No bread service? (Tonight or forever, not sure). The menu and intent of Center Cut has changed, so reset your expectations if you haven't been in a while. What was previously a surprisingly elegant dining space with exquisite steaks and specialty items in an Indiana casino, is temporarily their main restaurant. Service still excels and the food is tasty. I ate the crab cakes (appetizer) as an entrée and couldn't finish. The texture was perfect and the taste was very good. My dining companion had the filet accompanied by the asparagus and said it was fantastic! In addition to a few steaks--there is a chicken entree, sandwiches and other lighter meals on the menu. The bar is full service although they were out of the Tom Gore Chardonnay tonight.

I eat here at least once a month and I come back for the food, but also the staff! They're so friendly and always remember my favorites! It is located inside of the casino and you must be 21 to enter! My insider rec: sit at the bar with Kyle. Their bar drinks are also some of my favorite around. Such good quality and made perfectly. He makes my favorite espresso martini! My order every time I come in: shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad (their onion soup is great too!), filet, the balsamic sprouts as a side, and then I switch up the other side. Loaded baked potato, mashed, or lobster Mac (not as good as their old menu's lobster Mac but still good!). Also don't sleep on their daily specials. They're always good!! For dessert fry their new buttery toffee cake!

We went to Center Cut last night for dinner. My birthday is on Valentine's Day so there's never a table to be had and it's always so crowded so we decided to celebrate early. It was a Friday night and we were about 15 minutes early for our reservation. We were greeted at the door of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. We were immediately ushered to our table. Our waiter was at the table a few minutes later to introduce himself and see if we wanted anything to drink. I ordered the Second Circle martini and the hubby got an iced tea. Our excellent waiter was Patrick. The Second Circle martini is Woodford Reserve bourbon, Ruby port, maple syrup, and Bitters. The martini was good with the overriding flavors being the port and maple syrup. Really did not taste the Woodford but I liked it.Someone brought a bread service to the table and poured water.Patrick took our order for starters when he brought the drinks back. We ordered the steak tartare and the chicken livers. I have had the chicken livers here before and already knew that I liked them. The chicken livers are served on a bed of frisee lettuce, sweet red onions, and aged balsamic vinegar. This perfectly complements the crispy on the outside and tender on the inside chicken livers. The hubby liked the steak tartare better. The steak tartare was made with black garlic, egg yolk jam, shiso, a bone marrow cracker, and togarashi. Both were tasty ways to start our meal.Patrick took our order for dinner when he brought out our starters. The hubby ordered the 14 oz New York strip and a loaded baked potato. I ordered the lobster bisque and coho salmon. In addition I ordered another martini, the vanilla espresso martini. Patrick brought my lobster bisque out shortly after that. This was very tasty and reminiscent my favorite lobster bisque. The only thing I would change would be to make it a little bit thicker but it had excellent flavor it had a little bit of pernod cream and a few bites of lobster. Our dinner was brought to the table and he set the baked potato in between us because it was huge any thought we might want to share it! The hubby ordered his steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly and he said it had great flavor. My coho salmon was cooked perfectly as well and I had never eaten wheat berries and they were slightly crunchy giving the dish some texture. We both really enjoyed our main dishes with no complaints. To top off the night I ordered coffee with cream and creme brulee. He brought my coffee to the table in a stainless steel pitcher and he brought a pitcher of cream and he had also taken the extra step to warm up my coffee cup. This was awesome! I love my coffee to be very hot and this was perfect. A little bit later he brought the creme brulee in the hubby and I shared it the burnt sugar on top was nice and crusty and we had to crack through it just like you should. We had a very enjoyable meal and will definitely be going back. I would suggest asking for Patrick on your trip in as he did an excellent job.

Located within Indiana Grand Casino, this steakhouse has delicious lamb chops and filet mignon with all the sides you could ever want! The food, expectedly, did take about 30-45 minutes to come to the table which our awesome waitress warned us about when ordering the medium rare lamb chops (average cooking time she said)! Our experience was awesome and albeit on the pricier end, we'll definitely find a reason to be back for more.

Nine of our family planned the trip to Indiana Grand, in Shelbyville, IN, around dinner at Center Cut. We'd never dined here before and everyone was looking forward to our new dining experience. Along with the possiblity of hitting a large jackpot which one of the group did.We made reservations for 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday evening allowing everyone a few hours of gambling before dinner. At 6:00 we entered the restaurant and was promptly seated in the very back of the restaurant where the larger group tables were located. The room was very quiet, comfortable and felt like our own private dining room. As we walked through the restaurant a bar sits in the middle with small, intimate tables throughout. A large wall of wine greets you as you enter with the large, glass Center Cut sign. The service was phenomenal from the moment we sat down to the very last minute in the restaurant. From the hostess, our servers, and the Manager went above and beyond to make our dinner an exceptional experience. Service, food and atmosphere was truly a five star experience for all nine of us.The cocktails, wine and beverages arrived timely. The wine drinkers were very happy with their selections and my husband thoroughly enjoy his 3 Woodford Reserve over the one large ice cube ball. Nice and chilled without the ice melting quickly and diluting the bourbon. Each of us had a variety of appetizers. The large shrimp appetizers had a nice presentation and so fresh with an excellent spicy cocktail sauce. Not St. Elmo spicy but delicious without the nasal burn. The thick Lobster Bisque was served with a dollop of sour cream and had a generous amount of lobster and loaded with flavor. The salads were crisp and fresh and everyone loved the assortment of fresh, warm bread and dinner rolls. The flavored butters were a miss for a couple people but that was the only minute issue all evening and, of course was a personal preference. Our dinners consisted of Lobsters, Ribeyes, Pork Chops, 10 oz. Filets, and Salmon. Everthing was extraordinary, prepared perfectly with beautiful presentations. All the sides are noted as shareable and can easily be shared between 2 or 3 people. The baked potatoes were HUGE, very tender and topped as requested from butter to loaded. The Lobster Mac n' Cheese was filled with large chunks of lobster, 3 types of cheeses with a thin layer of bread crumbs and lightly baked. Excellent!! And it reheated well the next day.Dessert was a struggle for all of us but several spoons appeared to help the situation. The Creme Brulee was the hit of the desserts with a close second to the Chocolate Torte. An excellent Steakhouse and we all agreed the quality and service was worth the price paid. We look forward to dining at Center Cut again on a future trip.

What an amazing date night this experience turned out to be. We wanted to do something fun so we went gambling. We we saw this restaurant then got on the reservation list as they were busy. We decided we wanted to have drinks when we went to the drink area the bartender brought us a dinner menu. We were able to eat there right by the piano. Multiple martinis were delicious and smooth. I highly recommend a date night here

Since moving from indy to Shelby County we are always looking for a good place to eat. we were wanting a steak so we went to Center Cut. it is located inside Indian Grand Casino. We have been to Sullivan's in Indy and loved it. But the price was high and the portion small. Center Cut the price was basically the same but the portions were huge. The steak was perfect the potato was the size of a child's head, and the lobster mac is to die for. we got seated early, the food came to us quickly. Everybody was very attentive. There was a small problem with the table next to us so it took longer for my waitress to get me my boxes and check out then it did to take to get our food to us. I will be going back and I definitely recommend this place

Honestly, wow. This place not only looks really great, very sexy, but had incredible food. Seriously. I really wasn't expecting much but their chef is amazing. The ambiance outs top notch. There's a piano player and a wall of wine to the right, a beautiful bar in the center and initiate seating all around. The menu is pretty reasonable for a steak house and many typical steakhouse items. We started with the shrimp cocktail which came out as 4 enormous prawns. And honestly, their cocktail sauce is just as good as st Elmo without the crazy burn. Nick had the filet which he rated an 8 out of 10. I had a bite and would absolutely order it for myself sometime. We had the Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes for a side. The potatoes were great but the Brussel sprouts were amazing. They have a great bacon flavor. I ordered the goat cheese crab fondue appetizer. Omg it's amazing. We were warned it wad big so I decided that would be my entree. Now I also have a great snack for later. The service was great too. The lady bartender has worked here since the place opened and was wonderful to chat with. I'm sorry I don't remember her name but ill definitely be back and I hope you see her again!

Hate the menu change & service this time, won't be back. Enjoyed a nice dinner in September w/ our bartender Tara who was nice, checked in on us when we got our meal & had great recommendations. Kyle sucked, avoided us both times, as he did today, but checked in on everyone around us. Both times the manager did ask how everything was which I appreciate. I do like the live music, today was a violinist. Also this is a smoking restaurant. Odd in a Steakhouse, but I'm in Shelbyville. Now Caesars has taken over so maybe things will change here in July.Today we got Kyle's wife Brandy who was just as rude, snappy & ready to have us gone. No reason cause we are good tippers & not difficult. She never brought the dessert tray after saying someone else had it & never acknowledged it after we asked for the check. By that time, we were ready to be gone. Will not be back so her problem is solved. She had no recommendations on food & told me the pictures I showed her from September were 'a long time.' Hmmm cause she said the menu changed two weeks ago, guess that's a long time. The customer next to me is a regular & said the menu sucks & keeps getting worse cause chefs don't want to take other chef's menu, instead make up their own new menu. No specials were presented or descriptions as her husband Kyle explained to the guys next to us. The ribeye & roasted Cauliflower were good so will give the star to the Chef. Nothing worthwhile on the menu besides the steak. Why change a great menu such as the Scallops, Sea Bass & the Coffee Rubbed NY Strip or even the Tartare? Thankfully I didn't leave those recommendations cause they're gone now.

We visited last night 6/4/22 and ordered wine, crab cakes, side salads, 2 filets, and 1 ribeye. The filets came out as small medallion hockey pucks. We ordered our temperature medium and medium rare and the steaks came out well done.No big deal, try again, however, it took them 40 minutes to get our new steaks out. Should have been maybe 3-5 minutes per side. We ended up taking it home at this point we were unhappy and nobody cared to ask how our evening was. Just gave us our bill. Stay away. This place is not a steak house.
