I have lived a block from this restaurant for 13 ish years, and they NEVER disappoint. The food, classic American Chinese, is always hot and freshly prepared, and the family who owns and operates here are kind, hardworking people who have lived here in town for ages. My go to order if I'm craving fried food is sweet and sour pork with crab rangoon and an egg roll. If I want a normal, balanced meal, I often go for vegetable lo mein, or chicken Mei fun. My mom is vegetarian, and they have a "diet" meal of steamed veggies, she orders sauce on the side because it's made with fish sauce... But it's just a quart of still crisp, hot, steamed veggies, and it's SO good. My only suggestion is to swap out the plain white rice that comes with most orders, and ask for pork fried rice. Their fried rice is the best out of all the nearby Chinese places!They are 100% the best rural Chinese spot in the county. Better by leaps and bounds than Brookville, and I would say a smidgen better than Germantown. There is no longer the option to dine in since Covid, but no one really did that much before the pandemic. I will echo a past review and urge you to be patient with their English when they answer, make sure they got it correct, but you will NOT be disappointed!

I've loved this restaurant since it opened over a decade ago, instantly expanding the food choices in New Lebanon exponentially. Their sesame chicken is my favorite, usually fried to a perfect crisp and covered in a candy-sweet red sauce before getting dusted with sesame seeds.Their crab rangoon and hot and sour soup are welcome additions to anything I order. I've only eaten in once and I get the feeling the dining room is largely unused; everyone just gets takeout instead.Occasionally they'll have an off night and things aren't fried well, but that's rare. Don't come expecting experimental dishes and exotic flavors: this is classic Americanized Chinese food.Be patient with them on the phone and confirm your order at the end. Not every member of the family speaks excellent English, but they can all cook up a storm.Service is usually quick! If you walk in and order, you'll only wind up waiting about 15 minutes.Their prices are more than fair, and I feel lucky to have this restaurant in New Lebanon.

Excellent food, affordable prices, fantastic service. You get the satisfaction of supporting a mom and pop shop instead of a corporate machine.

Got the General Tso's, sauce tasted like ketchup and chicken was extremely overcooked. Do not recommend.

Not super attractive on the outside...but the inside is clean and the food is delicious! I also keep going back because I am always warmly greeted and the service is excellent.

I don't think they change their cooking oil frequently enough. Everything has the same unnatural flavor. I will never go back which is disappointing.

this place is horrible. the food was inedible, and they refused to give a refund, even though we said we'd give it all back. if i could put 0 stars i would. i will never eat here again

This Chinese restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. The food smells, and tastes fantastic! I live by two China dragon restaurants, but this one is definitely my favorite. It has the better quality of the two, and the prices are more than fair for tasty Chinese cuisine, so I definitely recommend it.

This family makes great food really fast and always delicious. I've gotten carry out several times. Substitutions don't seem to be a problem. Nice little gem in New Lebanon. Having tried almost every chinese restaurant in the area I keep going back here. If you walk in you can leave in 10-15 minutes with your order.
