The place is so cute! It's vibrant and the service was 11/10. We got there as soon as they opened and the 2 guys were really friendly. I would love to come bcK when it's more people. Seems like the perfect place to have dinner with friends. *Wings were so good! The gold bbq sauce is my favorite. I wish they sold it in bottles. Fries were season and fried to perfection. *Yam or Sweet Potatoes were delicious. I know the cook was as a young blk man but the way these tastes made me think somebody's grandma was back there throwing down. So damn good! *Fish was really good. Seasoned perfectly and fried hard. These were big pieces and were amazing leftover. **The Mac I wasn't a fan, not sure if it was made with Gouda cheese but I'm not a fan. It was cheesy and the perfect texture. If you're a fan of Gouda you'll love it. The potatoes & onions were just okay. Needed more onions and little more seasoning but the fries made up for it. I'll definitely be coming bcK again soon!

Where to start?....Came here for dinner expecting a lovely sit-down restaurant and was sorely disappointed. Imagine getting all dolled up to dine at the newest soul food restaurant in town then realizing you stepped into a souped-up chicken/fish spot. I gave it 3 stars simply for the food as the experience was a solid one.Upon arrival, there was no greeting and so we just found a table. A small group of folks were sitting at the tables near the front door waiting for their takeout. Honestly, that's what this place should be. A takeout joint with tables for those who want to eat their food there. Can you imagine ordering food to dine in and being presented with a set of takeout, cheaply-made plastic cutlery? Yep, that's what we were offered. I had to ask an employee walking by if they had "real" cutlery and he went to the back to grab us a set. The owner was working but unlike a fine dining establishment, did not come over to greet us, the only dine-in customers. That would have went a long way had she done that.The sad part is the food was actually pretty good (tasty yams, mac/cheese, fried whiting, and peach cobbler). However, the cabbage was under-seasoned. Take my advice and order your food to go until the training, customer service, and adequate staffing is present. You won't be disappointed if you do that.

I LOVE this spot. I wanted a homestyle fried meal but didn't feel like cooking. I found this spot on google and decided to give it a try. I called ahead to confirm their hours and was greeted by Angel, who was super friendly. Not knowing what to expect, I wanted to check out the environment (as I do with all of my first-time experiences) before I placed my order.When I arrived, the place was spotless, and I was immediately greeted by Basil, who took my order. Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the whiting with fried potatoes and cabbage. OMGoodnesss, YUM. Everything was piping hot and flavorfulI highly recommend the fried fish. It was fresh and cooked to order. Next time I visit (and there will be a next time), I would like to try other sides and dessert. Get here!

I love this place! When there were in Oakley I always got the fried fish, buffalo chicken fries and the catch to drink. Recently they moved to Pleasant Ridge and I got to try them again. This time I got the turkey melt, buffalo chicken fried and sweet chili chicken wings... baby them chicken wings were the star of the show. Can't wait to get them again.

I'm dropping to 2 stars due to the fact I got a side of fried potatoes and paid 5 dollars for not even 2 oz of potatoes and they were burnt.. that's a rip off !

This is Pleasant Ridge's newest spot. I'm very happy to see that someone could bring life to this PR gem (the building). They have a limited menu but I'm sure that's only because they're warming up as they get comfortable. We had the turkey melt and shrimp tacos. I can say we were both pleasantly satisfied with our selections. The seasoning for both was on point and definitely hit the spot. Now what totally sold me was that banana pudding! I was supposed to share with my husband but I just couldn't loosen the grip or give in and miss any bites. I'm excited to go back and try the other things on the menu.

The service was great but the wait for food was long. However worth the wait. Pleasant ridge needed black owned spot on this area so kudos to them. With so much food right there, and community support they will thrive like everybody else on that corner. Like I stated before I did have a wait but the wings were very good. I also had the turkey coneys, that's a plus for this non pork eater!ambiance is cute and inviting. Once they have a liquor license and work on timing they will also be a PR staple!

Cheat day food at its finest! Catch Me If You Can is a family- run restaurant that offers indulgent meals and friendly service. Their new location in Pleasant Ridge is bright and colorful. I started off with the Catch, which is their signature lemonade. I loved the layers of flavor and the colors- it was fun without being too sweet. I continued with the Buffalo ranch chicken fries. My goodness- this portion could have fed three! Everything was fresh with tons of chicken throughout and the Buffalo sauce had a nice kick. My daughter had the creole shrimp tacos. The shrimp were tender and the slight crunch on the flour tortillas added nice texture. I'll definitely be back to try the wings.

This has been on my list to visit and I am glad I finally made it. From the music to the food, to the drinks! It was a good time! Service was great and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I had the shrimp tacos and potatoes and onions! OMG! Whatever that red sauce is with the fresh taco shell - they know something in the kitchen! Everyone in my party was highly satisfied and we can't wait to come back! It's the fact the prices aren't outrageous too! Affordability definitely makes this a 5 Star with taste and service! Oh that Arnold Palmer with some mango is what the doctor ordered! The drinks are sweet but it's the perfect balance with the savory food!

I came here on the recommendation of a friend ready to try wings and the turkey cheese but the service was so slow that I had to leave. I know most places are hurting for staff but I was so hungry. I did enjoy the ambiance music and people with good vibes
