**Food:** 5/5We ordered the Plov and Lamb Chop, and both dishes were truly outstanding. The Plov was rich and flavorful, with tender rice infused with spices, slow-cooked lamb, and vegetables, offering a perfect balance of savory and fragrant notes. The Lamb Chop was cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully, making every bite a pleasure.**Service:** 5/5The service at Chaykhana N1 was impeccable. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience by making sure we had everything we needed.**Ambiance:** 5/5The restaurant's ambiance had a cozy, authentic feel that transported us to Uzbekistan. With traditional décor and a warm, relaxed setting, it was the ideal backdrop for a meal that felt both homey and special.**Price:** 5/5For the quality of food and service, the pricing was fair and reasonable. We left satisfied, feeling that the meal was worth every penny.

What a hidden gem! This was recommended by local Chinese folks and it did not disappoint. Located in a strip mall in West Chester - parking was easy.We ordered the beef soup, samsa, steam bum, kebab and plov - everything was so flavorful and delicious. The plov is definitely my favorite and it had a good amount of protein in it. Same for the samsa and steam bum - all are very good value for decent quality of food. Interior was clean and organized. The servers were very nice as well. Will have to come back and try their homemade dessert.

First time having Uzbek cuisine and I was really impressed! If I were to describe it to someone whose never had this cuisine before - it's unique with elements of Eastern European, middle eastern and East Asian influences. Though truly speaking it is it's own identity in it's flavor. Definitely recommend checking this place out not just for the great food but also to broaden horizons and try something you probably never have before!

Tired of the same old-same old? Ready for something DIFFERENT?? Here you will find an interesting, UNIQUE, and definitely FAR from the ordinary dining experience!! I gave myself an "assignment" at the beginning of this year to try at least one meal (either cooking it myself or in a restaurant) from around the globe, A-Z. Now, as I get close to the end of the alphabet, my time, mojo, and willingness to hunt for "oddball" ingredients seems to be slipping, so I've been going out to eat. "U" came around a few weeks ago, and I might have googled a few recipes from Uganda, but it looked to me like Uzbekistan was going to be a challenge. Once again, my two good friends, Google and Yelp helped lead me in the right direction and I found this wonderful, waaaaaaaay off the beaten path (for me, at least...) spot to sample some wonderful Uzbek delicacies.Be sure to come hungry and be willing to try a little bit of everything. Uzbek food is a wonderful blend of some of your favorite Middle Eastern and Eastern European delicacies... Definitely something for everyone, and fun to share!! We shared a dumpling platter, an order of some the best samsa (samosa-like, but better!!) and I also got a bowl of fresh, hot, veggie filled borscht. My entree, chicken plov (pilaf-like, with tons of flavor!!) was good, but I almost wished we had ordered more appetizers/small plates instead.I just LOVE feeling like I'm "traveling the world" without a passport, and there are few better ways to do that than to experience a hearty, authentic, well-made "ethnic" meal. There were TONS of "native" Uzbeks here on a Friday night, and if they're happy here, so am I.

Food is great. We ordered Samsa (roasted baozi) and manti (steamed baozi). These two are with same ingredients: lamb + onion + cumin. The meat is very fragrant and union is sweet. Manti is coupled with sour cream. I like Samsa more because it has crispy pastry. Lagman is also great. Sliced beef + chewy noodles + fresh and sweet pepper.Service is great, too. They use mountain spring as free still water instead of tap water. The whole restaurant is clean and quiet.

I have passed the place many times and every time I tell my husband that we just have to try it. Well, we finally did and I'm so glad! We started off with a bowl of Russian Borshch to share. It's served with a side of sour cream. We also ordered some Naan. My husband ordered the Dolma. I ordered the Kazan-Kebab. My husband also had an Ayran yogurt drink. Everything was delicious! The lamb in my dish was so tender. The potatoes, cooked with the lamb were very flavorful. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Dolma. Neither of us have ever had stuffed grape leaves that had lamb in them and we found them to be delicious. The naan is different from any other naan we've had. It's fluffy and chewy and the center is thin and slightly crispy. It was awesome and paired well with the borshch. The star of the meal for both of us was the Russian Borshch. So much so that we've talked about it a few times since and can't wait to go back for more. Seriously the best borshch either of us has ever had! We will definitely be back.

A hidden gem! Unlike any food I've ever had before. The lagman soup and the samsa were delicious! The flavors are so unique. The service was a little slow and there was a bit of a language barrier but our waiter was sure to answer any questions we had about the menu. Will definitely be back for more!

Yes, please try this place!Started with the Samsa lamb appetizer. That is a must try and an amazing dish. The Manti appetizer was good, but next time I'll just order double Samsa :)We then moved to the chicken and beef kebabs... both very good too. The rice dish with lamb (Plov) was also very good as was the Shurpa soup. We'll get all of these again and probably not stray elsewhere on the menu because it was so good, but no doubt other dishes should be tried!

Hunting for some good Plov once I arrived back from a vacation. The Plov here is good enough but lacking some flavor, salt and rice war harder than it should. Tried their Samsa (it's like a croissant with meat inside it) as well, it was good but the Cumin spice overwhelmed the meat flavor. Service was subpar. Had to come upfront to pay and get their attention. Love their booth table with curtains, ambience is nice.

A classic case of a victim of success. I've frequented this restaurant multiple times and the pulav has been sensational in the past. The meat, the sweetness, the flavor. I hate to say that this place has grown due to popularity but they recently made swaps to their crowd puller pulav--the meat has been swapped out for strips that are now majority fat, the oil overflowing, the sweetness from I think it was raisins now gone. The only flavor is salt. The pulav is now so salty and so disappointing. (The picture shows it to be oily, but it was oily in the past as well, so it is negated in this review). The meal left so much to be desired that we finished our food out of duty to not waste, not due to enjoyment as we have in the past.I write this review in hopes that our experience was a fluke and that the owners will read this and convert back to what made them popular in the first place. Bring back the original meat, the raisins, and the flavor not from salt.
