This is a first impression review based on the following transcript of a telephone call to Cappy's:Me: Hello, Cappy. I would like to know if you sell Chimay.Cappy: What kind of beer?Me: Chimay. It's a Belgian beer. Cappy: No [scoffing sound] we don't sell Charmaine. Cappy treated me like I was the idiot in this exchange. Learn your beers. Up your customer service skills.I will try again in the future.

Do you want something new? Are you tired of the same beer selection everywhere? This is the place you are looking for. Their growler fill list is arguably the best in town, and they will often do feature pricing on a beer or two to encourage people to try them. Friendliest guys in town, too. Check them out, chat with the owners, try a new beer. No way you can disagree with me. Stop reading this review. Just go there. Pick me up a growler of something too.

How have I never been Cappy's until recently?!? I'm certain it's a staple for the college kids but I never really thought to give it a try.I was in search of a small pack of a beer I liked but I was only finding it in huge 32-packs (c'mon Naturdays); too much for just me. I was going to go to my usual store in Covington but i remember my friend mentioning this place and I decided to take a chance. They had everything I wanted and more! I was greeted as soon as I stepped foot in the door. The gentleman knew exactly what I wanted and he took me right to it. He even poured me a sample of a beer they had on draft as a good substitute if I needed it. Talk about good customer service. Cappy's has just nailed a long-time customer. I've been thinking about exploring growlers and this will be the place where I will purchase one for sure. Wish I would've come here when they sold liquor.

Great spot! A large variety of craft beers, and they aren't kidding when they say the coldest beer in town! They also do tap takeovers, which I am excited to attend. They also have beer on tap while you shop if you want to grab one. The guy working was very friendly and didn't mind talking to me about local beers. They didn't have my favorite, but he wrote down the name of it without me even asking!I can walk here so I will definitely be a returning customer!

Passing through Cincinnati, we stopped to stock the cooler for a camping trip. With so many great local breweries in town, we thought for sure that this would be the spot to load up on local brews. Sadly, we were pretty disappointed. They do have a decent selection overall, but this is not the spot to find an abundance of beer crafted in town. We asked for some assistance finding things brewed in Cincinnati and were directed to beers that are readily available in grocery stores in Tennessee from Michigan. They had a moderate selection of singles, but when asked if we could split up any of the few 6-packs of their local beers we were told no. All in all, the selection was fine, but really disappointing if you are coming to find beer brewed in Cincinnati.

Cappy's is great for finding local craft beers! They have a decent selection, often have rare or limited releases, and if you don't want to commit to a 4 or 6 pack of something, they usually have individual cans and bottles for sale. Their wine selection is great too!

I don't want to tell everyone about this place because it might ruin it. This is THE best place to get your growler filled in town, hands down. They constantly are rotating their 20 something taps and the prices on the beer they're moving out is a STEAL. Growler refills can range from $5 to $30, it's nuts. The guy behind the counter is super friendly and will let you taste anything, also will steer you away from things that he doesn't recommend. This place rocks, don't ruin it. :)

Stopped in to check out the bottle selection and Three Floyds options. The selection was pretty diverse-a lot of cold bottles ready to roll, growlers, and craft beer from local to Hawaii. They have a small liquor selection and offer growler fills. The organization of the stock was a bit hard to follow. There's enough space, I feel like it could be a bar and bottle shop. Overall, positive, and good to know that this bottle shop/carry out exists.

Glad I was able to get my zombie dust here, and they have a good selection of craft beers, but, it's the end of June, I think you need to loose the Christmas beers and all that Shamrock Shake. Lots of old beers that were released 3-6 months ago.
