Never been to a rock gym with so many odd rules. Weird atmosphere/vibe too. I'll pass on going back.

This is a great gym. It's beginner- and family-friendly, but still offers challenging routes for more experienced climbers. The staff is helpful and the other patrons are often willing to belay if you ask.

This is by far my favorite climbing gym. It's bright, open, clean, and very well laid out. The staff has handled COVID protocol brilliantly with the system they created. The ownership has deep deep roots in the local climbing community as the owners of Climb Time of Blue Ash. The routes and bouldering problems are labeled using a grading system to indicate the level of difficulty. There's an awesome variety of each grade, of which I'm taking full advantage as I get back into shape after having my third child. Since the walls and holds are brand new, everything is super grippy which is a fun bonus. They have a well stocked gear shop and expertly informed staff so buying my last pair of climbing shoes from them was a breeze. It didn't take long for me to decide to buy a monthly membership and now I basically live there, just like I did in my teens and twenties at the old school CToB.

Just joined because it's really the only climbing gym in the area. So far I'm really not liking it. Bouldering: In terms of bouldering, the routes are difficult, which is fine, but the wall is also sand paper so you'll get scrapes if you're pushing yourself. Additionally the routes are ridiculously condensed which both makes it easy to bang your hand or knee going for power moves and makes it confusing to tell which rocks are in each route. Top Rope: I've only used auto-belay because I just moved here and don't have any climbing partners. Given how difficult the bouldering routes are, it's crazy how easy the top rope routes are graded. Most people seem to come to this place in groups and I assume that the regular top-route and lead routes are graded more difficult. If so I'll update my rating later.Overall, my biggest problem is the vibe. I came from a very friendly and supportive bouldering gym in Cleveland (shoutout Nosotros) and this place does not compare. It's expensive and super corporatized. Hopefully, I meet some nicer people soon, but at the moment there is just something off about this place that I don't think reflects the climbing community as a whole.

This is one of the best gyms I've visited. Props to the owner, Patti, for attention to detail, setting reasonable policies, and creating a welcoming environment! I climb V7/8 and 5.12, and was just in town for a month. They were able to let me purchase a membership for a month, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Shout out to Jason and Brent, just a few of the friendly and professional staff I encountered. Besides great boulder problems, autobelays, and top ropes (including crack climbing), the gym boasts a tension board, campus boards, and a modest workout area with assorted equipment. I found myself pleasantly surprised by the decor, the music, and the bathrooms. I would totally recommend this gym to anyone in the area.

Been bouldering here since they opened and at most of the gyms in Cinci for the last decade (there about five gyms in town). Overall still has that new clean vibe (including highly textured walls) but but can definitely break a sweat if that is your goal. A large variety of holds and different styles of climbing at the gym keeps it interesting. While the Oakley location is much more all around climbing than Blue Ash the atmosphere and people are about the same. Always willing to help (if you ask), quick with encouragement and more than willing to joke around during the down time. The addition of the new tension board and the frequent updates and variety of routes shows that they are committed to a good experience

Good, challenging routes. Plenty of auto-belays for solo climbers. A little expensive, for monthly memberships, but it is a nice gym.
