China Dragon

A hidden spot in the backwater town of Blanchester. China Dragon is the only reason to be here. It doesn't get anywhere better to eat in town. Has all the usual favorites. There's dine in but most customers get takeout. Basically there isn't in much around here of food or culture. It seems like the only Chinese place for miles. This isn't even that good but it's much better than anything else to eat in town. Has some vegetarian choices. These probably are the healthiest things you can eat around here. I have tried the Homestyle Bean Curd. It's about $6 for the lunch portion. This comes with mostly broccoli for vegetables. It's not as bad as it could be. There's a decent amount and it's a good price. If you're in Blanchester this is where you have to eat. Just avoid everything else around here This is good to get takeout.

While it may not be much to look at on the outside, it's a true Blanchester gem. The Happy Family is my favorite dish!

Had the sesame chicken and leftover beef lo mein the following evening. Authentic and delicious Chinese. I'd give them 5 Stars, and I know from TikTok that the best Chinese restaurants average "3.5", so I don't want to mess with the formula. Enjoy !!!

My third visit yesterday, Sunday and each time I had a different dish, and they went far beyond what I started eating over fifty years ago in another city and State. My taste for Chinese faire has only improved over time! This place exceeds my expectations for the dishes and considering the size of the town and location; this is surprising. So enjoy this treat and invite friends, neighbors and relatives to prevent it from closing!

I really don't like slamming any business, especially restaurants at this time, but this was a serious situation. I got some carry out for lunch last week from this place and had it for lunch. My stomach started hurting by about 6:00 that evening. By 6:30 the next morning, I was in some of the worst pain I have ever experienced! I had nausea, diarrhea, and severe stomach cramps. By 7:00, I was vomiting and by 11:00 am, I was in the ER! The alleged culprit was food poisoning and the type I had is known as 'fried rice syndrome' and comes from improperly handled rice.Now a disclaimer here: The food was not tested as I had put it down my garbage disposal and thrown the container out, but this doesn't come from oatmeal and that was all I had before I ate the alleged offending food!I would give it no stars or negative stars if possible! Avoid this place if at all possible! Your stomach will thank you!

This restaurant used to serve the best Chinese fast food in the area- but I think it's under new ownership and has gone downhill.The usual staff hasn't been there, and the tables & chairs are mismatched & beat up. The food has become solidly mediocre, as well. Our last couple orders of General Tso's chicken were overcooked & tough; and the pork fried rice- instead of being fluffy & golden with vegetables & scraps of BBQ pork, is now greasy, not golden; with few veg and no pork to speak of.We will be going elsewhere- just not sure where yet.

I have had A LOT of Chinese and Asian cuisine in general, and this restaurant is #1 on my list! Their General Tso chicken is the BEST I've ever had! All food is cooked to order and comes out piping hot. The portions are big and inexpensive. They also have a lot to choose from on their menu (Look at their printed menu). I live locally so I tend to order from here every month or so, and they have never messed up my family's order. Some of my family's favorites that I can personally vouch for are the crab rangoons, fried sweet biscuits, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, and lo mein. We have tried other meals (they are good too) but these tend to be our favorites. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I love this place. We tried it when we moved relatively closer to it. We fell in love and ordered it a couple times a month. Whenever we had a craving for Chinese food, this is where we went. They closed down recently, and I really need them to come back. The place in goshen, and the place in amelia, nor the buffet in Milford or the buffet in East gate, and definitely not the buffet in Hillsboro, have absolutely anything on this little spot. We have not eaten Chinese since they closed.

The food was good and hot . The disposition cold . They hurry your ordering and offer the soy & mustard sauce like it's literally going out of style .
