"The three of us lived in Hyde Park or Pleasant Ridge for decades, driving often by Asiana and never stopping. Last night, that changed, and we will all be stopping again, frequently! The sushi is fresh and world class and the housemade rice noodles are as good as Greg, the owner with his wife, promised. Even though they were busy, they were happy to prepare this vegetarian's Massamun curry without fish sauce. Everything we ordered was delectable and we loved that Greg took time to stop at our table, tell their story and offer recommendations from their sizable, well-priced Thai and sushi menu. The dining room is small, but the tables turned pretty quickly and they clearly do a big carry out business. One thing to note: it's BYOB, although our server cheerfully provided glasses and an opener. Wine Merchant is at the end of the block with a great selection, including a dry riesling that paired well with our meal."
"So this little place is Magical to say the least. Thai food is an all time favorite of mine and this place hit the spot. The sushi and Nigiri was so fresh and delicious. They also have some exotic fish options for Nigiri that you don't usually see like the Clam that is pictured. If you've never had Vietnamese coffee, this is your sign it is the best coffee in the world in my opinion. For entrees, if you don't want sushi I 100% recommend the Mango Curry. I asked the waiter and this was his choice and it was a great one. For spice level I got a 2/3 and it was just spicy enough without being unbearable. If you're in Oakley (or not it's honestly worth the drive) stop in!"
Spicy. Thai special mango yellow sauce in coconut milk, with mango chunk, pineapple chunk, red pepper, onion, tomato, baby corn, snow pea, and mixed peas.

"This place is absolutely outstanding. First the motif is horse racing which totally fits in Lexington. It's just a classic old school steakhouse in many ways. The food is absolutely scrumptious. The crab cakes were some of the best I have ever had. Mostly crab and not filler. I also had the Bourbon Fillet for my main course. I am not usually a fillet fan but this came with shrimp and grits as well. Just an amazing piece of meet and the shrimp and grits were the bomb. Amazing. Service was pretty good but could have been better. Our meal was delayed somewhat and we had to ask the waitress about it. In a place this expensive where you pay $80 or more for a steak, you shouldn't have to ask. They should come to you. Still service was better than most places so it isn't affecting my stars. Finally - the Old Fashioned they serve is ridiculously sweet. They told me it was sweet. It was so sweet and strong I couldn't drink it. The server took it back and brought me a Manhattan instead which was much better. But this is a matter of taste. Just letting readers know in case they are interested."
"Sky Asian Cuisine is an amazing Asian restaurant that I've driven past countless times. I received a menu in the mail and decided to try it. I ordered the blackened steak with asparagus, brown rice, and salad for takeout. Ordering on the website was very easy, and my order was ready when I arrived. The interior is beautiful with a full bar and sushi bar as well. My meal was outstanding, and there was so much that I saved the rest for dinner. This is a must try for anyone in the Dayton area!"
"This place is a hole in the wall. In need of many repairs. If you can get past that, I would recommend it 100%. Good sushi and kind staff."
"You can't find better sushi for a better price anywhere in Cincinnati! Open late at night, fast, friendly service, dive-y atmosphere."
"Service is always excellent, warm inviting atmosphere cozy bar area perfect for a date night dinner!"
"Favorite Asian food in Cincy! Tucked in a strip mall on Wooster pike which is easy to drive but you don't want to miss it. Haven't ever dined in but the take out orders are always on time. Crab Rangoon, Mango Tree roll, and drunken noodles are our staples. Reasonably priced for the amount of food"
"Isaac was super sweet thank you for your kind service. Veggie spring rolls were so tasty crunch wrap supreme. Who is Mr sushi and why did he?Thank you kisses"
"This is some of the best sushi in town. You would never guess based on the outside but this place is the real deal. Most sushi in Cincinnati is pretty bad but these guys deliver and have ridiculously low prices. I'm talking real sushi not deep fried trash. Fish is good. Rice is good. Rolls are good. Sashimi is perfect. Don't judge a book by its cover. Get here now."
"Overall , the meal was average and I feel like I am rounding up.The sushi rolls were standard and I enjoyed them as well as the chicken wings. Both entrees left much to be desired. The chicken katsu was dry, the breading was detached and it needed seasoning and a more substantial sauce. The bulgogi beef also lacked flavor and sauce."
"We lived in New Orleans from 1995 to 2007. When I moved there, I was well aware of the city's illustrious dining reputation and that fresh Gulf of Mexico seafood was a big part of that legacy. What never occurred to me was that the bounty of fresh fish would also make New Orleans a great sushi town. We took plenty of advantage of that during the decade-plus we lived there. (Back in those days, the NOLA sushi joints weren't exactly adventurous, but there were a number of places where everything would always be super-fresh and well-executed--and very reasonably priced.)When we moved to Cincinnati, I knew our sushi habits were going to take a hit, but holy crap, I had no idea how big of one. For the most part, sushi was absolutely atrocious here in 2007. An embarrassment. We did eventually discover Ando, which was terrific, and Mei, which is very solid, too; there were also a couple of excellent Japanese options over on the Kentucky side, but they're like 30-40-minute drives for us. But damn, the ones closest to us, Ando and Mei (especially Ando), can break the bank if you don't watch it.But we basically gave up on trying to find a worthwhile mid-priced sushi place in or around the city. Not long ago, though, a little birdie told my wife about Mint Bistro, and although I was skeptical, the wife had some reason to trust this source. Our source was largely correct, thank Christ: Mint Bistro gives you a solid sushi experience without burning up your wallet. It's an Asian fusion place, which I probably reduces the sushi selection you get here, but there's plenty to put together a satisfying sushi meal. We've had some good nigiri (salmon, yellowtail, and fatty tuna have been pretty great, all with some of that melt-in-your-mouth butteriness), and we've really liked the Sunkissed Roll (pretty simple, just a spicy tuna roll topped with salmon and avocado) the couple of times we've had it.The couple of apps we've tried haven't been quite as good: seaweed salad is pretty basic and okay, but gyoza were quite bland. The proprietors have done a tasteful job with the place--it's a sharp-looking and comfortable little restaurant, and nicely lit. The staff has been welcoming, pleasant, and helpful, too.We have to drive at least 20 minutes to get to Mint, but so far it's easily worth the extra time compared to some of the Asian fusion/sushi places five minutes or less from our house (almost all of which we don't even go to). That ought to tell you a lot right there."

Ate here with my husband and daughter the night before flying home to Texas. Incredible experience all around. Had delicious food and the service was above and beyond. Everyone had a smile on their face and went out of their way to please us. Best Crab Rangoon was the best I ever tasted. My daughter was thrilled to get a hug from one of the waitresses, she got two balloons and another special gift before leaving. So sweet. Love the family owned vibe here. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We need more places like this in the world. Your kindness and overall customer service was touching.

Came here because our group wanted some Thai food! We came just after they opened and got speedy service. The atmosphere is very serene with lots of plants and a little water fountain. It's not huge inside, there's tables and then a little bar. When ordering their spice levels are only 1-3, so I got pad Thai at a level 1 spice and it wasn't spicy at all (which I enjoyed). My mom got a level 2 spice and it "had some kick to it" as she would say. My food was yummy, not the best thing I've ever ate, but I'd definitely order it again. The menu has plenty of options so will be back to try more in the future.

Long weekend in Lexington to visit the Bourbon trail. Lucky us, it also happened to be ScareFest weekend which gave us a lot to look at around town! We were staying at the Marriott downtown and had trouble locking down dinner reservations along the way, but this magical place opened up and we grabbed it.The best part is that it is literally next door to the hotel. The next best part is that it has a really fun interior centered around Jeff Rubys awards with a horse racing theme and a giant grand piano on a stage in the bar area. It's very very loud inside, we chose (well not by choice, it's all they had) an outdoor table but it was cool so they had the tent over it with the most unnecessary powerful heaters made by man. We immediately asked to move and the table next to us had done the same so they just turned them off, hooray for customer service. The number of waiters in the restaurant is boggling. I wasn't entirely sure the whole time who was my actual waiter but I think that might have impacted our experience a bit. We had to ask for lots of things (like forks and spoons), but we survived. They had a good (and pricey) wine list and a great selection of drinks! The big let down for us was the lack of sushi. The website says there is a celebrated sushi chef onsite and the special selections looked so good, I know it's weird to expect this at a steakhouse but we actually got excited, but when we arrived we were told they "don't do sushi really on the weekends".., what? So we sadly pivoted. I ordered the kale salad, thankfully one of our waiters told me I just want half not whole and when it arrived even half was huge. It was good but it felt like it was missing the dressing. I had the lobster tail for my main, it was delicious, I had creamed spinach on the side which was good but so over the top rich, I only had a few bites.Overall, it was a fun experience, I would like a do over. Hopefully when the sushi chef is back.

It had been some time since I visited. We arrived early, right as it opened for dinner. A large Kettering roll was ordered. I got a Happy Buddha beer. It was a hoppy lager. We got orders of Low Mein and a Pad Thai. Later, dessert as well. That was fried banana and the cheesecake. The staff are cordial and polite. The food is subtle and fresh. The decor is chic and inviting. It would be a 5 rating if we had been checked on and hadn't had to wait for water refills for most of the time there.

Definitely one of the best Kimchi jjigae I have ever had. Parking is limited and the inside is small too however the food is so good and worth the wait. When the meals comes out it does look small however once you start eating more than likely you will not be able to finish the dish. Services was great our drinks never went empty, the food came out quick, and like I said above so good. Definitely check this place out. Tip: if you check in on yelp you get a free order of eddanome. I hope you enjoy this little place as much as we do

My favorite cheap sushi restaurant in Cincinnati. Very basic restaurant and not somewhere you go for the ambiance. The quality is good for the price. Lots of options for sushi rolls.

My friend brought me here for my birthday and we loved it. As others have said, it's surprising to find such fine dining in what is basically a strip mall. Max was our waiter, and he was wonderful...I loved his British accent.Since it was restaurant week we opted for the special menu. My friend had a Caesar salad, chicken and Creme Brulee. I had lobster bisque, salmon, and creme brulee. The bisque didn't have any lobster in it (which was disappointing) but had tons of flavor. My salmon was perfect in every way. Creme brulee was served cold (a surprise) but had a really good flavor.Wine list was great, as was the house Pinot Grigio. Restaurant week was price was very reasonable for what we had. Now I want to go back and try their happy hour!

So far for me, Ichiban was tops in Cincinnati for this particular cuisine, but one of my high fallootin Executive friends said to try Mango Tree so...Mango Tree was in a quaint little spot in a strip mall off Wooster Pike. I rarely frequent that area, but was coming from a car dealership on that side of town so...The Mexican restaurant next door played their music a bit too loud..but that's just me being persnickety. On to the food. I had:Thai Chicken salad 8 of 10 starsUltimate Philadelphia Roll 10 of 10 starsSan Pellegrino was my drink. It was a pleasant surprise because at home all I have is San Pellegrino and Panna...so that was a bonus.Of course, nothing is going to be better than Ichiban in Mt Lookout due to the frequency of visits and selection of items. One day we'll see...but Mango Tree is good to go so far...

"Always the best version of every normal dish I would order. Love the food here!!! Cheng du pork and lo mein are my faves!!! Also the crab rangoons are wonderful!!"
"We were in town (Dayton) for a conference and had a hankering for sushi. This place seemed very popular, as I heard a regular chatting with the owner. If my hearing was correct, I overheard them say they were opening another restaurant. That would be nice, as there wasn't much parking and the restaurant was small.I got the Crab Rangoon (8 pieces) and it was skillfully prepared. They were very generous with the dipping sauce too. I also got Egg Drop Soup, and it was the largest serving of soup I have ever had! For $2.50!My husband got two different sushis. Unfortunately, the Sweet 16 Roll was unlike any type of sushi one could expect, being extremely sweet. I'll tell you why: spicy lobster salad, shrimp tempura, and fried BANANA, wrapped in soybean nori, with MANGO sauce on top. It was sweetness overload, and the pieces were too large. In fact, it appeared that there were a lot of items on the menu with mango sauce. The second sushi was some type of spicy tuna, and the pieces were too small. The disparity between the tastes and sizes made for a weird experience. But guess what? We returned the next night with six friends, and they enjoyed their meals. It was nice that OSU852 had an extensive menu to suit everyone's taste."
"People have been telling us that the food here is delicious and reasonable. Our lunch was indescribable and really good."
"This is almost always a stop for me when I'm in town!!! Wabi Sabi never disappoints!!I usually get the fan favorite... Sunday Morning (if you are new to sushi, definitely a good one to try!) Plus they have so many menu options, I wish I lived closer so I could try them all!!We always get seated so fast, and the workers are so nice! I have never waited for than 20 mins for my food to come out, even when it's packed so I know they are all hard workers!! It is a smaller sized restaurant, but they have even more seating in the back that you can't see from the front!!This is an awesome sushi place that I definitely recommend!! I will be back next time I'm in town!!! Till then... enjoy the sushi for me!!"
"Service was very friendly and helpful. I got the miso soup and fried green beans and we got a bunch of rolls and a teriyaki platter with shrimp (yum!). We ate the green beans so quickly and I didn't have a chance to take a photo. We loved them. All the rolls were good and made fresh - of course our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so we took home the left overs. We also got the saki strawberry to drink - we'd highly recommend. Great flavor! We'll be back! And yes, a game was on the t.v."
"My husband and I grabbed dinner at Teak when we came downtown for Blink 2024. Our server was extremely sweet and polite, and despite being extremely busy, we received our drinks and food pretty fast. For an appetizer, we shared the Crab Puffs, which were out of this world! Such great flavor, and the sauce that came with it was the perfect complement. For my entree, I ordered Pad Thai with Shrimp, and my husband ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. Both dishes were excellent. (I, of course, had to try my husband's rice.) And, finally, the ambiance is cozy, even though it can become quite loud at times. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, I highly recommend Teak! Bon Appétit!"
"The service and food were delicious! We went there for our daughter's 16th and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was cooked deliciously and my kids enjoyed our time!"
"Worth going out of your way! If you're not sure about Korean, and you like Japanese cuisine, this is a perfect place to try the Korean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I love this place more and more over the years."
"Service was great. Food was delicious. I got beef with crispy pad Thai noodles. No complaints at all."
"We really liked Mei Japanese Restaurant! The food was great, the interior was very well done and the staff were excellent! My daughter and I were craving ramen one afternoon, and decided to try Mei. I had a great miso ramen and my daughter had curry katsu udon. She loved her and mine was excellent! Great portions served piping hot. The friendly server suggested a hot lemon citrus drink for me which was outstanding . The menu is quite broad - lots of sushi and many other Japanese dishes that we would like to try in a future visit. We were the only customers in the restaurant but that was not surprising since we were there on New Year's Eve day, at an odd time in between lunch and dinner. The interior space is very well done, with lots of seating. The location was the strange part - sort of behind a car dealer in an odd little "neighborhood" of businesses in what look like ranch style houses? Definitely the landlord should invest a few bucks in sprucing up the exterior commercial spaces (Mei looks fine but some of the other buildings could use some TLC), but none of that impact Mei - Mei shines once you get inside. Lots of parking, welcoming staff and great food. We'll be back!"
"Dined for lunch today and it was wonderful! Service was excellent and can't wait to go back and try more fresh sushi!"
"Solid option for Hibachi in the NKY area. After we were seated the server took our drink order. Beer and waters came out pretty quickly. However a few of us ordered cocktails and it took a while to receive them. I was not super impressed with the cocktails. They had a very artificial sweet taste to them. Miyako does portion sizes well. I had three meals out of my one order, and it tasted delicious. I chose the chicken hibachi. If you are going with another person definitely go for the dinner for two option-it's the most bang for your buck!"
"Fun atmosphere if you eat inside, but they do take out really well. Someone immediately comes to your car when you park in the curbside pick up area even in the rain, which I appreciate. I live pretty close by and order the mini cheeseburgers with a side of their sweet potato fries occasionally and the sweet potato fries are killer and the burgers are really good. Their steaks are amazing always cooked correctly. The staff has always been very nice. No matter who it is."
"Sooooo delicious! Tom Kha Kra Pao Gai basil chicken and sushi! Mom and pop place !!!!!!!!!!!!"
"A new lifelong customer! I had always walked past this place while in Crestview and saw it is usually pretty busy and that is what led us to trying it out. Though it was busy, we were seated promptly. There is plenty of space for seating so not sure that a reservation is necessary. We went for the first time last week and have already been back since because of the service and the amazing food. The service is top notch. Everyone in there is engaged and helpful. Managers walk by to greet you and joke around with you which I loved. It felt like a community driven environment. The food was so good and there is still so much that I want to try. I highly recommend the Thai tea or Thai coffee to start as both were amazing. I got the crispy pad Thai and it was a huge portion made just right. I also got the mango curry here and it was equally as amazing. I will be coming here every time I have a craving for Thai food or sushi."
"Excellent service from everyone. Good is exceptional. The surprise was three tools when I ordered Spicy Combo Roll. All delicious. My husband had Rice with beef. We enjoyed our meal on a cold winter night."
"Amazing food in a cool atmosphere and we had great service.I truly think this menu has something for everyone: salads, sushi, bowls, burgers...I love bringing family and friends here when they come to visit. Everyone is always pleased with the food.I had been to the Hyde Park location several times, but this was my first time at the newer Banks location. I really liked it and look forward to returning!"
"I ordered the hibachi steak and chicken with fried rice, plus broccoli and onion added on (for $1 each) and an order of crab Rangoon. Added a ginger sauce for $.50 too. The hibachi was good overall. The chicken was flavorful and cooked well. The rice, broccoli, onion and mushroom all seemed to be made from fresh produce too. The steak was quite chewy, so I wouldn't order it again. The yum yum sauce and ginger sauce were good but a little runny. Crab Rangoon was standard. Crispy and full of cream cheese. It comes with sweet and sour sauce as opposed too sweet chili. I only did carryout so my interaction with staff was limited - not super welcoming but they were dead so probably just bored. Overall I would order from there again."
"My sister and I were around the corner at Top Golf and were craving sushi! I checked out Yelp recs and stumbled upon Sushi Samurais and I'm so glad I did! It was delicious! We shared the ocean crab roll, Hawaiian roll & tuna lava roll. Great added touch of real chopsticks instead of disposables. Delicious!"
"Another top restaurant in Cincinnati. I've been here four times and the food has been amazing every time. I love Thai food and this place doesn't disappoint at all.The THAI WINGS are so good! They are crispy everytime with a flavorful sauce (ask for extra) and fresh peanuts and scallions. The DRUNKEN NOODLES have been a great addition to my life. Get the spice level that you can handle (I can do 6 at best cause it can get spicy)! I've had some different items such as the golden bags, dumplings, and duck salad that were really good. A nice quiet spot that you can enjoy a great night! The employees are really nice too!"
"We were driving from Atlanta Cincinnati and were looking for a place to stop for dinner and to watch college football.Drake's was perfect! We enjoyed patty melts and beer at the bar. Delicious melts and lots of beers on tap!! Pro tip, there are 2 big bars, as well as tables available. It is a huge place. The servers and bartenders are SUPER NICE!! Never let our glasses go empty, even when we had switched to Diet Coke and water (had another hour to drive). Will definitely return!! Cheers!!"
"Honestly this place was where my husband and I had our first lunch togather. We stopped to have dinner there tonite. The place looks very different! They have all the tables spaced out, and even got rid of the ugly carpet. The population was pretty sparce. The waitress was attentive and prompt. I did a sunshinrle rol, tuna roll and a green roll. It was pretty all right. My husband did a pick 2 (chicken and steak). We enjoyed our meal and our waitress kept our drinks topped off.General population, I would recommend this place. If you have seafood allergy (like my husband) i would not recommend it right off the bat. We informed them he has allergies, but half way through his meal he had triggered reaction typically associsted with indirect contact (so maybe a tool that sliced shrimp was used to cut veggies). They may not be as familiar with allergen cross contamination.Overall good place unless you have allergies"
"The BEST pad Thai you will ever eat. Be mindful of the spice scale. Runs a little hot. Lek is amazing."
