Cheese N Chong

Really sweet people work this food truck. Food's alright, too. :)I finally had a chance to try Cheese N Chong after the Silent Disco at the Cincinnati Art Museum. They were parked at the far end of the lot near the stairs (which are awesome!). I had my food to go and tried the avocado grilled cheese and the Pickle Rick. I much preferred the Pickle Rick. It was sooooo good. I can't believe I've never thought of that perfect combination before. It's just pure perfect pickleness with cheese.

We had Cheese N Chong for the first time at the CFTA Food Truck Festival in Summit Park. From the design of the food truck, you can gather that they're known for their gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. There's a content-looking hippie on the side giving a peace sign. It's easy to see why he's satisfied - the food is delicious! We ordered the Tropic Thunder: chipotle aioli, grilled ham, fresh grilled pineapple, and pepper jack cheese. It was served piping hot, and was very tasty! The sandwich also comes with a pickle spear. We also decided to get a pretzel with beer cheese. It was absolutely delicious. I would order it again in a heartbeat. Be sure to check this food truck out when you get the chance!

Had them at Summitt Park Friday. Found out they were in Montgomery the next day. Went there as well!!!! Had 2 of their grilled cheese and their chicken quesadilla. All were fantastic. Great pico in the quesadilla. The one grilled cheese had pickles... yummy. The other was pesto pepperoni marinara Delicious!!!! Everything is made fresh when you order. To be honest I'm not normally a Food Truck fan. however these guys are AWESOME!! Would drive a country mile to eat where they are parked!!!!!

I got to try these grilled cheeses at the Cincinnati Food Truck Association's Food Fest in Summit Park. They have plenty of selections, from classic grilled cheese to Tex-Mex chili, avocado, pizza and more.My husband choose the Pickle Rick (pickles, ranch, mozzarella and cheddar.) He absolutely loved it. I got The Bourbonator (Bourbon bacon jam, I think some bacon, cheddar and mozzarella.) I'm not sure if there was supposed to be bacon strips or the bacon was just in the jam. I chose wrong as the jam is very sweet and there's a lot of it. When I pulled the sandwich apart with less jam, I liked it much better. The sandwiches are top quality, made on Sixteen Bricks bread that got perfectly crispy and held up to all the fillings. It was super buttery as well, i.e. a delicious treat. The sandwiches are also HUGE, with half more like a full grilled cheese.

OMG! The Green is the BEST grilled cheese ever!! Service is amazing! Highly recommend!
