Extraordinary! I know that's a short review, but it sums it up. The cupcakes are simply out of this world!The hours posted on Yelp don't match the hours posted at the store.

My daughter's birthday is the day after Christmas! At the last minute I needed a cake. We a chocolate cake with chocolate icing the week of Christmas and picked it up Christmas Eve!! She loved it! Delicious!! Thank you for making her day special! Remember they only accept cash!!

Hot take ... I don't like cupcakes. That was a true statement until we stopped by Cakes & Pastries by George. These cupcakes were so far beyond what I had come to expect from a cupcake. Elevated to a new level of deliciousness and literally each cupcake is a visual work of art. Beautiful, Delicious, and the staff were courteous and helpful in suggesting what we should try. We will definitely be making the drive from our town to George's when we have a craving for cupcakes from now on.

Note: Cash only. It's on the outskirts of Cincinnati, though I came based on a recommendation from someone at the mediterranean grocery next to Findlay Market. A small, no-nonsense shop had one fridge set aside for larger preordered cakes and a display of cupcakes and other confections which looked quite splendid.Admittedly, the ones I bought looked a little bit less splendid after I jostled them around in the car. The box said to keep them refrigerated and between my cooler and my refrigerator they seem to have kept well for several days.And my goodness were they delicious. The white chocolate, caramel, and raspberry-flavored creations I tried were utterly magnificent. White chocolate is a weird flavor, but when it's done right it is quite transcendent, and I'll be thinking about this place's white chocolate cake for a while.The spot is a hike from downtown Cincinnati, and the small storefront doesn't stand out. And this is not going to be the place for people with special dietary needs. But if you're wondering whether it's good enough to be worth seeking out, it definitely is.

Been going here for years! I was waiting outside for my bf to grab something from the shop next door and a woman that had driven all the way from Indiana to get cupcakes for an event saw me and for some reason she asked me if I had ever tried anything from George's - I told her no and she went back in and got me a strawberry cupcake - I've been hooked ever since. The cupcakes are literally out of this world good. I went back and tried the baklava and cannolis- amazing! Best I've ever had! I want to try every item they have... I probably will

Beautiful delicious cupcakes! Everything George makes is amazing! There is always a great selection at the bakery to choose from.

Cupcakes taste like little cakes, each one according to the one you get. Some weren't as fresh as I would like but some were really fresh too.

We used Cakes & Pastried by George for our wedding desserts and he was absolutely phenomenal! We ordered an assortment of cupcakes, cream horns, cannolis, baklava, and mousse cups. His desserts look stunning and they taste even better than they look. At our wedding, people were raving about how good all of the desserts were! We ordered extra desserts to be on the safe side, and there were none left over at the end of the night! George was wonderful to work with during the wedding planning process. We highly recommend him and will be frequenting his bakery for the rest of our lives!

I've known George for more than 15 years, since the days he baked out of an in home kitchen! He's a kindhearted man and is incredibly talented when it comes to baking. I have never had a dessert quite like his! He is busy and sometimes he is fully booked and cannot take any more orders so make sure to order in advance. My only complaint is that they're closed every year for my birthday month so we can't get a George cake to celebrate. Employees aren't often friendly but I look past that and continue to support George because I know he's a genuinely good person who makes my tastebuds so happy! Extremely poor customer service... Please, Please patroninze a company which appreciates your business and provides the kind of service you deserve.I wish I could provide a photo but George refused to bake a cake for my granddaughter's 13th birthday - I found a much better bakery any way.
