"Delicious as always!! We don't get out to El Coyote very often any more because it's far from us. But it is so worth the drive!! All of our meals were perfect. Service was great! And I had the best margarita ever! Yum!!"
"It's been a while since I've been here but it was good as usual. Our server was super nice and we got our food really quickly. The tacos were fantastic and they have some really unique combinations. The chips and salsa bar is always a favorite, and they play great music."
"Consistently great food and service at an excellent price. Chips and salsa are always delivered in a timely manner, as are beverages. Food is prepared quickly and hot. All the employees are friendly and personable. This is my favorite Mexican lunch spot."
"What a nice little place! We were greeted right away by a friendly server. Chips and salsa were being placed on the table seconds after we sat down. They also brought waters. The salsa is always my first test and they passed. That's always a good sign. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas. We got the Texanas. It was very good and there was a clear presence of alcohol. Another good sign. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced and they had a great selection. Two of us ordered fajitas and the other ordered burritos. The food came out all at the same time and it looked really good. The portions were HUGE. Everything tasted as good as it looked. Another good sign. The service here was excellent. When in the area craving Mexican, this is your place! We walked out of a nearby Mexican place that stunk badly and didn't serve alcohol. It was also empty. Las Margaritas had a good crowd."
"We came here for happy hour after work. Love the open air feel and the hip, colorful atmosphere!! We had friendly and fast service. We only had drinks with chips and salsa but I will definitely be back for tacos!!!"
"National margaritas day, buy a jumbo and get one for a $1! This one is mango and very very good!"

We love El Coyote. The chips, salsa, steak and loaded mashed potatoes are my favorites. The ambience is TexMex. And our sweet waitress did a great job. Can't wait to go back.

Stopped in with my uncle for a lunch. The atmosphere is very casual, seat yourself and self serve chips and salsa. The music was a little loud for a Sunday lunch but we made do. My uncle got the taco salad which he enjoyed and I got two tacos. The tinka chicken taco was good the taco was flavorful although I could do with a little more spice. The Baja shrimp taco was lacking a little in my opinion since I only had about three small shrimp pieces so I think I'll stick to the chicken if I'm ever back. The service was okay, nothing really stood out to me. Our server was polite and the food was out quickly so I can't complain. All in all an okay experience.

We discovered Jalapeños thirty years ago and at that time it was hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Lexington. Absolutely authentic, amazing food and consistent quality. We moved to the northern part of the state 25 years ago, but were able to enjoy a location there for several years until it closed. We missed it and could never find a suitable replacement. Now, decades later, we're still visiting the remaining location and enjoying the same great food, friendly atmosphere and service, and the same amazing authentic recipes as at the beginning. Jalapeños is a Lexington institution. All the others are just wannabes.

This is a place you come not only for #TacoTuesday, but every time you are craving amazing tacos and margaritas. For me this happens quite often (I may or may not have visited this place 3x in one week), and Las Margaritas hit the spot every time. Las Margaritas is a small family owned restaurant, located in the middle-ish of a shopping plaza. So far I've only gotten the Taco de Carne Asada (Steak Tacos-3) which comes with pico de Gallo, tomatillo salsa, rice and beans. This meal is the bomb, and very fulfilling. So what should you expect in addition to the awesome food? Crispy chips and housemade salsa, BOOOOOZY Margaritas (splurge on the Cadillac Margarita at least once), and excellent customer service. I truly enjoy the chill atmosphere as I indulge in the Mexican food goodness.Las Margaritas has food and drink specials each day, and offers happy hour Mon-Sat 4p-6p (closed Sunday). Dine here soon, and tell them C.Rich sent you ; ) Until next time, Cheers! -C.Rich

Yum! No matter what I order, it's always amazing. The only downside is that they can be a little slow during lunch, so plan accordingly.

The food that we had was generally pretty good. The Molcajete is huge and enough to share for two, just ask for more tortillas. The Mushroom quesadilla was excellent. Prices are on the higher side for Mexican food. The restaurant was very clean and service was excellent.

The place is pretty. It's new. It's clean. It has alcohol, happy hour and live music. It's so loud in there. It's like being at a concert or a sporting event. The food is bland. They have HUGE dinnerware, but where's the "BEEF" guy's. The meat was scarce in all our meals. We abandoned our normal Mexican restaurant for the new kid in town in hopes that this could be our new go to Mexican place. We were seated right away. It was extremely loud. The music was songs from 1970's old family sitcoms, not something expected from a Mexican venue. The menu is huge. There's pretty many photos that show you what you'll be getting. I really expected more from my chicken chimichanga. There were many bits of bland tasting chicken wrapped in a soggy shell covered with cheese sauce and bits of uncooked onions on top. On the side was the rice which was orange tasteless and room temp. With a bowl of black beans in the side. The pork chimichanga was a bit more flavorful but had large chunks of fat inside. The steak fajitas were short on steak and more tortillas are an additional charge. The cover of this book looks great. There's just no meat inside.

Had to try the new place that opened up in little old Hebron! You walk in, and walk up to the counter to order. Standard kind of stuff - tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, chips and salsa. They then bring your food to your table. They serve Pepsi products, and they also have a liquor license, should you desire something stronger. We ordered tacos, chips and salsa. Note - chips and salsa are not complimentary, you pay for them. But - they have a salsa bar, with many different types, so you can try several. Our food was out quickly, so that was a plus!I tried the Tijuana style taco (steak and guacamole). It was excellent! Also tried the birria taco, very good as well. My only wish was that it would have included the birria dipping sauce. I think next time I'll get the birria quesadilla just for that purpose. My wife did their steak and pastor tacos. No complaints from us on any of the food. It was very good, and I'm sure we'll be visiting again. I think this will be a nice addition to the neighborhood!

"A solid 4 star restaurant! They're not perfect but pretty dang close! The decor really stands out as fresh, clean, ranch style. High ceilings, browns and blues, modern tile throughout- a really nice space! Weekday evening for dinner with the family was very good. The menu is HUGE, like, too huge. Took us forever to find a chimichanga on the menu but they have it indeed! Hubs got the chimichanga, I went with a Combo #1 with two enchiladas, one taco and rice. Kiddos split a cheese quesadilla and endless chips with salsa. Highly recommend also ordering the white cheese for dipping! It was delicious. The owner/manager personally came over to verify our coupon, $7 off two entrees. They're looking for the "Town Money Saver" stamp, so make sure to look it up before you head in! As far as prices, I think all the meals were well priced. We did not partake in alcohol since it was family night but the drinks passing us by looked large and yummy! I wouldn't say they're my favorite when it comes to salsa but it's pretty good. Enchiladas were perfect. Kiddos demolished the quesadilla and chips. We will definitely come back!"
"Different from your typical Mexican place. More modern. Delicious. We had a steak bowl and a carnitas bowl. Very good. They have tortas, burritos, and tacos and more. The self-serve salsa bar is a nice touch. I tried the mild. Delicious with a tangy hints of lime. We also ordered guacamole. Very chunky which I like but maybe a little too much red onion. Chips were delicious. Hubs got the Dos Equis dark on tap. They also have a self serve Pepsi fountain. Nice fun atmosphere with great service. Good prices too."
"This is THE place to get great food at a family owned business. We go there once a week because it's that good and affordable. Get any of their authentic Mexican food or try the eggs Benedict. Or the Diablo pasta, or a burger."
"Ate there for the first time today. In short-Amazing. Located in an old garage and just looking at the outside I would never have gone in. But a friend told me it was very good so I gave them a try. Large generous servings and very authentic Mexican food. A list of several meats are shown on back of menu. I had the burrito with steak filling. Meat was tender and delicious. My wife has the tostados with chicken and said they were delicious. Will definitely go back. A unique experience."
"Had nothing but great meals, drinks and service here. Staff is friendly. Lots of seating and parking. Easy on and off the interstate. Tray the southern fried Tacos. Love the corn in the cob."
"The food is great and the staff is friendly and courteous every time I visit. The taco salad is rated the best in the city for a good reason!!"
"American style taco dishes - what's not to love? This place is truly underrated. One of the best lunches on a budget there is. The food is cooked fresh and tastes amazing. The staff are friendly and hardworking. It's no wonder they've been in business so long."
"This is one of those joints where, not unlike Chipotle and Qdoba, you tell the person behind the sneeze guard what you want in/on your burrito / taco / bowl of stuff. Yes, there is lettuce and sour cream available, so don't worry, Hoosier. You can have all you want.I opted for a refried bean, rice and cheese burrito, because I'm forever trying to find a good BRC burrito in Indiana. This was not my day to find one, though. What I got tasted like a burrito full of oatmeal because it was so bland and flavorless. Really, if they would have just salted the beans and rice, I'm sure my burrito would have been decent. I think they make them bland because they assume that everyone is going to order a burrito with meat in it, which is probably flavorful and adequately salted, and so the other components of the burrito don't have to shine. They are so wrong, though! Each has to taste good or else it all fails. And it all failed. It's in a mall, though, so what should I have expected, right? But I had some hopes for it when I saw that everyone behind the counter was Hispanic. That is usually a good sign when you are judging Mexican food. My search for a good BRC burrito goes on ..."
