China East Chinese Restaurant

The celery to chicken ratio on this Manderin chicken dish is way off (yes this is an actual pic). Ordered Schezwan chicken last time with the same result. Like celery but not this much.

China East use to be my favorite go to Chinese place! Something has changed though, it's not the same. Especially the crab Rangoon's (which I use to think were the best). I have heard that they have no new owners and if that's case it's noticeable).

Really great takeout, I was pleasantly surprised! Even better than other places I've had in the general area.

Eh....it was edible. Was there for lunch, I love Chinese food but they didn't ave the selection I'm used to for a buffet. Maybe it will be better another day ‍

DONT LET THE HATERS INFLUENCE YOU! I found this place during the Corona PLANdemic and their Mongolian Beef is the best I've ever had. Seriously...the best. Service is quick and accurate and I have eaten here half a dozen times or so since. It has even become my wife's go to spot for Chinese take out( she is addicted to their crab rangoon I think) I miss my people at the other place but the stomach gets what the stomach wants.

This used to be my favorite place to eat! I loved it! Best Chinese in town! But not anymore! The last time I went was probably a year ago and I haven't been back since and probably won't go back. The food was gross, cold, and old. The place looked dirty and gross. Just not the same.

Good Buffet if you're into buffets but it's not the best food the quality has gone down. There isn't any Service beause it's a buffet. But it is a realy cool interior.

This place is absolutely horrible and honestly should be shut down. It used to be really good prior to Covid. It's never been the same since and I can say with confidence, I will never come back here again. The food is absolutely horrendous. Nothing tastes as it should. The meat is hard and dry or watery in flavor. The best thing on the buffet was the lo mein noodles. Everything else had a really off flavor about it or it was 1000% overcooked. I never got a refill while I was there and I waited 20 minutes for them to bring me a check and they never did. The overall ambience is nice in the restaurant. Areas around the ice cream and drink station are dirty. I did myself a favor and stuck my finger in my mouth and threw up in the parking lot. Do yourselves a favor and head 10 miles north, and go to Hong Kong Buffet in Sidney. That place is awesome.

Should change their name to the Food Poison Palace. Another good place gone bad. Before Covid hit it was a decent buffet and good value. Stopped there last Wed. about 4pm. HORRIBLE!!!! There were just 2 other tables besides us and almost everything on the buffet was old, crusted over and nasty. The few meat items looked old and dried up. We tried to stick to the few dishes that looked somewhat fresh. The egg rolls weren't bad but the one dish with the mushrooms that I've always enjoyed smelled sour. It's obvious the higher meat and seafood prices have really affected the choices on the buffet. We quit after one trip to the buffet. The wife wanted some ice-cream but she said it didn't look the best. By the time we drove back to Troy the wife wasn't feeling good and made a dash to the bathroom and threw up. I never did vomit but probably would have felt better if I had. Had sharp stomach pangs for the next day. Would have given them zero stars if it was available. Avoid this place if you value your health.

We celebrated a birthday at the restaurant Saturday, the food was terrific and I will come from Lima again just to eat, the employees were so helpful and right on the table to keep it clean, if it was in Lima I'm sure we would eat there a least once every two weeks! We all loved it! The food was quality and everything was perfect - keep up the good work!
