Peg M. "The three of us lived in Hyde Park or Pleasant Ridge for decades, driving often by Asiana and never stopping. Last night, that changed, and we will all be stopping again, frequently! The sushi is fresh and world class and the housemade rice noodles are as good as Greg, the owner with his wife, promised. Even though they were busy, they were happy to prepare this vegetarian's Massamun curry without fish sauce. Everything we ordered was delectable and we loved that Greg took time to stop at our table, tell their story and offer recommendations from their sizable, well-priced Thai and sushi menu. The dining room is small, but the tables turned pretty quickly and they clearly do a big carry out business. One thing to note: it's BYOB, although our server cheerfully provided glasses and an opener. Wine Merchant is at the end of the block with a great selection, including a dry riesling that paired well with our meal."

The service here is awesome, with staff going out of their way to offer trending recommendations, making every guest feel special. The food is where this place truly shines. Each dish, from the tangy soups and salads to the rich Yello Curry, is a burst of authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The Pad Thai deserves a special mention for its perfect blend of sweet, sour, and savory, making it a dish you'll crave long after your meal.Innovative takes on traditional dishes add a delightful twist, ensuring there's something new for even the most seasoned Thai cuisine aficionados. We thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Coconut Milk Soup, Rainbow Roll, Mango Chicken, Yellow Curry along with some Pineapple Poppers and 21's!Thai 9 isn't just about great food; it's about an experience that combines impeccable service with an inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic and creatively prepared Thai dishes!"

Shantell P. "So this little place is Magical to say the least. Thai food is an all time favorite of mine and this place hit the spot. The sushi and Nigiri was so fresh and delicious. They also have some exotic fish options for Nigiri that you don't usually see like the Clam that is pictured. If you've never had Vietnamese coffee, this is your sign it is the best coffee in the world in my opinion. For entrees, if you don't want sushi I 100% recommend the Mango Curry. I asked the waiter and this was his choice and it was a great one. For spice level I got a 2/3 and it was just spicy enough without being unbearable. If you're in Oakley (or not it's honestly worth the drive) stop in!"

Lots of vegetarian options! We are transplants from Seattle and we're skeptical that we could find great Thai food - we found it here! Call ahead for quick takeout. Very limited seating inside."

I ordered the blackened steak with asparagus, brown rice, and salad for takeout. Ordering on the website was very easy, and my order was ready when I arrived. The interior is beautiful with a full bar and sushi bar as well. My meal was outstanding, and there was so much that I saved the rest for dinner. This is a must try for anyone in the Dayton area!"

Renuka J. "This place is awesome! I ordered take out through Uber Eats. Portion sizes are great for the price. The flavor of the food is absolutely incredible! I ordered a chicken pad Thai with an extra side of tofu, Tom kha soup with chicken as the hotpot size, and crab Rangoons. The pad Thai had a great amount of both chicken and tofu. Portion size was incredible! The styrofoam box was stuffed to the brims. I ordered a spice level 3 but I probably will go for the next level up next time (I love spicier food).I love that this place offers a larger size for their soups! I feel like most Thai restaurants only offer the one standard size of soup and sometimes it's just not enough. The hotpot size was a larger Tupperware and again with a good portion of chicken. The crab Rangoon were so flavorful and the sauce that comes with them was very yummy. I was actually impressed by how the restaurant packed them - they cut holes into the corners of the styrofoam. At first I found this to be strange but I quickly understood the purpose of this as for the first time ever with take out, my crab Rangoons were still nice and crispy, as if I was eating them in the restaurant.I will definitely be going back here again and can't wait to try more items there."

Manson L. "The place looks very clean. The bathroom is a little outdated but well maintained and clean. The staff was clean and friendly. If you like Spicy foods the heat levels on some of the meals go from 5 to 25. I ordered the orange chicken at a level 3 because I've become a sissy with the spice levels. It was tasty. The color threw me off at first because it didn't match the normal orange chicken I've had else where's, but it tasted very good. Wife had the Spicy Thai Noodles at a level 5 because she can handle the spicy stuff. She said she enjoyed it also. The restaurant is in a large white building that sits directly across the street from the City of Monroe building. Signage for the place is small and hard to see. I would recommend the place and will come back."

Ben N. "We lived in New Orleans from 1995 to 2007. When I moved there, I was well aware of the city's illustrious dining reputation and that fresh Gulf of Mexico seafood was a big part of that legacy. What never occurred to me was that the bounty of fresh fish would also make New Orleans a great sushi town. We took plenty of advantage of that during the decade-plus we lived there. (Back in those days, the NOLA sushi joints weren't exactly adventurous, but there were a number of places where everything would always be super-fresh and well-executed--and very reasonably priced.)When we moved to Cincinnati, I knew our sushi habits were going to take a hit, but holy crap, I had no idea how big of one. For the most part, sushi was absolutely atrocious here in 2007. An embarrassment. We did eventually discover Ando, which was terrific, and Mei, which is very solid, too; there were also a couple of excellent Japanese options over on the Kentucky side, but they're like 30-40-minute drives for us. But damn, the ones closest to us, Ando and Mei (especially Ando), can break the bank if you don't watch it.But we basically gave up on trying to find a worthwhile mid-priced sushi place in or around the city. Not long ago, though, a little birdie told my wife about Mint Bistro, and although I was skeptical, the wife had some reason to trust this source. Our source was largely correct, thank Christ: Mint Bistro gives you a solid sushi experience without burning up your wallet. It's an Asian fusion place, which I probably reduces the sushi selection you get here, but there's plenty to put together a satisfying sushi meal. We've had some good nigiri (salmon, yellowtail, and fatty tuna have been pretty great, all with some of that melt-in-your-mouth butteriness), and we've really liked the Sunkissed Roll (pretty simple, just a spicy tuna roll topped with salmon and avocado) the couple of times we've had it.The couple of apps we've tried haven't been quite as good: seaweed salad is pretty basic and okay, but gyoza were quite bland. The proprietors have done a tasteful job with the place--it's a sharp-looking and comfortable little restaurant, and nicely lit. The staff has been welcoming, pleasant, and helpful, too.We have to drive at least 20 minutes to get to Mint, but so far it's easily worth the extra time compared to some of the Asian fusion/sushi places five minutes or less from our house (almost all of which we don't even go to). That ought to tell you a lot right there."

I walked into the restaurant and was greeted at the counter by the friendly cashier. I ordered a Garlic Fried Rice with Shrimp (Spice Level 3) and a Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp (Spice Level 2). That's right, PINEAPPLE Fried Rice with Shrimp. What's even better, they wasted no time in preparing my food. In fact, every staff person was hard at work around the restaurant. This is a very good sign, because if they care about the restaurant, they care about the food they serve. We opened the boxes after arriving home, and the smell of the food was amazing! The Garlic Fried Rice with Shrimp had a wonderful flavor. The garlic was not overpowering, and not too light. It was just right with plenty of vegetables and rice. The Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp was equally as good, with a bit of sweetness. Again, not overpowering, but just right.I would highly recommend this place for people who would like Fried Rice a bit out of the norm. It will be worth it!"

Chili oil was provided along with vinegar dipping sauce which came in a plastic take away pot.The Combination Pho was a good size and had plenty of meat and noodles within. Bean spouts, limes, Thai basil and jalapeños came on the side. I have never had a Thai curry dish, but it was wonderful. I got the Dayton Curry with shrimp: Thai yellow curry sauce in coconut milk with potato, red & green bell pepper, onion, pineapple, mango, carrot and basil leaves. Served with jasmine rice. Thai curry is more soupy then Indian curry. The sweet coconut balance the heat, I got spicy level 2 and found it to be just where I like spiciness, I might even be able to go to three. I poured my Dayton curry over the rice and ate it with a spoon. We also got an order of crab Rangoon and edamame, egg rolls all are good."

We went for the first time last week and have already been back since because of the service and the amazing food. The service is top notch. Everyone in there is engaged and helpful. Managers walk by to greet you and joke around with you which I loved. It felt like a community driven environment. The food was so good and there is still so much that I want to try. "O.M.G....I have found the authentic Thai restaurant in Kentucky -- Nat's is it!!Nat's is a very unassuming lil takeout only restaurant tucked into the side of McCarthy's Irish Bar and shares a front entrance with an Irish gift shop. It sounds odd, but totally worked! My friend and I walked up one afternoon, ordered food inside the restaurant, was told by the owner to "go next door, order a drink and he will bring the food over". We went to McCarthy's, ordered a couple of Pepsi and sat in the cutest nook by the window. Our orders arrived soon: Kobe beef grapao, shrimp salad. Wow! The flavors are sharp, distinct and intense, like Thai flavors are supposed to be. I would say the grapao's spice level is about medium for me. The salad was so spicy that I couldn't finish it. If you have the tendency to want "Thai Hot" in your dishes, this is the place that can serve it up! If you look at the photos poated by other Yelpers, you'll see many other special menu items not found at any other local Thai places. i cannot wait to come back for them!Btw, there is also a nice courtyard next door w available seating during warmer months."

We started with an order of avacado egg rolls. I ordered the Pad Thai, and hubby ordered the Duck Noodle Soup. I should probably mention she asked me what spice level for the Pad Thai (1 to 5), and I said 0. Lol. While we waited for our food (less than five minutes), we admired the beautiful restaurant and saw many Doordashers and other people picking up take-out orders. While we were there, only one other party joined us in the dining room, but there were at least 7 take-out orders. When the food arrived, it was really hot and smelled amazing. When I took my first bite of my Pad Thai, my immediate involuntary response was to verbalize a big mmmmmmm. I haven't experienced Pad Thai that good in 20 years! The owner was very friendly and accommodating with substitutions, questions, and suggestions about what sat her restaurant apart from other Thai places. I ordered a curry with a fish substitution and it was fantastic, with layers of flavor that complimented the fish rather than overwhelmed it. I had a small salad to start the meal and what came out wasn't that small - in fact it would be a lunch "entrée" salad at some other places! My friend enjoyed her dish, and a few weeks later she placed a doordash order from here and they delivered a much larger (and suitably more expensive) dinner.
