Clean Eatz - Newport

Food was surprisingly really good! The service was average for a counter order, but the guy was nice. Ambiance was nice and clean. I'll come back and may even order some of their frozen meals.

My wife was right across the street when she was wanting a quick meal to bring home. She grabbed a kale & quinoa bowl with some veggies, chicken, and thai peanut sauce. I got the chicken pesto wrap, which came with a side of mac and cheese.The protein bowls come in small, medium, and large, but when my wife asked what the portion difference was, they said the only difference was +2 ounces of protein for each size increase, which seems strange that you get the same amount of your base, veggies, and sauce whether you get a small or a large.As for the flavor... I think they forgot to add it. The pesto wrap smelled of pesto, but was almost completely bland, with just a taste of greens and the driest chicken I've ever had; not a hint of seasoning in there. The mac and cheese was just as bad, with extremely overcooked penne and a queso blanco that would have been better if it came out of a jar from Aldi. My wife's dish was the same, flavorless and boring.I thought about giving 2 stars, as usually I reserve 1-star reviews for the worst of the worst, but I think this qualifies as it was entirely devoid of seasoning, which is not only a sin, but flavor is the main reason I'm ordering from a restaurant in the first place. If it was purely for convenience, I would have microwaved a hot pocket.

Absolutely love the frozen meals, but avoid the fresh café food as it takes them 10 to 15 minutes to make it every time and I'm thoroughly convinced that they are just reheating it from frozen. You can't change the way the salmon is cooked (always overdone) and last time I got a café bowl, some of my quinoa was still frozen. Just take home a frozen meal and heat it up yourself! Alsp their protein powder contains sucralose which I wouldn't think is "clean eating"

My husband and I have recently started eating healthier, specifically focusing on our macros. We picked up lunch and a dinner from here. For lunch we both had wraps with a side of fruit. The wrap was good, but nothing phenomenal. For our dinner option later in the week we picked out two of their frozen grab and go options. Both meals came in a plastic container with microwave reheating directions. We chose the chicken teriyaki, rice, with spring rolls and the lobster mac and cheese. We chose to reheat the spring rolls in the air fryer, which gave them a nice crisp. Both of the meals were good, and for the simplicity factor and the fact that it meets our macro goals we will do this option again.

I took my first visit to clean eats on Saturday and I'm so glad I did! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the massive refrigerators with frozen meals. These are already prepped and all you have to do is cook them. I browsed the selection and they had some really great option for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I initially thought that Clean Eatz was just prepared meals that you take to go-I was wrong! You are also able to order a variety of bowls, wraps, flatbreads and smoothies that they will make for you on the spot. The staff was friendly and helpful as we ordered. My sister and I decided to go with the Buffalo chicken wrap and sweet potato fries. It was delicious! I grabbed a pamphlet on the way out to check out the meal plan pricing and was pleasant surprised. I have used a meal plan websites like Hello Fresh, but what I like about Clean Eatz is the meals are already prepped, you just heat them up. Great idea for lunches for a busy week! I look forward to coming back and trying some of the frozen meals, as well as other items on the menu.

Clean Eatz is my absolute go to for healthy eating. I have one of their grab and go meals every evening that I eat at home. I couldn't ask for better food!

I've always ordered their meal prepped meals online and didn't realize they had an actual restaurant that opened up in July! I ordered the black bean burger, im not even vegetarian and absolutely loved it! If your looking to eat clean this is your place. The staff was friendly and the place is super nice. Food wasn't too expensive considering it's healthy for you! The meal prepped meals are actually cheaper here then ordering online I believe, probably because you are getting it directly from the source. I will def be back!

Love this place! Finally a place with healthy options. Very friendly staff that was so kind to explain how their business works and what's on the menu. I ordered a bowl and a smoothie that was delicious and the best part was that I could take home healthy meals to eat later. They have a bunch of meals prepped and frozen for only $6.99. You can't beat that!

J at clean eatz newport is amazing! if these bowls go away i'll be devastated, they have quickly become part of my routine. i cannot get enough they are so incredible delicious. you can tell he takes his time and he cares about the quality of this food. 10/10

I was actually very impressed with how good the food was but wasn't a fan for too long sadly. I found a long blonde hair frozen in my food & I'm a brunette. The first time I didn't care much because accidents happen but then it happened a second time so I'm no longer a fan. I truly hope that they are having the people that are preparing the food wear hair nets because that's gross.
