Captain 9's

I had a good meal at Captain 9's. It's a small town pizza place. The inside is decorated with tons of firefighter memorabilia. It also has ice cream. The staff is friendly mostly. I had a calzone. It's about $10 for most calzones. This one had mushrooms and onions. It didn't take too long to make. This came with garlic oil dipping sauce and pizza sauce. It was nice to get that many dipping options. There's places that won't give you anything. Inside the restaurant is neat to walk around. There's firefighter equipment scattered around, and lots of pictures from the little league teams it supports. Best in Germantown. It may also have delivery. Loses a star for having TV on Faux News.

If Karen is working, food will be made expertly. She works days. Sprayed the underside of my pizza with canola oil spray and sprinkled Parmesan Romano blend on the underside as well. Holy Moly - Made for a crispy crust. Really fantastic.

Came here because of a Groupon. Had a medium thin-crust pizza with 3 items (cut into squares) and a huge Italian steak hoagie cut into 4 pieces.A lot of food for what we paid--took some home. I like their thin crust pizza. Although this place is a little over 30 minutes from home, I'll probably be back.

We stopped here 9pm on Friday night. Tons of locals with their kids enjoying ice cream in the parking lot. There are a couple of outside picnic tables. Our order was carry out, we didn't order ahead but the wait was only about 20 minutes. The supreme pizza really was supreme! Loaded with crumbled sausage, onions and peppers diced small with pepperoni underneath. The thin crust was sliced in manageable squares. $12 for a small but it easily fed two people. The mushroom cheese hoagie was as expected and the cheeseburger with fries was good although the fries didn't travel well. Reasonable prices on sandwiches. I believe in independent thinking so I don't care what is on the tv.

Great place for pizza and taking the kids for ice cream! They have many flavors. I recently ordered their pizza and was very impressed! My 4 stars are only due to customer service which I thought was slightly mediocre. I was ignored.

Store has a new name. I don't remember what it is. It was kind of hum drum. When you walk in you are greeted with a large light up menu on the back wall. They have a lot of items but you don't know how much they are because there are no prices. They have paper menus the same way. I guess you order and roll the dice to hope they charge is fair. Looked clean and the food was ok. Doubt I will go back. Not a fan of the sneaky mystery price. Oh and they ask you at the front desk before anyone brings out the food if you want to leave a tip! Tip who? The person punching in the mystery price buttons on the register or the person who may or may not bring your food! Strange things going on here. Foods ok staff friendly enough clean but strange! Enjoy

Changed ownership. Do not order potato skins really bad. Small very little bacon and cheese. Captain 9's so much better. Mozzarella sticks very small and you don't get sauce unless you ask. Fish sub they only put very little cheese and no tartar sauce. I will not go there again.

Good food and delivery service this is a must try if you get a chance The barbecue pizza is excellent

Went there, used a coupon, paid, sat for about an hour and finally went up to ask how much longer on our food and they apparently never actually put it in the system to be made. We got us a refund but didn't get the coupon back. Waste of time. Absolute crappy service.

One of my most favorite pizza spots! And the icecream is the best anywhere around! A MUST stop for anyone that has never been there. The owner is really kind too. Great service and great food! The regular pizza (it's a thin crust) is the best! I definitely prefer it to hand tossed, deep dish, or stuff crust. I think b/c the toppings are really good quality and I prefer the crust ratio to be minimized so I can really enjoy the flavor of the toppings.Never had an icecream flavor I didn't like here! Sometimes in the summer I stop just for that!
