Cinco De Mayo

This is a great spot for lunch! Delicious Mexican food and the two of us ate for around $20! The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend eating here.

You will find this spot off of 135. This is your typical Mexican food restaurant with the complimentary chips and salsa, nice margaritas and colorful decorations. The restaurant has a full bar with seating, a decent sized dining room, and a patio area with seating. There is an adequate sized privater parking lot.The restaurant has a wide range of menu items including burritos, tacos, salads, chimichanga's and fajitas. The salsa that comes with the chips that they give you is thick and has a bit of a kick like I like it. I ended up ordering the El Cinco Steak, with a side of fries. It took me a while to decided because the menu has a lot to sort through. The food was prepared very fast. I would say about 5 minutes and it came of hot and fresh.Normally I am a fan of Mexican steak, but not in the case. The steak was watery and really did not have much flavor to it. As far as the fries go, fries are fries. They were good, but it is hard to mess them up.The service was decent. My server was friendly enough. The food is very reasonably priced though. A 3 star rating means that the place is ok and that is a perfect description of this restaurant. Compared to many of the other Mexican restaurants that I have visited, this was the middle of the pack.

We really like this place! The food and customer service have always been great each time we have went! This time the margarita was probably one of the strongest I've had in awhile but the taste was still great! We will keep going back for sure!!

Cinco De Mayo hit the spot! This new restaurant is cute, vibrant and clean. The service and food were both fantastic we will definitely be back. The queso and arroz con carne are delicious. The food came out quickly and the waitress was super sweet! 5/5 recommend you trying this restaurant. :) Cheers!

The best guacamole I have had in years! Chips and salsa were perfect as well. I can't wait to come back for an actual meal, excellent service.THANK YOU!!

Great new Mexican place!I had the Arroz con Pollo (chicken and rice) and it was perfection; tender grilled chicken pieces served over rice with queso poured over the top. A simple dish that is fantastic when done right.Had to have a few ice cold beers as well. Served with a chilled glass.The décor of the place is nice as well - mixing elements of old an Mexican joint with brightly colored murals and rustic booths. All in all, a very nice, clean restaurant with good food and great service. Wish we had a place like this in our home town.

Mediocre... large portions.. stale chips. Strong Texas margarita. I remember this place better during my last visit about 6 months ago. Dirty lampshade makes me wonder what else is not maintained. Maybe just an off night.

Food was not good, it was burnt, and flavor was not all good oh and expensive. I would not recommend This is not authentic

I stopped by recently because of the reviews wanting some good Mexican food. Unfortunately, this establishment will not be on repeat visits for me. The platter of refried beans were served cold. The shredded beef enchilada was also cold and the meat was stringy and tough--very much so that I could not eat it. The taco shell on my ground beef taco was not crisp and warm but tasted stale. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. Service also once I ordered the food was very slow which may explain why the food was cold. As far as ambience goes they do have an attractive restaurant but what you really go for is great food and it is not.

Stopped in after the lunch rush at around 1 o'clock. I ordered a horchata and asked her to please do not sprinkle on any more cinnamon on the top, she said we don't do that, it's premade and we just pour it in the glass and I said ok, some places sprinkle cinnamon all over the top of it and I don't want that and she said she wouldn't. And then she delivered me a horchata with cinnamon sprinkled ALL OVER THE TOP! WTF! The salsa was bland and had no real spice, it was kind of sad. I ordered the Al pastor taco meal. Sadly, they don't put in the extra time to do the Al pastor the correct way, on a spit, however they did put actual pineapple in theirs, some places leave it out. Again, sadly, it was so bland and dry that not even the pineapple helped. Too many good Mexican restaurants to go to, I won't be back.
