Caveman Crepes

My husband and I had the pleasure of checking out Caveman Crepes at the Harrison, OH, Food Truck Rally on May 18. I ordered the Caprese Crepe with Chicken, and my husband had the Buffalo Chicken Crepe. Yum! The Crepes were incredibly delicious and quite filling. My only regret is that we were too full to go back for dessert. We'll be keeping our eyes out for their next event so that I can try the Cinnamon Crepe with Strawberries.

I had this food truck while downtown on fountain square. I ordered the strawberry with Nutella. He staff was friendly and the items were cool to order. It took a little while for them to prepare it but I would rather it be fresh. It was really good. I loved how it was prepared. The strawberries seemed fresh and the favor was delicious. I love the taste the Nutella added to the dish. I would definitely have it again when I go to another event. They had a variety of things to choose from but I actually enjoyed what I ordered so would probably order it again.

Alright, so I have eaten at this food truck before. Their food is VERY good. I cannot speak to the friendliness of the staff, because it has been too long. But I felt like I needed to post a review of a recent experience where I did not get to order any food. I tried, but it just never happened. At the food truck festival at summit park a few weeks back, my husband and I were looking to wrap up our night with dessert. We had decided on the cheesecakery tru k, but as mentioned in a previous post, they had run out of food. So we wandered a couple trucks down and got in line for crepes. After nearly ten minutes of waiting, the line had barely moved at all. All we could see was a huge crowd of angry people who appeared to be waiting for their order. Eric turned to me and said, "remember the last time we ate at this truck? It took forever for our food, and we were the only ones in line." That's all I needed to hear. We left. Among those waiting for their orders were from friends from church. I asked them the next Sunday how long they had waited for their food and they said FORTY FIVE MINUTES.Seems like this food truck needs to reconsider how they handle high traffic events like summitfest. I'd guess they created a lot of unhappy customers that day.

Caveman Crepes parked outside of my workplace today, and I not being able to resist a good crepe, I hopped on over to check it out. I got both a sweet (Yellow Submarine) and a savory (Caprese--no chicken), and stuffed myself silly. These are seriously delicious. I actually like them more than Taste of Belgium. Less eggy, less greasy. My ONLY complaint is that I wish there were a few more choices for vegetarian savory crepes, but I would definitely get it again!

Excellent food that is totally gluten free! Food truck that is available for private functions.

Caveman crêpes came to my daughter's graduation party today and it was an excellent experience. The business communication was clear and concise and the food was excellent quality and very tasty. We would happily use this business again.
