Fresh ingredients, well made & decent price.- hot coffee: rich and the most perfect temperature. the latte art is also a hit. - vibes: cozy, chatty, nice service, work space, and a nice way to spend a morning or afternoon.Hot Tip: bring a notepad and pen and shove some notes in the walls!

My first visit to Carabello and it did not disappoint! I met with a friend for a coffee date this morning and wow I don't think I've ever seen a coffee shop so packed! I knew I was in the right place lol! I tried the goetta, egg and cheese wrap and the orange cappuccino. The wrap comes cold in the cooler but they heat it up for you and it was pretty tasty! They also brought out a side of salsa to go with it. The drink was good as well. While the shop was very busy it was a nice size venue and had two sides to help with seating. I'll definitely be returning!

Attended a tasting at the Coffee bar. The "bartender" was very conversational throughout the experience and we felt welcomed and intrigued by the different seasonal drink options. Lovely for a weekend morning date.

Cute coffee shop with tasty coffee, friendly service and a hip atmosphere. I'm so glad that I stopped in to get a hot brewed drink and meet a friend for conversation.I bought my plus one a pound of their dark roast so he can enjoy it at home.

Carabello Coffee in Newport is huge shop with unique decor and a fantastic space. The area is gigantic with two separate wings and is great for getting work done or just hanging out. The iced banana bread latte was not bad, but a bit too milky and very little banana flavor. The iced teas were pretty tasty but a bit mild in flavor as well. The vanilla latte was great and had beautiful latte art. The staff were friendly as well and it is definitely a spot I am excited to revisit!

Carabello Coffee is always the first coffee house I recommend to out-of-towners. It is an absolute staple in our household. Their business model is philanthropic, and they purchase their coffees direct from the farmers. We have a subscription order for their roasted coffees, and my husband and I visit the café just about every Saturday morning. The baristas are always smiling and greeting customers, and the musical choices add good vibes! If you've been looking for a great coffeehouse or better beans for your morning Joe, give them a try!

Tried this at the Cincinnati Coffee Festival, and decided we would take a trip down to Newport on Saturday morning to try the full experience. Great little coffee shop. Two big seating areas. Aside from fresh coffee, they also sell supplies for making your own at home. We both tried their seasonal peppermint mocha. My wife had hers hot, I had mine iced. Really good! I also tried one of their chocolate croissants, served hot. So light, flaky, and delicious!Worth the drive down to Newport to check out. If I lived closer, I think I would be a regular!

Carabello Coffee is unlike chain coffee shops with its more relaxed pace and welcoming atmosphere. There is plenty of seating where one can be chatting with friends, reading a book, or (in my case) hanging with a study group. The large windows along the front half of the shop provides the perfect ambiance while enjoying your coffee, tea, or pastry. Even better, the establishment prioritizes farm direct coffee by purchasing coffee beans from farmers at a price that is higher than the Fair Trade pricing which not only increases the quality of the coffee but also ensures that farmers are being paid ethically for their work.While at Carbello, I purchased a vanilla iced latte which was freshly made and even better than I hoped. The barista was very polite and the drink was delivered to my table promptly. Their menu includes all of your standard coffee concoctions along with tea, pastries, breakfast and lunch items which I can't wait to try during my next visit.

Large coffeehouse in Newport offering all the typical coffee drinks, including seasonal ones, caffeine free drinks like lemonade, desserts, and pastries. There's two sides to this shop and right in between the two is where you place your order. I was confused a little bit at first but I eventually made my way. I grabbed a lavender, almond milk matcha and being that I was there for a meeting, I browsed around the place until I could find a table. This place is busy! Even in the middle of the afternoon. That afternoon pick-me-up is no joke. It took me a minute to find space but I eventually did and my meeting went well. My matcha was also downright delicious. I would definitely come here to order it again.

This coffee shop is highly overrated. Their coffee is constantly sour tasting to my palate. Their vibe feels elitist. I've heard first hand from others how they were rudely treated. There are plenty of other coffee shops to get a better cup of coffee and have a better human experience
