Come N Git It

Since it has been over 5 years since my last review here, it is time for an update. I am posting new photos of the menu as well since it has changed considerably. The dining room still looks the same to me. A local restaurant where you sit where you would like upon arrival. The special today was Kinda Mini Tenderloin sandwich with one side. I went with the Cod fish minus the bun and Onion Straws. Service was good. A menu was brought right away plus my drink order was taken. My food order was taken right away and my drink was delivered. My food was delivered soon after and all was delicious and well cooked. The check was put on the table before I finished so I could leave as quickly as I wished.

Food and service is what makes this place 5 star. Simple, delicious food reminiscent of a downtown diner. Cluttered decor but very clean. Worth the stop!

Charming little restaurant with incredibly delicious French toast. Staff was very friendly, service was super fast! My wife and I really enjoyed our time here.

Their breakfast is our favorite in town and go hungry because the portions are huge! Such a cute little small town restaurant on the square and the staff is always very friendly!

We eat here weekly! The owner and staff are like family to us at this point. The food is always great. It's NEVER hit or miss. The hardest part is deciding what to order... because we love it all!

Breaded Pork Tenderloin was 9.5 Come N Git It! Martinsville in Very Good for $12.95 with choice of side.I suggest their Come N Git It Ribbon's Home made fries get the seasoning.

Move-in weekend for the IU students in Bloomington, so we wanted to have breakfast out of town to avoid the crowds. Yelp led us to Martinsville and we are happy it did. Come N Git It is located on a corner of the square in Martinsville. Plenty of street parking is available. We walked in and there was a sign that said to wait to be seated. The place was crowded with locals, and most of the Martinsville fire department was there having breakfast. A VERY good sign. We were seated right away and our coffee order arrived quickly. Nice sized menu with plenty of choices. The coffee was hot and fresh and our server brought us plenty of cream. We ordered bacon, eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy and a pancake. The food was ready pretty quickly, especially considering how crowded the place was getting. Huge plates of delicious food. Really enjoyed the hash browns and the eggs look like they are farm fresh, with beautiful yolks. The biscuits were tender and fluffy, the bacon was crisp exactly how I ordered it. The owner, Jackie, came around to check in with everyone. She loves what she is doing and it shows through the service and the food. Very affordable, I think it was about $15 for each of us. Very happy to have found a great, local, woman-owned spot near our home. You should definitely check it out.

Very good could use more on the menu. Service is good to and friendly. Really nice ambience.
