I wasn't a fan of this take out Chinese restaurant. It's the typical Chinese restaurant that's in every town across America with the same menu. In my opinion, it's low quality Chinese food. I'd much rather got to a sit down Chinese restaurant, get handed a menu, and be waited one. The quality of food at a sit down Chinese restaurant is so much better, fresher, and tastier.

The food is always great every time I go. The the two who take your order are always super nice. The guy is very polite and always tells me with a smile "10 minute". This time I chose to call ahead cause I had a few other stops I had to make and he politely told me "It be 10-20 minute." (Which was good for me cause it allowed me to make the few other stops that I needed to do. I wasn't even paying attention to the time and as I came out of Kroger I received a phone call from someone I didn't recognize (which I normally don't answer). However it did say that it was from Shelbyville, IN, so I decided to answer and sure enough it was him. He was calling to make sure that I was still coming to get it to which I told him that I was on my way and walking out of Kroger now. I walked in and began to apologetically mention why I was late and he seemed happy to me. I paid my bill and wrote down the tip and was doing the mathematics. He corrected me before I left where my math wasn't mathing and we finally figured out the correct total. We said our parting greetings and I went on about my way. He's such a nice man.

Wonderful food and usually quickly made. I love their shrimp appetizer and crab. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed

I love the whole China Wok experience. It's a small shop, with limited seating, so it feels more intimate. The employees are all friendly, and the service is fast. There are hundreds of choices on the menu, including rices, stir-frys, lo-mein, soups and more, all made to order. During lunch hours, you can get a tray with your choice of stir fry and rice for a great price. Or you can order items in family portions.I've found myself ordering a large chicken fried rice for takeout a few times a week. It's addictive. I also like the snow pea chicken, and chicken & broccoli. The wonton soup is great, and really helps an upset stomach. And the crab rangoon is bomb diggity.Definitely a great place for Chinese, with a large menu, quick service, and a good price.

Good Chinese take out at this China Wok. We have ordered here many times and have not been disappointed. This particular week had been especially busy for us and we didn't feel like dining out, but also didn't want to have to cook, so this was a perfect option for us. Order ahead, give them 15 minutes, and when I arrived, our dinner was ready. On one particular occasion when I got home with our food, we found they had given us an order of a Crab Rangoon, (which we had not ordered and were not charged for). I'm not sure if this was a promotional thing or if we got it by mistake. In any case, we ate it and it was very good. It also came with a cup of sweet n sour sauce for dipping. The wonton portion was fried perfectly and the filling was very tasty, not too sweet and you could see the crabmeat in the filling. We will definitely order this 6 piece appetizer in our future orders!We enjoy the Orange Beef dish, which has a sweet sauce coated on the pieces of crispy beef. There are a few pieces of real orange peel, along with a small amount of broccoli in this dish. This comes with a side of white rice, which compliments this dish. We also like the Chicken Chow Mein, which has quite a few onions in it (if you like onions) and some celery. The food is always hot and is pretty reasonable in price. One thing that we appreciate are the nice register receipts we get providing all details related to the transaction. The detail makes it easy to quickly make sure the order was taken correctly.Note they are closed on Sunday's. Very good food. Wonderful staff. Love to treat you like family. Great atmosphere and staff is very outgoing.

Pedí un arroz con carne y camarones y traía era 2 camarones y tiritas de carne pero muy pocas casi nada o sea me vendieron puro arroz

No soy sauce , mustard for egg rolls, the crab Rangoon tasted like crispy rice noodles. I played "here piggy, piggy "with the ' pork' fried rice . Couldn't find even one little bitty piggy piece of pork! General Toa's was as hot as the rising sun. The price was 7 bucks more than the price on the website. But, the egg roll was fine. 1 for 5 equals 20%. Not very good success even for a minor leaguer.

Whenever I want Chinese food, this is the place I go. China Wok is (in my opinion) the best Chinese food restaurant in Shelbyville. It's super quick, you can call and order for pick up, and they will have it done in about 15 minutes. Best egg rolls and crab rangoon!
