"It's hard to find somewhere that allows for a paleo diet. My mom has one out of health necessity and we decided to try Green District. It was perfect! She could order any combination of ingredients that she wasn't allergic to and everything was made fresh to order. We really appreciated the healthy portion sizes and the fact that the staff made an effort to remember our names!! If you are looking for a place to eat in or carry out, this is the spot. I would keep an eat in party on the small side to about 4, and you can get away with 5 or 6 to a table as long as you can borrow chairs from another table. This was a great choice and I will definitely be back!!"

"We carried out an early dinner from here and it was just OK. It was about 4:30 and the parking lot was already beginning to fill up with a number of people joining those already at the bar, so it's obvious it's a popular local choice.The menu offers a lot of appetizers, wings, sandwiches and hoagies, burgers, wraps and various main dishes like fried shrimp and pork chops. Some of the main dishes are available in a smaller portion for senior citizens. They also have specials nightly including meatloaf and steak night. I wanted to try their Irish pot roast that now comes with mashed potatoes and gravy (vs the former new potatoes,) carrots and the kind of dinner rolls you buy in a cardboard container stuck together in one block. The menu listed on Yelp shows a second pot roast dish over toast as well. I so wanted to like this dish as pot roast is my favorite. While the meat was very tender just like you make at home, it had an odd sweet taste that seemed to come from the gravy and some other kind of taste I couldn't place. A liberal amount of gravy was served over everything, which I normally would've appreciated. The carrots were well-cooked and tender, but the mashed potatoes tasted like instant to both me and my husband. Not something I would order again and after a few bites I passed it on to my husband.He got the fried fish and fries. He liked that the fish was cut into tender size and said the taste was fine. The fries were just OK, kind of mushy without too much taste.I imagine lots of people come here as a place to hang out at the bar versus having dinner. Maybe other food choices would have been better picks."

"Green District is one of my go to lunch spots downtown. I'm always looking for a healthy and fast option and this place fits the bill. You can order using their app and my food is always ready for pickup when I arrive. The service is great and I love their firebird salad. The customization options on the app are great too. Highly recommend for those downtown workers who want quality but quick food!"

"The owner is a fantastic human being. He was so gracious and walked through the whole menu with us and made suggestions....even throwing in freebies since you can tell that he's really proud of his food, and rightly so. It seems that Cincinnati tends to be at the higher price point for Mediterranean food, generally speaking. This is exactly where this place finds its niche: fighting that elevated price tag. Finally there is a place that is slinging good food without elevating the cost. The platters come with a side of nicely warmed pita that isn't the type of cardboard that comes out of the package that other places sell as an afterthought.The interior looks like it definitely caters to the take out aspect; however, there are a few tables inside and they will bring your food out to you after you place your order at the counter. Overall, no complaints, and happy to have a place like this around the area."

"This is a great new location of one of my fast casual go to's, Piada. Its the perfect spot for UC students and all the hospital workers in the area to grab a quick bite. There is plenty of space in the dining room to hang out for a bit as well. I noticed one person doing some work on their laptop. There is a small 15min parking lot around back for the building itself, otherwise its street parking. Piada is often dubbed the Italian Chipotle because they offer customizable items at the counter. There are sandwiches called Piadas, salad, pasta, soup, and dessert. My favorites are Calamari salad, Pasta with veggies and meatballs, the lobster bisque soup, and the cannoli chips. I also like their power bowl. Honestly everything here is good! There is something for everyone. They also have good drinks such as seasonal lemonades that I love. The staff is friendly and prompt. You may order in store or ahead online. Make sure to sign up for their free rewards program!"

"If you blink, you'll miss it!This location of Love Me Tenders is tucked away and almost invisible from the road, unless you're looking for it. This is unfortunate, because I'm sure many people don't even spot it as they're driving by this busy stretch of road. Not only that, in this particular area, there are approximately a dozen other fast food and standard restaurants in a stretch of about 1/4 mile. On top of all of the other businesses in this small area, you really need to look for it. That said, I gave it a try to see what they had to offer.I was not disappointed but I will say that I need to try it again. Here are some step-by-step details of my experience.I went through the drive-thru for my order. This took an incredibly long time. There was only one car in front of me and after a long wait, it was my turn at the window. Then, my wait was equally as long. I can only attribute this to that your order is made-to-order. That's not a bad thing, but if you're looking for fast or you get frustrated by long waits, this isn't the place for you. I believe you may eat in, but I did not go inside and cannot speak of the interior. In this case, drive-thru does not mean a quick in-and-out experience. The tenders, although very big in terms of portion, I found to be a bit bland and a little dry. They weren't inedible but they just didn't hit the mark for me. Unless I have a horrible experience though, I'm always willing to give a place another try.Would I go back? I do plan on giving Love Me Tenders another run. Whether it's a human or a business, we all have a bad day. The person at the window was very nice and the experience wasn't horrible. I know what to expect but next time, I hope the tenders will impress. It's nice seeing something other than the usual chains we have every 5 minutes from each other. An alternative is a welcomed change and I really want to like Love Me Tenders. And, if it does impress, I fully intend on updating my review. Wish me luck!"

"People from India to Morocco all (if they are not vegetarians) make something called "Kofta" (aka "Kefta," "Kofte," "Köfte," other variants, etc.) It's basically a kind of mini-burger patty (small patty of ground meat, usually either lamb or beef).Al-Amir does too! I've tried Kofti (Latinized plural of Kofta?) from every place I just mentioned (or nearly so). They are all slightly different and none of them are ever bad. The ones here, however, are especially good in my opinion. Aside from the seasoning being excellent (which it nearly always is) he seems to put quite a lot of either parsley or cilantro in the patty itself. A little meat patty will always taste a bit too heavy. His version has the right amount of heartiness and heft balanced with the refreshing inclusion of small flavorful leaves.I do honestly think it's lame that he charges people an extra buck for hot sauce. In all my Kofta-eating experience, this is unheard of.I would also say his speed in making these is pretty good. Many times I've ordered a Kofta, I felt like I celebrated another birthday before I got my sandwich. No birthday! Just the sandwich!"

"Some of the people that don't like this place because "it should taste better than what I can make at home" or "I'd rather have currito or mission bbq" just aren't looking for the nutritional benefits. I've been to this establishment several times and currently subscribe to a weekly meal prep service; I haven't had a meal that I've hated yet. As a person that works out regularly on top of a 60hr a week job, I'm always on the go and meal prepping my own food takes quite a bit of time. Since my weekly grocery bill for meal prep was very close to the price I'd pay for someone else to make it, I figured I'd try it out. I was happy with the very friendly service and the quickness that I received my order. It was nice to have a variety of meals to choose from because eating the same meal every day can cause burnout. My favorite meal so far is the chipotle chicken Mac and cheese. I've tried the cauliflower pizza, the shakes, and the drinks. Everything tasted pretty good and the price is fair. I'm willing to bet if I had 10 meals from mission bbq for my lunch and dinner instead of clean eatz, I'd have low energy levels and be well into obesity. So for the people that are looking for fine dining at a three star restaurant with three course meals, and little to no nutritional value, this is NOT the place for you . For the people that care about their lifestyle and what goes into their body, I highly recommend."

Couldn't be more delighted to have them in our area.The restaurant is clean, trendy, not overly loud (usually has a game on in the background) and fast. The chicken tenders are good, but their sauce selection gives them bonus points. I'm a fan of the Korean bbq, red chili, and the cayenne ranch. We also love that you can sub out their fries (which are still good) with fried pickles. Not to mention that our kids love their Mac n cheese. It's real pasta in a white cheese sauce. No cheese crust. I mean, I like cheese crust, but kids can be picky.And they won't break the bank either. A family of four can eat here for $30. These days, that's an amazing deal.This location also has an enclosed outdoor eating area if you're into the patio atmosphere."
