Bringing people together for nearly ninety years. Whether you go to the Taft, the Scottish Rite Auditorium or Ballroom at the Taft, Founder's Hall or any other place in the building's 350,000 square feet, you will be transported to a bygone era of beauty and architecture. Are parts of it dated? Absolutely: just adds to the building's endearing charm! Parts of the building are available for rental for that special occasion.

What a beautiful old building. I have had a chance to attend a couple of meeting in the Masonic Temple and taken a tour afterward. It has seem to be such a secretive place for so long it is nice that it is opening up more for outside events. There are a variety of rooms for meetings and receptions. There is even a chapel. There are also 2 auditoriums, which will be used for the world choir games. It has such a historical old world feel inside the place, older than the building is. For the world choir games, besides some of the newer theatre's it is great that we do have some older (although still young by most of the world standards) auditoriums to show off. If you get a chance to visit the masonic temple, try to see if you can get a tour, it is well worth the visit and an option for a special event or a work meeting, it you want something that is different and full of history.

I literally do not have the time or energy to write a review about the astonishing architect this place has hidden on the inside because it would take hours, it is breathtaking. I have had the absolute pleasure of taking a private tour in this building and it is almost to much to take in. The building is not the reason I am writing this particular review, it is to rave about the Halloween Gala that has taken place three years and running! I have been present all three years and all three years I have had more than a fun time. Coincidence? I think not. The event is hosted by the Masons to raise money for the Dyslexia Center of Cincinnati, How nice of them, right? The events beer has been provided by Rhinegeist(YUM!) the last three years among other wineries and distilleries, The local band The Naked Karate Girls have performed all three years and have done an amazing job. They do a horsd'oeurves (appetizer) competition provided by the talented future chefs from Cincinnati State which are always lovely. Every year they have something different going on so its a must attend, A great event for a great cause.
