China Cottage Trotwood

This is my typical go to for Chinese cuisine. They are always quick, fresh and very nice. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice, the chicken lo mein and an order of crab Rangoon and everything came out within 20 mins.All my food was fresh and prepared very well. I am happy about my experience and will return for take out.

My wife and I recently visited China Cottage on a random Friday night. The inviting atmosphere set the tone for a quiet night. We started with Crab Rangoon, which was crispy and creamy, matched with sweet and sour sauceFor our main courses, I had Hunan Chicken with steamed rice, which was spicy and flavorful, but you have to add peanuts on your own to set this off! My wife enjoyed the Shrimp Fried Rice, which was well-seasoned and had plump shrimp. The Hot-and-Sour Soup was a great mix of spicy and sourOverall, China Cottage delivered good food and ambiance. Also, must stop by and see the fish!

Went on a Tuesday for a quick meal- service and food was excellent! Portion was huge!

Food was delicious and helping's were generous atmosphere was a bit dark but still light enough to see your food

Love this restaurant. It's a crowd-pleaser for the whole family. Especially appreciate their vegetarian selections. Take-out orders are prepared fresh and fast. Our favorite: sesame bean curb in brown sauce.

Very good service and excellent food! Nice atmosphere and china dinnerware was also very nice. Huge menu and also a wine list. I would definitely go there again!

This rating is based on food that my darling wife brought home for me, after she ate at China Cottage.The egg rolls were quite nice & tasty.The combination Lo Mein had a nice flavor, but ZERO heat. I asked for it to be "spicy" (since I have a reasonable tolerance for heat), but the dish, as delivered, was BLAND. NO heat at all.Too bad that they apparently make their "spicy" dishes bland & not spicy hot at all.

The food is great, and the service is terrific great food love it friendly pleasant always always good

We have been customers for nearly 3 yrs and have always been pleased with the quality of the food. Polite and quick service. Well worth the money.
