Clifton Natural Foods

Clifton Natural Foods is an excellent place for grocery shopping. The food is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing.

Clifton Natural Foods is a small store but has a big selection of organic food. It isn't much more expensive than a regular grocery store. This has the features of the usual health store. It has pour your own granola. There's also a good amount of fresh produce. I like getting groceries from these places instead of the chains. It's important to support local businesses and farmers. The food isn't all expensive like many organic food stores. It's about the same as going to Kroger. There's good deals on many items so you're able to save a lot. In the market you can find many local items. It also has fresh made food. The store looks pretty clean and not dusty like many health markets.

This store is amazing! If you live in the Clifton area, stop driving across town to get your healthy groceries! This store has basically every item I would typically buy in the "Nature's Market" section of Kroger. Some of their prices are a little higher - DUH because corporations pay less for their products to sell to you. However, when you find sales, they'll save you money. They may not have fuel points, but think of the fuel you'll save by walking to the store instead of driving 2-10 miles for milk? They also offer local items like roasted coffee beans, baked goods, fresh fruit, etc.

Clifton Natural Foods offers most grocery items and household goods needed as well as a wide variety of supplements.The isles are a bit narrow but the selves are jam packed with healthier options and local options. They may not have every fruit and veggie in stock but thy generally have a good variety. The have boutique breads and other local items like Hen of the Woods chips.Expiration dating is generally very good and the staff are helpful. Things run more expensive here but that can be expected with a small business.

A wonderful addition to the Ludlow/Clifton Gaslight area. A health conscious, neighborhood friendly, small grocery that has filled a serious need after we lost our grocery store. They have high quality unique items for those of us concerned with what we are eating. They offer local products when available and will special order something not in stock. I was able to order a box of beet juice at a slight discount and it was cheaper than I could find anywhere online. The prices are maybe a bit higher than at a big box grocery but they don't have the service and calm atmosphere.

Clifton Natural Foods is a small store and it definitely doesn't replace a full-service grocery store, but it has a really great selection of organic food and is a really great supplement to wherever you normally buy groceries. It's super great if you care about eating organic or just have a gluten-free or dairy-free need.

They were knowledgeable and easy to communicate with regarding spices. They accommodated me with smaller portions that I was trying out and not certain I would like!Great place for natural spices!

And many fresh herbs and spices that you can buy fresh often because you can buy them in any amount you want! And bulk teas as well! And In addition to the dairy ice creams they have nondairy ice creams that are delicious (from Sweden I think)!

At a time when stores should be following appropriate practices this store failed horribly today! I called up to find Elderberry Syrup for my 95 year old mother that is in an Assisted Living Community. I spoke to the male clerk and he said that there were 4 bottles of Elderberry Syrup that they just got in today. So I jumped in my car and drove especially to the store to purchase a bottle to help boost the immune system of my aging mother.After driving 20 minutes I walked into the store, and having known that I was coming in the store they sold the only 4 bottles of Elderberry Syrup to one customer right before I got. And the clerk knew that I was also coming in to purchase a bottle. The women behind the counter said if I had known that you were coming in... I said that I had told the male clerk I was coming to the store.Shame on you!!! Knowing that this product was in short supply you sell all that you had (4 bottles) to one customer!! :-(

I'm so glad I found this store. I have been going weekly for years now. They carry a lot of health type foods that are hard to find other places. The owners are lovely, friendly people as well which is a nice thing. It's always a pleasure shopping there. I highly recommend it.
