"Today we visited Ricardo's at 11:30. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our hostess was attentive and noticed we had a toddler with us. She thought ahead and brought us a booster and a kids menu. We were seated on the patio which was nicely covered with fans as well! Our waitress was thoughtful and while taking our drink order asked if we wanted our son's food to be put in first. Service was amazing. The food was ordered quickly and came out hot and fresh. Throughout our meal we had many check-in's from all our server. We will be coming back again soon!"
"We had an exceptional experience for our first time at SOB! Our server, Matt, was very knowledgable about the steaks and gave us great recommendations for each course. We ultimately went with the Japanese crab cakes for an appetizer, the domestic wagyu filet, the Brussel sprouts, the au gratin potatoes, and the go bananas dessert. All of it was phenomenal, though our winners were definitely the crab cakes, steak, and bananas dessert; we found both side dishes to be a bit oily. From start to finish, our dining experience did take about 2.5 hours due to a large party that night, and the wait for food felt a bit long because there wasn't music playing for most of the time we were there. The friendliness of the waiter and the quality of the food will have us returning!"
"Love this place!! Excellent food and service! The sushi is incredibly fresh. Even our toddlers love this place."
"We are from out of town so first time here. We had 20 in our party and they were able to get us in and handle the large party with ease. Melissa was our server and she was great. If we lived here we would most definitely be back. Give them a try."
"I have been going here for years for my Japanese food fix! You can go during lunch depending on the day and get more bang for your buck. The staff are always welcoming. You can sit in booths or have a table where they cook infront of you. I have celebrated birthdays here, got together with friends and never have had a bad experience here. The sushi selection is good here and fairly prices overall. Definitely go check them out!"
"Tried Rivertown for the first time while in town. Food was mediocre. The burger was OK. It tasted like a froze. Patty- I don't know that it is- just on the same par. It had a very strong pepper taste. I ordered it without the bun. Our party had the Ruben as well and it was ok- it was compared to Arby's and Arby's winning. The positives: service was GREAT! Our waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive. It was reported that the crawfish étouffée was "very good." The dill ranch was good as well! It was pretty quiet and there was only one other table. I could see it being a fun place to have a drink or two and meet up with a friend. If you're looking for a place with good atmosphere and service and don't really care about quality of food, this place is right on par!"
"This was our second visit to this restaurant. We were greeted immediately after entering. We had a reservation and was early, but still had to wait. We were a table of five. I love the antique feel of the property and its historical flair. We were greeted by several staff members while at our table. Our server, a Michael Douglas look alike was helpful and engaging. Our food was delicious overall. The bread was just okay, but I don't like rye. We chose a meatball appetizer that was pared with grits. It was flavorful. We chose a delmonico steak entree and a Duhon pork chop. Our sides were garlic mash and mac and cheese. Our food portions were substantial and we were able to finish our food for lunch the next day. Cookie and cream ice cream was a tasty treat to finish the night."
"Despite being off the beaten track, this place has great seafood and steaks and a nice salad bar, with AMAZING butter!! Trust me. Get the butter Portions are big, prices are small. They don't take reservations so don't try. Either show up at 5 or expect to wait. The service is very good/great. But they're not a corporate trained perfect force. They're humans working their tail off in a busy restaurant. Highly recommend!"
"Have been patronizing Ally 21 for at least 10 years . Over the years, the service and quality has had its uos and downs. Our last visit to the Ally was a great surprise! The quality of service and food has jumped significantly! Our steaks were perfectly grilled. The sides we ordered were served hot and fresh. We also enjoyed an Old Fashioned bourbon from the bar. Excellently crafted, with one solid round clear ice cube. Perfectly mixed with a generous amount of bourbon. The Ally has stepped up its game significantly from mediocre service of the past. Kudos to the management and all the employees who have worked very hard to improve the Ally!! Hat off to you all and great job!"
"Great food and service! And, they have the best tator tots!I made a reservation for dinner while traveling in the area and made my way to the restaurant. Plenty of parking in the shopping center, and the inside is warm and inviting.Beau was my server and was awesome. One of the best servers I have encountered in a while. I was dining alone and he exceeded all expectations. Often when I dine alone, I kind of feel like I am placed as a lower priority with service, or they forget about me. Beau provided the best service and guided through menu and suggestions and recommendations. For food, I went with the Durango Burger, Medium well, and low heat ($16.50). The beef is high quality and the burger is chile spiced, with pepper jack cheese, fried onions, and a roasted garlic ranch dressing. I went with tator tots as the side and they were perfect. Crunchy, delicious, not to greasy, and not overcooked. Took a piece of carrot cake to go (for later) and it was delicious and was nice to have dessert in the hotel.Great location! Top quality across the board and will definitley eat at Firebirds again!"

This was a pleasant surprise! The guy working the counter was talking drive thru and phone orders while packing up food to go all the while having a great attitude! His customer service was on point! This is not a fine dining establishment, this is a get your belly full of some great food. My only complaint was the drink choices. I ordered two meals because I wanted to try the different sides and I'm glad I did. The greens and potato salad were my favorite. The yams and Mac n cheese were good not great. The wings were cooked perfectly!!! I wish I could have tried all of the sauces to see which one I liked the best! The beef ribs were fall off the bone tender! If I lived here I would be a regular!

I was looking forward to checking out River Oaks in downtown Madison. I've eaten at their sister restaurant in North Vernon and it was excellent, so I had pretty high expectations of River Oaks. Upon entering the restaurant, there were multiple empty tables. We were greeted by the hostess who began to take us to a back room. When we inquired about sitting towards the front of the restaurant, we were told that was not an option. Those were for people with reservations. We had reservations, scheduled our reservation over 3 weeks ago. So....not sure. The back room felt like an afterthought, overflow at best. It was stuffy and the tables were too close together. Our table on the day of the KY Derby. A large TV was hung on the wall but staff indicated the TV was broke and not operating. The restaurant just opened..... The food, we ordered 2 sharables and all carte steaks. One person ordered 12 oz filet cooked medium-well and his steak was more medium, all pink. Another person ordered the ribeye to be cooked to medium rare, which was good. Crispy on the outside, pink on the inside. I ordered a 12 oz filet cooked medium, my steak was raw on the inside. Not warm, cold and raw. I ate the outsides of it the filet as those were cooked more. No no one came back to ask us how our food was until the end of the meal. At that point, I asked for a box. We ordered creamed corn which was great and cacio brussels which was nothing special. Some brussel sprouts were too hard, some were too mushy. There was a little bit of charred brussel leaves at the bottom of the bowl; those were really good. Needed more seasonings. If River Oaks is trying to be a serious steakhouse, they need improve the experience. River Oaks prices the food like its a steakhouse; we spent $80/person (or $240 total). Other steakhouses with similar price points offer bread, salad, and have a much better ambiance.

To be honest, I wanted to like this restaurant more than I actually did. I went in thinking I'd get great food, and I was underwhelmed. On the plus side, I really like the atmosphere. They went with the train depot theme and I think that was a hit. Additionally, the service here was great. Our server was super attentive and she earned an excellent tip.But why do you go to a restaurant? You're looking for incredible food. The kind you can't make at home. I think on this one Ricardo's was a miss. Let me break it down...Catfish platter (fried) ~ really good, not great. Of all the meals, this one would be the one I'd recommend. The cole slaw that came with it -- unfortunately tasteless.Catfish platter (blackened) ~ limited seasoning led to lack of flavor. I can do better at home. You don't want to say that.Broccoli casserole ~ served to us room temperature. You've got to do better than that. Sirloin ~ good, but again, nothing spectacular. Could do better at the house.New Orleans pasta ~ not that great the day we got it. Took leftovers home and it was much better the next day after it had time to pull in all the spices. Granny Smith Apple salad ~ way overpriced for what you get here. Shockingly so for what you get.In the end, I'd like to say I'd be back. But the restaurant business is extremely competitive. You have to hook the customer the first time. They didn't do that. And I can name you ten restaurants right now within 20 miles that have incredible cuisine. I'm just doubtful I'll chance this one again.

Food was impeccable!! Service was spot on our waitress was nothing short of sweet. Always had a smile on her face while giving the best recommendations. Ambiance was beautiful. My parents first time at S.O.B they can't wait to tell their friends to try. Thank you for a wonderful night spent with my family!!!

Quite possibly the best sushi I've ever had! We love this place. It's nice for a date night with your spouse but not too nice to not take the kids. Service has always been quick and courteous.

We really enjoyed our dinner at J.Miller. I had the pork chop, which was on special the night we went, with baked potato and Mac and cheese. Here is where a star was lost. The pork chop had way to much pepper for me and the Mac and cheese could have been a little warmer, but the pork chop was perfectly cooked and very juicy. My wife had the big salad with salmon. Our server did a great job noting my wife's food sensitivities and went the extra mile taking a picture of the ingredients in the salad dressing. The salad came out perfect. And the piece of salmon was HUGE.The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, if you like old exposed brick, which I do. And I have to mention the chairs in the dining room. Simple the most comfortable I have ever sat in, in a restaurant. Well padded with an upright back. We have to get back to see the upstairs space. It sounds amazing. Give this place a try.

Probably one of the best Hibachi restaurants in the tri state. Most are all the same, with the same menu, but Kabuto stands out above the rest in service, portions, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I paired my steak and shrimp combo with an iced cold Kirian Light and I was a happy man.The show / performance was great for first timers, but I rather just skip all that and cook it up and serve.

Four of us for lunch. Started by splitting a half order of chicken livers. The menu stated a half order was a half pound of livers. The livers were very good. However, the order seemed awfully small to be a half pound.. We also tried their cup of gumbo ($9.99). The gumbo was pretty good, but I prefer gumbo made with a brown roux, this gumbo was tomato based.Three of us had the Half Corned Beef Reuben lunch special served with fries ($9.99). The sandwich was average, not bad but nothing outstanding either. The fries were ordered crispy and they arrived as ordered. Fries were very good. One person had the breaded tenderloin sandwich. It looked good and he said he did like it. They have bottle beer, no draft. IMO the highlights were the livers and fries.Service was very good, fast and friendly.

"Coba is a new spot and still pretty "green" in terms of service. My parents and I were not in a rush, so overall we had a pleasant time, but service was slow, and it seemed like they were either understaffed or still trying to figure things out. I will be happy to return in a month or two to see where things have changed because this place does have a lot of potential. The interior is super cute and the drinks were amazing. I tried the rose margarita, my mom had the Italian margarita and the drinks alone or worth it to come back. Chips and salsa, pretty basic, but can't go wrong. Other food was pleasant, not life-changing, but a solid tex-mex place to come back to. I hope that they iron out a few more details, get the space to move a little bit more smoothly, and I will be happy to bring more people in!"
"Best sushi I have ever had. Fresh fresh fresh!! We got sushi boat and it did not disappoint. Service was awesome with a smile and a nice perk of banana sushi at end. Cozy place. Would not have guessed from outside would be this gooooood!"
"Last night two of my friends and I went to Palmer's to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. It wasn't stifling hot outside so we opted to sit outside so that we could enjoy the view of the lane. I definitely recommend sitting outside if it's possible. I had the peach sangria to drink and it was light and refreshing--perfect for a summer evening. We split the calamari for an appetizer and it was good--not huge portions but the peanut sauce was a tasty change from the typical marinara sauce that you get at most places. I had the Caribbean chicken salad as my entree and it was okay. It wasn't served with very much dressing but I was able to get more from our server. I had a taste of my friend's shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend that next time!"
"Steve (proprietor) and company are always on point. I appreciate their attention to detail and ability to handle a table of 2 and a table of 12 with the same excellence. I recently attended last week for a retirement party with 11 people. It was on point; drinks were full, and food was fast and great. Looking over my shoulder, at 5:30 on a Wednesday, there were 20 people waiting for a table. Glad we had our reservations -- highly recommend or be ready to sit for up to an hour. On to the food. Caroline Steak is a staple for dinner for me. Tangled O'Rings and garlic butter atop a beautiful Angus beef sirloin. You can't beat it with the fresh green beans and a potato choice. Are you a burger connoisseur? Try the Caroline or Russ Burgers. For $1 more the Russ is hard to beat. And when you order your burger medium, no one panics, because the kitchen staff knows how to not kill meat. I find other places are timid to do anything less than medium well, perhaps because their beef is lower quality. Appetizers? Southwestern Eggrolls are fantastic. Also, crabcakes- shareable and I'm talking real true crabcakes like you would get in New England, not filler garbage. These are true to their name 100%! You'll soon be ordering a second order. Sorry no photos but The Caroline deserves a top spot on your list!"
"Everything was cooked perfectly. The facility was clean, waitress was great, and they let us park the bobtail behind the establishment. Cant go wrong eating here. Also had a bar with alot of cocktails."
"One of my favorite old school bar / restaurants in Dayton. Been coming here for 20+ years whenever we are in town - best BBQ chicken and sides and ice cold martins at the bar. Love love love!"
"The staff definitely remembers their regulars which is rare these days. Everything we ordered was perfect. The wedge salad is amazing, steak cooked to perfection and dessert always hits the spot!"
"I hate to post this after I've heard so many good things about the brunch. But here is my experience.... First if you have food allergies, just say no. Nuts are located in like two spots and I got sick because of cross contamination. They have a lot of breakfast choices but none of the eggs seem to be whole eggs, just egg mix and lots of carb items. We were seated in a section with no server, so that was disappointing since we had a hard time getting anyone to bring us drinks. Everyone was friendly but the lack of organization was disappointing. Over $40 a person for the brunch, which is what I paid for an all you can eat seafood buffet in Myrtle beach."
"Overall, the experience was great! The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly! The building is from the 1800's and they still have it set up to kind of feel that way which I appreciate! They are currently fixing up the 3rd floor to open up rooms again as it was a hotel at some point. We had the ribeye, mac and cheese, green beans, wings, lava cake, salmon, and a couple sandwiches and everyone said their food was really good! We'll definitely be back."
"This place checks all the boxes! Started with the baked Brie and bruschetta for the table and both were delicious.Had the filet and scallops on a bed of Gouda cheese grits, asparagus and crab butter it's amazing. Carson's is an excellent choice for dining in Lexington."
"Decent sushi. The meal off the hibachi grill was pretty average as Japanese Steak House fare goes. Not disappointed not wowed. The presentation/personality of the cook was way low key. I kinda expect that cook to be totally entertaining and high energy. Again the food was fine. We felt a little crowded at the table too. Would have waited for the next table to be sat and be less crowded."
"Since moving here from California we've been looking for good or even great sushi. We came here to check out their sushi bar. I noticed right away that it was quite warm inside, even a little uncomfortable. If you're headed here, I'd suggest you dress accordingly. As for the sushi, it was good! Jason, the sushi chef, is very personable and makes the best sushi we've had since we've been in Cincinnati. The beer was cold & the margarita was prepared quickly, which stands out to me, as many times there's a considerable wait when I order mixed drinks at restaurants. Our server kept up on our drinks, sides, and had a sweet demeanor. I'd recommend Sakura for sure!"
"100% my favorite steak place!!! This is genuinely my go to spot for a well seasoned ribeye or NY steak! They use wood burning grills outside and engulfed in smoky perfection! The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, I've never had to wait long on getting an amazing and affordable meal, and I never have regrets coming here. I typically order the small steak and usually end up taking half home. Key tip, ask for the steak au jus sauce to go if you plan to reheat later. Put the steak and au jus in a pan on your stove top on low heat to warm up, and it's like having it at the restaurant all over! I recommend the ribber fries which are like lighter fluffier Saratoga chips. I ask for mine crispier though. Also, the beer battered onion rings are on point! Top it all off with a local beer brewed literally next door, and you're set! Enjoy one of the best restaurants Portsmouth has to offer folks, you will not regret it!"
"I love this place. Top tier service and food. I've been loyal since they've opened"
"I've come here many times mostly sitting on the habachi grill side. However this time we sat on the normal seating side. Honestly this was way more convenient because you can order the same food that's on the habachi side without the clanking. We were sat quickly and served in a timely manner. We started with the crab Rangoon and you get 6 and they were fabulous! Most of the table got the typical hibachi meal and it was also great as always but my mom got the chicken/shrimp teriyaki and she thought it was great but said if she did it again she'd just do the shrimp. Like usual we had leftovers so a nice portion!"
"My daughter picked this place to celebrate her birthday and none of us had ever been and we weren't disappointed! First off the ambiance is perfect. They had a piano playing in the background, it wasn't too loud or too quiet I felt it was perfect. The food was top quality!! We received fresh Rosemary bread after we ordered and it was so good. Never had it before but it was amazing!! Me and my son-in-law got the the 14 oz New York Strip, my daughter got the 6 oz Filet and my husband got the Wagyu special they had. It was only 6 oz, hence why I got a bigger steak because I knew he would want more steak and could have mine. We had never had Wagyu but it was as good as the hype for sure! Everyone's steak was cooked perfectly the way they requested. You get 2 sides with your dinner and you could upgrade to a premium side. A salad couldn't be a side unless a big upcharge which I was disappointed in. We did get the Gouda Mac and Cheese for a side for the table and it was great! All the sides were good I just felt the Asparagus could have been a little better. My husbands special was a 3 course so he got a dessert which was a cinnamon roll with bananas foster gelato for dessert and it was great! They also gave my daughter a flight of 3 different ice creams for her birthday. We were so full from dinner we couldn't eat all the dessert but it was good! The server was good and attentive. We were there over 2 hours for a dinner which surprised us when we were leaving there was quite a bit of time between bread, salad, entree and dessert so I guess things took time but we were enjoying each others company so it didn't bother us. Would definitely go back for a special occasion but a bit pricy to go for a weekly date night in my opinion."
"Cool atmosphere, nice and open. Service can be slow but it's still new and it's small town. Everyone so friendly. Patio just opened up"
"Great spot for some upscale food for a reasonable price. My husband and I stopped in as we had heard food was good here. I had the salad, salmon and French fries, all of which was amazing. The salad was ice cold and fresh and salmon was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My husband loved his filet and it was cooked perfectly. We had a bottle of wine too, which on Wednesday was half off. All of this food for only $60 before tip. We were also able to enjoy the live music during our meal. Staff was fast and friendly and gave good recommendations on the menu. Depending on what you prefer for ambience, this may not be your cup of tea. But if you're looking for a great meal, laid back atmosphere and smaller prices than the usualBroad ripple restaurant, this is your place."
"One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Definately one of the best pork chops I've ever had. Great food, great service, amazing bar upstairs."
"I thought Shallos was just fine. The space is cool, with lots of decor, nice lighting, and a unique second floor overlooking the first. There's lots of seating available and we didn't have a long wait to get a table. I ordered fish and chips and unfortunately wasn't super impressed. Maybe because I had recently had an amazing fish and chips elsewhere, but the breading seemed a bit too crispy and wasn't a fan of the tartar sauce at all. I asked for sweet potato fries and they were actually amazing--perfectly hot, crisp, and fresh! They were a $4 upcharge though, which is fine until I consider that meant the standard $14 I paid for the dish, was actually just for a couple pieces of fish (my bill was $18). I wouldn't be opposed to trying something else if it's suggested to me again, but I wouldn't go out of my way or choose it for myself."
"Went to Carson's from some heavy recommendations from locals. A group of 5 of us sat at the bar for dinner. The overall menu is impressive and has steak options in the mid $30 range to $70. I went with the Filet Medallions and Scallops. The steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare and the crab and lobster topping was so flavorful. The rest of the group had similar cuts of steaks from the Barrel Cut Filet Mignon to the Black Angus Ribeye. Not one complaint was heard from our group and it will definitely be high on the list if we ever return to Lexington."
"Are at Rafters before a concert across the street. It's ER Ed the fried chicken with fried biscuits, green beans and mashed potatoes potato's with gravy. The food was very good as was the service."
"I celebrated my birthday at Mrbl and the night was PERFECT!The ambiance is beautiful. The space is dimly lit with mcm style decor and quite romantic. Our server was friendly and helpful and assisted us in selecting the perfect cocktails and appetizer. We opted for the crabcake appetizer, which was delicious. We selected the salmon wellington and porkchop as our main courses.I thank both my date and our server for treating me like a princess that night. What a treat."
