There was less than an ounce of shrimp and lobster in the whole $12 dish
The prime rib was a little grey, but thats fine. The chewiness and blandness was the killer

Would love to make this based on experience but the sign says open till 9 and doors locked at 8 tonight... not real good for business. Workers inside standing g around talking... gotta love the Midwest hospitality. lol

Restaurant is nice - service great - food average for the price should be excellent - I had grouper which wasn't grouper - friend had rib eye - not eve an inch thick ordered medium - well done - wife had chicken marsella - decent just ok - creme brule was good - screwed driver 12 dollars 1 dollar fir orange juice- total bill 124.00 - for that price with no salad or sides - no thanks

Service was great but food is sub-par. The prime rib and grouper were overcooked and under seasoned. I might as the prime rib must be cooked in a single order, which shouldn't be the case. The scallops were not seasoned well either, and risotto was bland. The crème brûlée was good and the bruschetta was great. The price for food is WAY overpriced. Overall, a better chef is needed in a place that is so "up scale". Again, the service staff was excellent.

As I entered the restaurant I realized that the last time I ate here was pre-Covid about four years ago . When I was leaving I was thinking I coming back soon. It was a wonderful dining experience. The food was exceptional. From the appetizer, main course and dessert, it was first class all the way. Well cooked and hot. Presented well.The wait service was exceptional! Our waitress treated us like royalty. She was committed to make our dining experience the best we ever had. She succeeded. Since my last visit they have added an outdoor dining area which looked nice. We chose to dine inside. I was happy to see that they have kept their table distances. I hate eating elbow to elbow. Space between tables is very adequate . Ambiance is quite nice. Not noisy and nicely decorated. If in Springfield OH, give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Oh yes, reservations suggested.

The question would have to be, where was Cecil? It was amateur hour in the restaurant as they prepared for Cecil's return! Realizing this we did not comment on the appearance of the hostess with the dirty stained clothing, the unprofessional handover to our waiter who struggled to discuss the menu and specials (turned out someone asked the bar man to serve tables) or the wait staff who came to take our order and became unsure if they were supposed to waiting on our table. The bar man who began our service was last seen entering a door labeled "Toilets" and appeared to disappear for way longer than it would take to go to Krogers and buy the bottle of wine. While waiting for the mediocre meal we had ordered, we were brought a few pieces of white bread and a bowl of seasoned oil; as the time passed we sat somewhat lonely in the dining area and counted the minutes click bye.Where is Cecil? Is no one directing this farce?Surely service could be improved; evidently the wait staff training has been interrupted and they have gone to help in the kitchen where a mad scientist is wondering how to price the menu. Oh yes! it's all priced individually, quite complicated to figure out the meat, add a price for the sauce and another for the veg and if you forgot a starter it's time to get an adding machine from Goodwill!Cecil, we are past the hour mark and still waiting on you or our food to appear ... then it came, we hoped you would not! Let's hope when the show finishes rehearsals and you walk out on stage it will be a better experience for all, rehearsed lines, the ballet choreographed , the presentation perfect and the ticket prices matching the product. We did not hear any applause as we handed over our credit cards watched to the end!Our twenty percent tip was to encourage professionalism, as are the generous three stars on this review.

Springfield OH was our half way mark on our recent roadtrip. We always try to visit a local eatery and Cecil and Lime was our choice. This is a white table cloth restaurant, but casual dress is accepted. There were dinner specials including duck, elk, and bison dishes that sounded delish. We decided on the Bruschetta as our appetizer and we both had Caesar salads. I had my heart set on salmon and my spouse chose their pork chop. With my entrée I chose the vegetable of the day, grilled asparagus and my spouse picked their mac and cheese. The salmon came with either honey-ginger or lemon-dill sauce. My choice was the lemon-dill. For desert we had crème brûlée. Our waiter was Ken and his service was the best we've had in a long while. If you happen to stop in Springfield OH I recommend you take the time to enjoy a scrumptious meal.
