"What a gem of a find!! My BFF and I were shopping in Hamilton and stumbled across this new restaurant! The service was great! The staff is friendly and the food is absolutely amazing!!! The serving size is huge: we split a lunch and walked away stuffed! With the purchase of an entree, you also receive a free order of naan! It had a very strong pepper taste. I ordered it without the bun. Our party had the Ruben as well and it was ok- it was compared to Arby's and Arby's winning. The positives: service was GREAT! Our waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive. It was reported that the crawfish étouffée was "very good." The dill ranch was good as well! It was pretty quiet and there was only one other table. I could see it being a fun place to have a drink or two and meet up with a friend. When I saw the long lines at the counter, I knew I had come across a local favorite!Located on Race Street, this is a take-out only restaurant. Only on street parking is available, but it appeared limited. However, there is a cable car station close by. Uber/Lyft is usually available in under 5 minutes.For the menu, there are only three options available. Each fried fish entree is served with fries, bread, and various condiments, and the serving size is very generous. I ordered the 5 piece Whiting piece, and it was very delicious. Each piece of fish is lightly breaded and fried to perfection. It was crispy outside, and the fish was very tender inside. The fries felt generic, and I would recommend skipping it if you like to save room for the fried fish. As for the service, it was fast, and I received my order in under 3 minutes. My total came to $13, which was a steal given the generous portion of fish. Overall, it is a must try if you are a seafood lover!"
"This was our second visit to this restaurant. We were greeted immediately after entering. We had a reservation and was early, but still had to wait. We were a table of five. I love the antique feel of the property and its historical flair. We were greeted by several staff members while at our table. Our server, a Michael Douglas look alike was helpful and engaging. Our food was delicious overall. The bread was just okay, but I don't like rye. We chose a meatball appetizer that was pared with grits. It was flavorful. We chose a delmonico steak entree and a Duhon pork chop. Our sides were garlic mash and mac and cheese. Our food portions were substantial and we were able to finish our food for lunch the next day. Cookie and cream ice cream was a tasty treat to finish the night."

"My in-laws live in Urbana and we asked them if they'd like to have an early dinner. There is such a lack of restaurants in this small town. Literally there's this place, another Mexican restaurant down the road and 'The Farmers daughter" are pretty much all this small town has, except there are several fast food places being most of the choices. I think there might be a "sit down restaurant" downtown but parking is difficult there.So... I didn't take pictures but our food was wonderful! The service was great, and our server was pleasant, on task for any needs at the table and food was priced reasonably. 5 adults with full meals was approximately $75. We had huge portions that only my husband and his dad were able to finish. Compared to Mexican restaurants in nearby towns they are mediocre compared to what we had today. Definitely will be back!"
"We ate here twice, a supper and a breakfast. The breakfast was very good and the supper was pretty good. It's nice sitting by the river and watching it Go by. In the morning there was a little fog over the Ohio which made for a nice atmosphere. The atmosphere is typical casual for a Riverside type of restaurant. The wait staff was very nice and efficient.For supper most of us had the fish special which was either catfish or whitefish. The catfish was very good but the white fish was a little undercooked and somewhat mushy. The Johnny cakes cornbread were cold and not great flavor. So the supper was good but not great.For breakfast most of us had eggs bacon toast pancakes and coffee. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the bacon was crispy, and the pancakes were superb. I eat mine without any butter or syrup and they had an excellent flavor despite the lack of those extras. We tried an order of goetta as most in our group had never tasted it before. I don't really like it but I liked their version. For those who don't know goetta is a combination of beef pork spices and oatmeal that is cooked like a flat sausage patty and is very popular in the Cincinnati area.We were two full to try the desserts but they look pretty good. The price for what you get was very good as well. We would definitely go here again if we are back in the area."
"Great fish dinners to be had here!I ordered the highly acclaimed fish log and the fried potatoes. Both were fantastic and didn't disappoint. They will actually make the fish well done which most fish places won't but I like mine Great Britain style, crunchy and with lots of flavor, this one for the bill for sure. Fried potatoes with onions were good too, showstopper though was the onion rings. Truly GB style! Crunchy, flavorful, made with fish batter and not breaded like the ones you get do often these days. The meal was BIG so maybe if you're going for lunch grab the half log or pan to take some home. Great place for truly one of a kind fish for the landlocked Ohio!"
"Quincy's is a great find in downtown Dayton. If you're in the mood for deep fried fish, or broasted chicken head over to Quincy's! They even have broasted potato wedges that they sell for 40 cents a piece.All the fish orders here come with fries, toast, and grilled onions. You get a good sized portion of fish, and tons of fries. Although the fries were super soggy. I guess both that and the toast were good for soaking up the oil from the fish.I tried both the catfish (catch of the day) and the cod. Between the two, I liked the cod more, but the person who ordered the catfish liked the catfish more. So it's a toss up.The broasted chicken here was great too. Super juicy on the inside. Since they make their food from scratch it can take a bit to get your food. We put our order in before heading over there. They said it would take ten to fifteen minutes, but it took about forty minutes but that's not their fault. They had a big rush of orders before us.The food here is good, but keep in mind if you get the fish it'll be super greasy. And sometimes that's a good thing. wink wink.I'd come back! Oh before I forget, there's outdoor seating in front of the store, and a small seating area inside the store but they have to let you in through the freezer."
"Matsuya is absolutely worth a trek to Florence. I loved my first visit so much that I came back 3 times with friends in a span of 2 months! The decor was very cute and felt very rustic. I liked how they had a large tatami room with low tables for reservations. The food was very unique and the kaiseki set gives you a large quantity of food and is definitely enough to share with another person. The sushi was masterfully prepared by their chef and I could tell they took great care in the food they serve. Would say that overall the wait time was a little longer for the courses, which we didn't mind, but if you're in a hurry, probably not the best place to come to. We felt that the quantity of time between courses allowed time to properly digest!"

I was looking forward to checking out River Oaks in downtown Madison. I've eaten at their sister restaurant in North Vernon and it was excellent, so I had pretty high expectations of River Oaks. Upon entering the restaurant, there were multiple empty tables. We were greeted by the hostess who began to take us to a back room. When we inquired about sitting towards the front of the restaurant, we were told that was not an option. Those were for people with reservations. We had reservations, scheduled our reservation over 3 weeks ago. So....not sure. The back room felt like an afterthought, overflow at best. It was stuffy and the tables were too close together. Our table on the day of the KY Derby. A large TV was hung on the wall but staff indicated the TV was broke and not operating. The restaurant just opened..... The food, we ordered 2 sharables and all carte steaks. One person ordered 12 oz filet cooked medium-well and his steak was more medium, all pink. Another person ordered the ribeye to be cooked to medium rare, which was good. Crispy on the outside, pink on the inside. I ordered a 12 oz filet cooked medium, my steak was raw on the inside. Not warm, cold and raw. I ate the outsides of it the filet as those were cooked more. No no one came back to ask us how our food was until the end of the meal. At that point, I asked for a box. We ordered creamed corn which was great and cacio brussels which was nothing special. Some brussel sprouts were too hard, some were too mushy. There was a little bit of charred brussel leaves at the bottom of the bowl; those were really good. Needed more seasonings. If River Oaks is trying to be a serious steakhouse, they need improve the experience. River Oaks prices the food like its a steakhouse; we spent $80/person (or $240 total). Other steakhouses with similar price points offer bread, salad, and have a much better ambiance.

Four of us for lunch. Started by splitting a half order of chicken livers. The menu stated a half order was a half pound of livers. The livers were very good. However, the order seemed awfully small to be a half pound.. We also tried their cup of gumbo ($9.99). The gumbo was pretty good, but I prefer gumbo made with a brown roux, this gumbo was tomato based.Three of us had the Half Corned Beef Reuben lunch special served with fries ($9.99). The sandwich was average, not bad but nothing outstanding either. The fries were ordered crispy and they arrived as ordered. Fries were very good. One person had the breaded tenderloin sandwich. It looked good and he said he did like it. They have bottle beer, no draft. IMO the highlights were the livers and fries.Service was very good, fast and friendly.

A nostalgic trip for me always as i've been eating here since i was a kid! The fish with the bread and peppers is a staple for me. The fish is so crispy and flaky when biting into, a pro tip i do is make a little sandwich out of the fish, bread and peppers (top it with tarter and hot sauce). The inside is a quick order and go, love taking it and going to the park to eat in a picnic fashion. highly recommended seriously.

We came here for our 10th Valentine's Day together this year. The service we had at the bar was phenomenal. I definitely recommend they were great. The drinks was great. The meals were out of this world. The dessert was incredible. Obviously an upscale steakhouse with a wonderful ambience. We even picked up a signature cigar for my husband. The quality of the cigar was out of this world. The ice cream cigar mousse dessert we had was also one of the best presentations I've ever seen in my life. Jeff Rubys completely out of their selves with this one. To top it off, we had reservations at 10 PM and normally when you have reservations late at a restaurant, you're not expecting to have quite quality service by that point in the evening, but man they were just on point. Amazing staff highly recommend taking your loved ones here.

1st time and if I lived in the area we would be going back regularly. But the family does. The location is clean and bright and service could not have been better. But that's not why you're here, is it? My granddaughter has the street tacos and they looked great. And she said they were. She's been here before. I had the shrimp diablo, excellent. Very spicy and not overwhelming. But for those who don't like heat STAY AWAY. Go. You'll like it.

"We've been here a handful of times before but I was never impressed, we decided to give it another try on Labor-day since we didn't have many other options... BUT BOY WAS I GLAD WE DID!The food is DEFINITELY MORE TASTY!! I had the shaken beef & it was absolutely delicious!! I finished everything but the bell peppers!!My husband had the bun Bo hue & absolutely loved it, my mom had the bun cha Ha Noi & she loved hers too! My husband even ordered an extra order of the bun cha Ha Noi for dinner that night. 2 of my kids had the ga nuong, the chicken was very flavorful!My 3rd kid had the pho, the only thing we weren't a fan of.They were very busy that day, only had 2 people in the front but they did a wonderful job running it (took orders, made drinks, checked people out); super friendly & attentive nonetheless!!!We will definitely be back, they are now one of the top places on our list!!"

Plenty of parking in the shopping center, and the inside is warm and inviting.Beau was my server and was awesome. One of the best servers I have encountered in a while. I was dining alone and he exceeded all expectations. Often when I dine alone, I kind of feel like I am placed as a lower priority with service, or they forget about me. Beau provided the best service and guided through menu and suggestions and recommendations.For food, I went with the Durango Burger, Medium well, and low heat ($16.50). The beef is high quality and the burger is chile spiced, with pepper jack cheese, fried onions, and a roasted garlic ranch dressing. I went with tator tots as the side and they were perfect. Crunchy, delicious, not to greasy, and not overcooked. Took a piece of carrot cake to go (for later) and it was delicious and was nice to have dessert in the hotel.Great location! "One of many chains in the Dayton area that serves quality food ! I'm honestly surprised the restaurant hasn't been reviewed yet ! One of my favorite places to grab catfish in the city of the Dayton ! It is always fresh (I recommend calling ahead) and crispy ! The dinner comes with a healthy serving of fries and two pieces of white bread. Along with packets of hot sauce, tarter sauce, and ketchup. I always get a side of BBQ sauce to dip my fries in and most recently I tried their spicy garlic sauce which was also good ! They have a lot of options and even a drive thru. It has been my favorite for years and I recommend you all to check it out !"

This was a GOOD portion for the price, the lemon curd was perfectly set and it had this wonderful texture from the pistachio kunafa.All in all this is a great spot for a celebration, a date night, or if you're like me a one person dining experience. "Last night two of my friends and I went to Palmer's to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. It wasn't stifling hot outside so we opted to sit outside so that we could enjoy the view of the lane. I definitely recommend sitting outside if it's possible. I had the peach sangria to drink and it was light and refreshing--perfect for a summer evening. We split the calamari for an appetizer and it was good--not huge portions but the peanut sauce was a tasty change from the typical marinara sauce that you get at most places. I had the Caribbean chicken salad as my entree and it was okay. It wasn't served with very much dressing but I was able to get more from our server. I had a taste of my friend's shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend that next time!"

For our entrees we ordered: the steak with Mac & cheese and seasoned fries for my husband (), I had the Alfredo Turkey leg () and that Alfredo sauce had a perfect Parmesan + slighty seasoned fresh taste that was giving well trained chef/"what is a can?" energy. Our friends got the lamb chops with dirty rice (dirty rice is the only thing that could use more flavor) + a Caesar salad. And someone else got the Surf & Turk a seafood stuffed & smothered Turkey leg (). Even our friend that is notorious for complaining could not complain! It was all so good. Salmon, lamb chops and shrimp are abundant on the menu, over a bed of creamy, cajun alfredo penne or fries. Chef Nem is a gem and a gentleman. No doubt this establishment is ground floor, and it's a small store front with two windows; one to take your order and the other to pick up after they call your phone. Wait time is about 15-20 minutes.They are closed Monday and Tuesday, and we went on Wednesday, so they had a revolving door of hungry customers. (They take orders online as well, though I found it difficult to do).Security mans the narrow and bumpy parking lot and opens the door for customers. Patrons driving in make it make sense for everyone to get in and out without issue. We ordered wingdings with garlic parmesan, which were so tender and perfectly doused in sauce. We also had the salmon cajun alfredo penne. So creamy and seasoned just right. The salmon was a little over grilled but forgiving. "My family and I had some issues making our reservation at Moerlein recently, so we had to pivot on the playcall REAL fast. There is nothing worse than dealing with a hangry Stephanie. My mother mentioned Enson Harbor because of Chowdown Cincinnati, and we went in. In true tiktok form, "We're Asian Americans, OF COURSE we'll choose dim sum if that's an option!"Walking into the ghosts of Joe Crab Shack's past was a doozy. The building is spacious, but the seating is set up asymmetrically so there's random pockets of space on the dining floor. There were three servers for the entire restaurant - I am absolutely sure that it is hard to staff in general, and especially at a newer restaurant, but it's hard to enjoy your meal when you have three people running around with their heads cut off.The menu is large, and honestly, a little all over the place (like those servers!). They have the traditional dim sum section, "fried" dim sum (which I mean technically holds true, but I'd just call them apps), noodles and rice, and a random seafood boil section. We ordered a plethora of dumplings, as well as the sautéed pork, cha chiang meon, & fried rice. Everything came out as they were made, which was fine. It's actually something a lot of restaurants do these days and it doesn't bother me. What did bother me was how one dimensional the dumplings were. Between the Szechuan, black truffle, crab meat, etc., none of the dumplings were top tier. They weren't frozen from jungle Jim's variety, but they weren't outstanding either.The rest of our items followed the same suit. Was everything made by hand? Yes. Was everything made with love? No, it was all made with obligation. Combine that with the chaotic marathon the servers were half completing, it wasn't the most enjoyable dining experience.Would I come back here? That's a tough question. I want every local restaurant to succeed to the fullest extent - but there was nothing that screams that I need to be back, especially when there are other dim sum restaurants for me to try in the city. I would let you make your own assumptions if you're in the area, but I make no promises it will be spectacular."
