkling wine server was nice my niece had a filet and the temperature was not right and instead of the manager trying to accommodate how she wanted her filet he told her what it was needless to say to steak is not there specialty

Unfortunately, my recent visit for a family birthday party wasn't the most satisfying culinary experienceWhile the day wasn't a complete letdown, thanks to the enjoyable tasting room. The bartenders were knowledgeable and very courteousGetting in and seated was a breeze, and the drinks were delicious. The egg rolls, potstickers, and calamari were probably the highlight of the dayThe braised short ribs and risotto were good, the pistachio crusted grouper was good, the scallops were a bit on the tough side but reasonableHowever, when it came to the kitchen's understanding of what medium rare, medium, and medium well should be, it was a different story.I ordered a medium rare steak that came out well done, and another family member asked for a medium well that came out completely rare. Both of us had to have our steaks cooked twice, and even then, they still weren't rightThe manager attempted to make things better by giving us two truffles, which were very rich and not to my liking. I would have preferred a different type of compensation. I usually leave 5-star reviews, but this one deserved a 4-star rating because the kitchen staff didn't get the steak temperatures right. Given the prices here, they should be able to nail the basics

Coopers Hawk is a great option if you are looking for a middle ground between super casual steakhouse and a super fancy steakhouse. Great in between! Service was a little slow, but the waiter did mention that the bar and kitchen were backed up at times. Dishes are pricey, and it's overall been hit or miss most times that we go for dinner in regards to quality of the dishes. The egg rolls might be one of my favorite things on the menu and we order them every time without question. So good and flavorful! The tuna was not the best quality. Steak wasn't cooked quite to the temperature. Was supposed to be an 8 oz filet, but it was smaller than that. The broccoli was barely cooked so it was extremely hard still. The shredded potatoes seemed a little undercooked, as well - tasted like we were just eating a milky/creamy soup that lacked much flavor or shredded potatoes within. We've had great experiences at Cooper's Hawk in the past, but most are roughly as explained above.

Top dining experience in Dayton greater metropolitan area Ambiance is easily one of the ~ finest ~ I've been to. The service was super friendly. The food is delicious, and you get large portion sizes too which is a huge bonus. Overall, it's a lovely place for any nice occasion.Disclaimer: didn't do the wine bar per but that looked awesome too!

We have been twice and I just feel Cooper's Hawk doesn't hit the heights you'd be looking for as a restaurant compared to the wine options. We tried varied dishes and appetizers and it just eclipse similar restaurants like a BJs or Cheesecake Factory. The wine options are obviously impressive, but the rest of the experience is just average. Looking at the length of the menu, it doesn't inspire confidence in any single "marquee" dish. Atmosphere is busy, service alright.For the price, I'd choose other options.

My entire experience last night was awesome! The food was delicious, the bread was out of this world, and our server was the best! I've been there before but felt like everything was perfect last night. We had no wait and were seated at a comfortable booth. My chicken piccata was awesome! The portion was large which allowed me to take some home for lunch today. Thanks goes out to our server. I think his name was Christopher (40067).
