"Consistently great food and service at an excellent price. Chips and salsa are always delivered in a timely manner, as are beverages. Food is prepared quickly and hot. All the employees are friendly and personable. This is my favorite Mexican lunch spot."
"I order from Wich Doctor about once a month for a quick work day lunch! I always order the Crossroads salad with the chipotle ranch dressing. This salad is huge and the chicken is perfectly cooked every time! Well worth the cost. The dressing tastes super fresh and adds a little kick without overwhelming the salad. You can easily order online through their website and pickup at their storefront in Florence. They do not have any tables, so whether you order in-store or online it is for to-go service."
"The food was very good and service was quick and efficient. Parking is a little bit difficult at peak times."
"I have ate here twice so far: once carry out and once dine in. The food has been great both times. They are quick to serve you and everything is fresh! Their Mexican rice is the best I've ever had at any Mexican restaurant- it is very flavorful. I have tried the chimichangas and enchiladas, both which were good. Their salsa is pretty tasty too! I will return to this business. My only recommendation is they invest in some sound absorption panels for the restaurant. I am glad they are a "full house" often, but it is way too loud to enjoy a nice conversation with someone. We both had to shout to be heard."
"Everything was cooked perfectly. The facility was clean, waitress was great, and they let us park the bobtail behind the establishment. Cant go wrong eating here. Also had a bar with alot of cocktails."
"Wow I'm so happy I found Fortune Noodle House in Clifton I was looking for a Chinese restaurant for a work lunch called and spoke to Rachel the owner, so friendly and happy to help our group.I stopped by yesterday afternoon to check out the restaurant, which is very clean & welcoming inside. Rachel greeted me and was happy to explain how she loves making healthy, fresh food every day in the Clifton neighborhood.I enjoyed the hand made noodles with veggies & chicken, everything made fresh to order. They have spice level 1-3, so I went in the middle with level 2, my food came out of the kitchen a few minutes later. Delicious & what a generous portion, I ended up talking more than half home. I also enjoyed a delicious Passionfruit iced tea, which went well with the meal.Today I enjoyed my leftovers and even better. I also found out the noodles are made fresh daily such a cool place right across from UC & Hughes High School some of the best food I've enjoyed in Cincinnati!"
"(Note--this is a review for the Trailblazer Dining Room restaurant within the Hueston Woods Lodge/Conference Center. If you're looking for information about the Lodge itself, check my other review!)With so few food options at the Hueston Woods Lodge and with Jules and I running so many events at this year's AcadeCon, we found ourselves in the Trailblazer Dining Room several times over the course of the weekend. The TDR has an impressive view of the adjoining lake, through a massive triangular wall of glass, overlooking the state park. That makes for some phenomenal ambiance, to be sure!On all occasions where we visited the TDR, our service was cordial and prompt. We did have a few delays on one visit, but that was primarily due to most of the AcadeCon attendees showing up nearly-simultaneously, trying to get lunch. Even then, drinks were refilled promptly and items delivered in a timely manner.Overall, the food at TDR was of a simple sort, but executed properly: burgers, fish sandwiches, and the like. The prices on these items were quite acceptable, as well, especially considering that the TDR effectively had the market cornered for dinner options, if you were unwilling or unable to drive into Oxford proper. My chicken sandwich on the first night fresh and tender, while my fish later in the weekend was quite flaky, with a crisp exterior.Of the options we surveyed, probably the best of the lot was actually the Sunday breakfast buffet. In addition the 'basic' options--scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.--the breakfast buffet featured fresh Belgian waffles and pancakes made to order, with a number of toppings. This was well worth the money to me. However, the pizza buffet that the TDR offered on Saturday was mediocre to say the least. $14 for all-you-can-eat pizza and salad just wasn't worth it for us, especially when entrees typically ranged around the $10 mark. Oh, one more thing! Be sure you keep an eye on the TDR's hours. Breakfast starts at 8, which was just a bit late for us on Saturday, as we had events beginning at 8. Same thing for lunch, which starts at noon, rather than a slightly-more-friendly 11:30. If you're at the Hueston Woods Lodge, you could certainly do worse than the Trailblazer Dining Room. It's a competent, reasonably-priced option you can enjoy between hikes or before a relaxing night at the Lodge."
"Good spot to stop at for some cheap food if you're really hungry. Tasted great but the variety isn't too wide. Dessert was even less of a choice. Management could be a tad less micro-managy but other than that was good. Really weird to do a buffet during Covid though, so if you haven't done that yet, be prepared to be served and try to communicate your requests to the staff. Communication with them was a bit tough, possibly due to language restrictions. All in all a great value spot."
"OMG! The BFG + creamy tomato soup + donut cheese with bacon. Super friendly staff. Can't wait to come back Newport!"
"Found this spot on Yelp while visiting Cincinnati. Needed a hearty sandwich for lunch on a bitterly cold day. The man who helped us was inviting, informative, & kind. I ordered the special Cubano & walnut & pear danish. My daughter ordered the grilled cheese & black & white cookie. We ended up splitting sandwiches. Both were delicious! Got an order of chicharons to go. I look forward to my next trip so I can visit The Pickled Pig again!"
"DELICIOUS sandwich! Happened on this place by chance and did a build your own double decker and it was absolutely wonderful. Cant wait to go again!"
"Was given a recommendation to check out Ferguson House Bistro when in Nashville with my pup and it didn't disappoint! Not only was the food fantastic, they had a menu for my Enzo! He definitely enjoyed the sweet potato bites while I enjoyed the brisket tacos. The service was fantastic and had plenty of seating outdoors both on the porch and patio. When in Nashville with a four legged friend or not, it's a must visit!"

We discovered Jalapeños thirty years ago and at that time it was hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Lexington. Absolutely authentic, amazing food and consistent quality. We moved to the northern part of the state 25 years ago, but were able to enjoy a location there for several years until it closed. We missed it and could never find a suitable replacement. Now, decades later, we're still visiting the remaining location and enjoying the same great food, friendly atmosphere and service, and the same amazing authentic recipes as at the beginning. Jalapeños is a Lexington institution. All the others are just wannabes.

Fantastic sandwiches, a must try for people who love sandwiches. Hecate with Mac n cheese and the meatball with pasta salad. Both were fantastic! We highly recommend trying it. You'll love it

I am a connoisseur of deli's. Sandwiches' are just my thing. You can't beat a good ham and cheese on rye. The fact that unless you're in NY it's almost impossible to find a good deli in this world of Jimmy John's and Subways just kills me. Stevens Deli is the rare exception in this world of wanna be sandwich shops. They are the classic deli, with fresh meats, sides and typical deli attitude. And the prices are absolutely amazing! I would give my left arm to have this place in a town in which I live, but unfortunately it's several states over from me. My loss is your gain. Hit this place up, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Went to La Base Mexican Restaurant today, on Broad in Fairborn in the old pizza hut. They opened in November. We were there at opening and they got busy, about half full at lunch. Mostly uniformed base customers, predictably. Service was great, no problems there. They were recently remodelled and it's very nice inside. We wanted to like it. We saw a lot of potential on the menu before we went. The table side quac comes in the big stone molchete, it's made fresh to order and it was great, truly, too much tomato, but great anyway. Past that we were disappointed. Everything was very unseasoned and blah. We ordered things we normally order to compare, and in every case left wanting. I asked the diff between red and green chilequiles, red was hotter, I ordered green because I love Verde sauce. Got the red, I said hold on if it is crazy spicy I'll need it re-done but took one bite of a chip and NO HEAT none. So I kept it, but it wasn't very flavorful either. It was incredibly wet as well, they didn't strain the chicken I think, as a result the chips inside turned to sloppy muck. (You can see the puddle of water in the plate.)The beans or rice were absent of the flavor were used to. You can tell they didn't use drippings or broth in them and only water. Just bleh. Not even salt. The Tamale and Chile Relleno likewise were very unseasoned. The tamale had a thinner canned enchilada-style red sauce (versus the thick intense drool worthy gravy-like molè we are used to), but even the masa on it's own was very... Plain. No seasoning at all. The Chile Relleno was massive, the chile itself was only like the middle third, the rest was the heavy breading and again, just not much to offer on flavor.Very dissapointed, we might go back some Sunday to try the street tacos, but I'm thinking we'll just ride out our Sunday Mexican cravings till our regular place is open. (Or take my parents there who are afraid of spices. The old lady next to us asked for white rice but was really happy with the Mexican rice, yeah... )It's better than El Toro and El Rancho Grande, but that's not much of a brag.(We normally go to the most excellent Las Margaritas Mexican Bar and Grill on Airway, but they aren't open on Sundays and we went wtf let's try the new place down the road. Needless to say but we will still be going to Las Margaritas. Elsewhere was never a real option because they are incredible, and the food is fantastic, too. Everytime we try a new place we get reminded how great they are)

So glad I decided to try this place. My parents and I go to lunch somewhere every Sunday. Over the last year, portions have been smaller while the bill has been bigger. Not at this place. We had fried pickles. Fresh with homemade ranch. My mom had the special, a steak quesadilla. Dad had the catfish filets, I had the breaded tenderloin and onion rings. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. My dad had NO complaints which is HUGE if you knew my dad. Will definitely be back. Great staff also!

I would say it's a little hard to find parking. Plus it look a little rundown on the outside to be honest. However I gave 5 stars because the food was actually really good. It's my first time order since I have to be at Good Sam's for the day and I was just expecting it to be mediocre since it around college kid area. I order N3 Beef Stew Noodles and V1 garlic Bok Choy. They both were very tasty. Plus the host was very sweet, she remembered to put in some extra chili cause since I want them more spicy. Def recommended!!!

My family and I were staying at the lodge for a few days during the off-season so we came for dinner here out of convenience. Come. On. An. Empty. Stomach. The portions are gigantic and the food is delicious. I really liked my chicken pot pie but I tried my dad's tortellini and it was out of this world! My mother also really enjoyed her maple-smoked salmon. We had gotten the Grecian flatbread as an appetizer and it was incredibly flavorful with so many combinations of flavor from the kalamata olives to the cheese to the balsamic vinegar to the pesto. I couldn't get enough! For dessert I got the banana foster and it was incredible!!! It's such a shame to have such huge portions as guests in a hotel and not have an oven to re-warm the food. (A microwave just doesn't give the same results). It would definitely be a huge bonus for people living in the area or maybe staying at an Air BNB who have access to an oven. You may be asking why I subtracted a star if we had such a lovely dinner. The breakfast. It was subpar at best. The French toast was pitiful to view and floppy and mediocre in flavor and texture. The maple syrup had already developed a skin over it by the time the lovely waitress brought the food from the kitchen to the table...But speaking of service, the servers were wonderful! Very nice, no complaints on our end for the waitresses but making a reservation was confusing. We were told by the hotel staff to book a reservation yet we kept calling and didn't get a reply. So we called the front desk back and apparently the restaurant people show up to start prepping for dinner around 5:30PM??? We just winged it and showed up at 6PM and it was just fine, not crowded at all. This was mid February so keep that in mind. But overall a lovely time and my baby boomer parents LOVED the 70's music playing!

Trust the stars. Believe the people. I saw the 2 star rating and read some of the reviews. I thought i had been there a couple times before granted it wasn't great but eatable! Well it's gotten worse. The food seems to be just above dog food and to top it off it was cold. I told the waitress it was cold and she mumbled something and asked if i wanted it microwaved (LOL, Are you serious!). I seen the waitress go up and tell the owner/manager right after i said something. They all just looked up at us and basically shrugged their shoulders. Trust the stars/reviews! I believe I've had better sushi from a food truck when in Mexico

"This place exceeded our expectations! I love a soft bagel and the consistency was exactly that. I love that you could customize your sandwich the way you like it. Staff was so nice too. We'll definitely be coming back!"
"Great little spot downtown for a quick, inexpensive lunch. I wasn't feeling too well so I was craving some chicken noodle soup. The Silver Ladle's page was first to pop up when I turned to Yelp for a suggestion. The chicken noodle soup was traditional, hearty and exactly what I needed.A friend of mine ordered the pick 2 lunch with a greek salad and the muffaletta. She was very pleased with this selection. The ingredients looked very fresh, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. I can't wait to go back when I am feeling better so I can go back to try more! They offer a dine in option or you can carry out or get delivery (I'm unsure of the territory, though). You can also order boxed lunches, a buffet style lunch or chili bar to fill your catering needs.Overall a win for lunch!"
"Milford as the locals know has many Mexican restaurants to choose from. That means competition is high! El Taco Veloz won't have to worry though, they will be here to stay!!!"
"Excellent and quick service with generous tasty portions. It's got everything except location which is relative in Oxford but being one block too far west probably kills a lot of business."
"I was shocked how much I enjoyed the entire meal. First time eater here and will return regularly."
"We stopped in for breakfast and almost didn't stay. It's attached to a gas station and caters mostly to carry out orders. The girls in there were friendly and made the regular customers coming in for carry out start their day out on a good note. We were the only sit down customers, but they had steady flow in and out while we were there. We both had the platters which included two made to order eggs, diced potatoes and a choice of meat with choice of b&g, French toast or pancakes! Everything was tasty and the portions were more than satisfying. The bacon was crispy, tasty and lots of it. Sausage gravy was good (and we are picky growing up on farm cooking). Great value for good food."
"I called ahead and placed a takeout order for a burrito with extra refried beans no rice and a single drumstick because I wanted to check out their fried chicken, not really expecting too much because I honestly I've never seen a combination Mexican fried Chicken joint. When I got there they were pretty busy and the smell was incredibly powerful, appetizing to say the least! the gentleman who took my order told me it would have been like 10 minutes and I definitely waited longer than that, but it wasn't a terrible wait. Got home and dove in...the burrito was okay, refried black beans which is one of my favorites and a decent amount of filling but nothing really great in the flavor department, the steak was some of the chewier fattier cuts which is always annoying for me. the fried chicken though is actually great! Had a super light fry like almost to the point that I couldn't tell if it was roasted or fried, it was barely just a bit of coating and super crispy skin. I'll definitely go back for more of that!"
"The appearance of the place is pretty standard Chinese Restaurant look. Spacious but not too.The service was very quick and the food came out hot and pretty fast.I went outside of my normal Beef Lo Mein and went the Beef Mei Fun (it has rice noodles instead of wheat). I would have preferred a brown sauce (and if I would have thought about ,I would have asked), but it was quite good. For a little hole in the wall, it was VERY good."
"Comfortable and casual with a nicely appointed environment. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Waitstaff is friendly and efficient and always a pleasure to work with. Good food, good prices."
"Great Food ! Service was great and good price for the food. Its very convenient for pickup"
"Overrated in my opinion, but that might just be me. The food is not worth the price. Still yummy, just better options available."
"I have been dining at China Star for years and it is the best Chinese food in NKY in my opinion. Veggies are always fresh and meals arrive hot and very flavorful. Annie is my favorite server and always very pleasant and kind. I'm not sure about beef but all of the chicken entrees have good quality chicken. Family owned business and it's always a win for us."
"We had Cheese N Chong for the first time at the CFTA Food Truck Festival in Summit Park. From the design of the food truck, you can gather that they're known for their gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. There's a content-looking hippie on the side giving a peace sign. It's easy to see why he's satisfied - the food is delicious! We ordered the Tropic Thunder: chipotle aioli, grilled ham, fresh grilled pineapple, and pepper jack cheese. It was served piping hot, and was very tasty! The sandwich also comes with a pickle spear. We also decided to get a pretzel with beer cheese. It was absolutely delicious. I would order it again in a heartbeat. Be sure to check this food truck out when you get the chance!"
"We usually come to eat waffles or pizza, but a smoothie sounded good. I got the berry best and my husband got the marvelous mango. Mine was surprisingly too sweet. My husband said his tasted powder based. The straws were thin (so thin that the lid crushes it flat) so a little hard to drink). This review was only for the smoothie, I will have to return to try the food. If you want a smoothie, i would not recommend it from here."
"Good food easy in and out with a cane! Been going for years a part of Middletown fiber."
"Visited on Saturday afternoon. They've just remodeled and the space is clean and new. I went in with my toddler unsure due to mixed reviews. I've been a bunch, just years ago when it was a new concept. Today we ordered a kids meal with Mac and a milk and I ordered a BFG (bacon fig and goat cheese). So delicious! The fig jam was sweeter than I expected but it was very good. My little loved his traditional grilled cheese. I do think this will be a special stop for us as the pricing is higher than regular fast casual for the items served. The kids meal is $6.99, the BFG is $8.99, and we tried one of the dessert options - cinnamon crunch donut with marshmallow mascarpone at $5.49. The cup of soup is $3.99, which has the least value, imho. Little one loved it so we'll be back and all the items were fresh and hot, service was very kind. A little bonus is this restaurant does employ individuals with high learning challenges and that is awesome! We made a friend while here and who can be grumpy after that!"
"Large portions for the amount you pay. Turned my meal into two. I got the chicken low mein and egg drop soup and they were better than expected.Definitely recommend if looking for a chill, casual place to eat."
"China House is small, well-run family-owned restaurant serving the typical, 150+ item Chinese-American menu. What I appreciate about this place is their consistency. Over several visits, we've tried the Mei Fun, Chicken with Chinese Vegatables, Lo Mein, Boneless Chicken special and others. All have been well-balanced, fresh tasting and well-portioned...every time. I often come back to the Chicken Lo Mein and ask them to make it extra spicy. They are spot-on with the right amount of heat. This location is about 10 minutes away. I call, order, jump in the car and its usually ready when I arrive. I'm a fan."
"I kept hearing great things about Lisse. Finally went for our anniversary dinner and it lived up to, even exceeded expectations. We had impeccable service from the general manager Emily. Inside is beautiful and spacious but broken up into rooms so it feels more intimate. We opted to sit on the rooftop to enjoy the views. Every dish we had was top notch, from the apps to the mains to the desserts. Would definitely return and recommend."
"Love their food! Perfect taste and portions. I had the garlic and onion and my mum had the Thai spicy with tofu. Their chili oil was amazing not only spicy but also tasty. The tofu was delicious and very well seasoned. The white rice was well cooked and soft.Deft worth the try!"
"Hand packed cheeseburger with all the toppings. Crispy onion rings. Cold beer. Perfect lunch for the perfect day! And cheap! The owner was working the bar and had us laughing the whole time. Definitely a place to go back to!"
"Where to start... Parc Cafe, this era of it - perfection The ladies who made this happen, they're warm-hearted, friendly, and have a real passion that can be felt the minute you walk through the doors. With attention to detail, flavors, and combinations, everything comes together beautifully. If you're looking for a stunning and aesthetically pleasing experience, come here. If you're searching for food that will leave you anxiously awaiting your next visit, come here."
"Well....visiting my brother while waiting to get safely (Covid 19 testing precaution) to my next destination. Got a hankering for a Pu Pu platter and decided this must be the place. I ordered two Pu Pu platters and House Lo Mein and House Fried Rice.My order taker was personable, efficient and very knowledgeable with excellent customer service skills.Wait for the food was less than 15 minutes so that was a plus. Foot traffic for pick up was average for afternoon, so that was a good sign and the smell of my fresh cooked food was tantalizing.Made it back to brothers house and the food exceeded my expectations. Very fresh and well made. I added no soy sauce, duck sauce or spicy mustard to my food. It was not needed. It was so tasty, I exceeded my greed. On top of that I am now most favored sister.. Thanks Fantastic Wok."
