Cookie Jar Bakery has been a treasure to our family. Not only are the cakes, rolls, donuts, cookies etc. supreme, but the personal touch of a small business is the best. From their Turkey shaped and Santa shaped rolls that we order for the holidays to our most favorite pastries: cookie jar roll and cinnamon rolls, we are so thankful for Cookie Jar bakery in Newport!

Great bakery open 3am - 3pm!!! Gotta be honest, driving down street and came upon "another" so called "bakery" that didn't open till 9am... come on.. 9am for a bakery? That's like a drive in movie theater only open at noon till 3... come on!!! I drove a little further and glad I did!!! Cookie Jar was awesome!! Bought way more than I should but everything looked great (and tasted great too!) So, my best advice, skip past the 'others' and get to the BEST! Cookie Jar!!

This 3rd generation donut shop and bakery is no frills and simple thrills. If your looking for the classics cooked right you have come to the right place. Open at 3 a.m. this O.G. Donut shop does it right. Since the loss of Bonomini Bakery in Northside, the Cookie Jar Bakery is now the best donut shop in Cincinnati IMHO.

Stay away. I had them make cookies for an event. Looked like a 6 year old decorated them. I ordered 5 dozen- 2.5 dozen in the shape of Kentucky and they looked more like genitalia. I contacted the owner and received no response. Very embarrassed and will never recommend this place!

I go here for the most deelicious Almond Filled Coffee Cake this side of the Ohio River the inside is soft and moist, the icing on top is divine

Best cookies I've ever had- that side of the Ohio River!! I live in southern Michigan!! Great customer service. Cute and Quaint little shop.

We love the cookie jar, bakery! Whenever you stop in for donuts or pastries, they always make you feel like you're walking into grandma's kitchen.

Amazing sweets. Highly recommend you drop by this old school bakery. You won't get this in the Kroger or Dunkin'

Amazing! This place has some of the best donuts i've had. Basic and fresh it's just a simple nice delicious donut.

Picked up cake today and has a crack in icing .. she said it could be easily fixed with a butter knife
