"The food was good and fresh and the service was quick! The restaurant was neat and tidy too."
"Best pizza we found in Florence! It was so good we went back three days later. The toppings were well balanced and the sauce was very good. Wish there was a Bourbon House Pizza in my home town!"

"There's no reason to get a breakfast sandwich anywhere else in town. A croissant that just came out of the oven? Fresh fluffy eggs? Bacon... I don't even eat cheese but that would have made it even better. But really, though, the pastries....magnifique! When someone says you MUST try the kouign-Amman, don't snooze on that! They are the most delicate, slightly sweet, buttery bit of deliciousness..! But the raspberry danish and chocolate croissant are also amazing. Their chocolate chip cookie is the closest to the holy grail cookie that I've been searching for snd brings back memories of my childhood and local Italian bakery in the Boston area. Love love the food. The ambience is negligible, and the coffee is ok. But you won't be disappointed with the food!"
"THIS PLACE! We had one of be best dinners of our lives last night. I asked on Facebook where I should take Lauren to celebrate her kicking butt in everything and @jamesmkarlson recommended @butcherandbarrel. So we booked a reservation and OMG. They made it such a special experience for Lauren. Jennifer (adore her) started out seating us with a note congratulating her, a little bracelet, and non alcoholic champagne she was ecstatic. Like, come on, how freaking adorable is that! Now the food....we went HAM. *Tuna tartare with fried avocado, hearts of Palms, jalapeño crema, and rice crisps. Lauren ate it all! I had one bite. *truffled deviled eggs. Lauren doesn't even like deviled eggs. These were for me. She said it was one of her favorite things. *Lobster bruschetta. Rich, buttery, and fresh. My favorite appetizer. Then the main drop. Australian A5 Wagyu cooked to mother freaking perfection. I died. Then they surprised us with a dessert trio. * hazelnut fig jam crème brûlée. Crème brûlée is our favorite dessert of all time and this was one of the best ones. I asked him if he got the recipe from Jimmy Gibson before he passed away because it tasted just like Jimmy Gs. And if you're in Cincy, you know what I'm talking about.* tiramisu. We were stuck, but we somehow managed to get this down also. Toffee and chocolate mousse and everything you want it to be.* Cream puff with a lemon sauce and berries. It was the perfect ending to such a phenomenal meal. It was light, but it was good and thank God we walked a mile and a half to from the red stadium because we were beyond full. I recommend! The food was outstanding. I love little tapas plates for the price and selection. I've never really had much Argentinian food, but this was next level. I can't wait to go back."
"Last night two of my friends and I went to Palmer's to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. It wasn't stifling hot outside so we opted to sit outside so that we could enjoy the view of the lane. I definitely recommend sitting outside if it's possible. I had the peach sangria to drink and it was light and refreshing--perfect for a summer evening. We split the calamari for an appetizer and it was good--not huge portions but the peanut sauce was a tasty change from the typical marinara sauce that you get at most places. I had the Caribbean chicken salad as my entree and it was okay. It wasn't served with very much dressing but I was able to get more from our server. I had a taste of my friend's shrimp and grits and it was outstanding. I would definitely recommend that next time!"
"I really like coming here when I'm on a kayaking trip! It's located right on the river and super close to the bike path, so it's very accessible, but keep in mind if you're kayaking that the hill up to the brewery could be challenging for some. Also, it's quite busy sometimes, but rightfully so! They have fantastic pizza, and the sandwiches are really great too. They have a variety of beers too, and the staff are always happy to help you decide. I like how this place has seating all over. There is ample seating inside, outside at the picnic tables, in lounge chairs overlooking the river or on the roof. I'll definitely be returning in the future."
"Great service. Pizza was a little bit pricey, but every bite was well worth. The prices of the old menu pictures are outdated. I will definitely come back for more. The bartender gave me a 5 diamond caliber treatment. Thank you. The restroom super clean. Ambiance was acceptable"
"Solid pizza, easy going vibes, and with late night hours! Personally, I love to snag some of their grab and go items when I'm in a rush for lunch--they have some solid salads that make things nice and easy.I also really enjoyed their chicken parm--which surprised me! It wasn't a huge, saucy, overload-of-cheese vibe, which is what I come to expect. Rather, it was a nicely-fried medium to small-sized cutlet, with a yummy red sauce and a modest amount of cheese. But it was well balanced and good quality, especially for the price. It's become one of my go-to items to order! The service is helpful, but chill, which I personally appreciate when I'm just trying to be in and out."
"100% recommend choosing Smashing Tomato over some of the personal pizza National chain places around here. The pizza is so fresh, the salads are all great, and I love the bread and olive oil/balsamic you get to eat alongside your meal as well! The service is always quick and the food always tastes great. If you haven't tried it, try the Pisto (garlic cream) as your base. You won't be disappointed!"
"We were traveling south back to Knoxville after spending the day at The Ark Encounter. We needed to eat before it got to late. I looked on yelp for pizza & this was number 1. We decided to give it a try. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive to us. We told her we had never been there & she was very helpful telling us about the menu. We ordered a pizza and it was so good just like all the other reviews. The atmosphere was great as well. If we ever are passing back through we will stop in again."
"I've eaten here twice while traveling and absolutely loved it! The food and service were amazing both times! The atmosphere was perfect for a date night or quiet dinner."
"I visited with my spouse for the first time tonight. Everything was great! The atmosphere inside was laid back but still elegant. Nothing pretentious. Just nice, with dark blue tablecloths and good music in the background. We started with cocktails. My spouse had the raspberry mojito and I had a negroni. Both were excellent. We shared a starter of panzanella (toasty seasoned bread cubes with roasted tomatoes & red onion with shaved asiago). Delicious and appetizing. For entrees: my spouse had pasta with chicken (homemade pasta with chunks of flavorful chicken and fresh tomatoes); she said it was great. I had pan roasted redfish over vegetables: the fish was cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior, seasoning correct, tasty sauteed fresh vegetables. Very nice.We finished with the two special desserts: zeppole with mocha gelato (killer!) and warm strawberry crisp with cream (quite good).Service was attentive. Pricing typical (about $100 before tip). We'll be back."

Avocado toast is weird now. I've been ordering the avocado toast for a couple of years now but they keep changing it and now it has a bunch of fruit and veggies on it, even more than the menu states. There isn't even egg on it anymore even though the menu says there is. And it cost me $15! They're trying too hard to make it fancy and it's no longer appetizing breakfast food. Pass.

I've been coming here for about 3 months after finding this hidden gem of a bakery, and it's still amazing. They remodeled the entire store, and it looks so spacious and clean... The staff is amazing, with the best customer service I have had in years. So far I've had about 15 things off their menu, and literally nothing compares to the quality of food here! If you need a recommendation to try it, do it, and you won't be disappointed with anything you buy. By far "the" best bakery in Dayton, and most likely the state of Ohio.

The Provoleta was AMAZEBALLS between that and our salads, we almost had to tap out early. Almost. We managed about half our dinners. R had a burger and I had the ñoquis con estofado. It was fantasmic! I'm honestly shocked they didn't have a line out the door. We definitely recommend popping in when you're downtown. They've got a great bar and private dining areas, too.

We found this restaurant by accident & worried when we saw it was in a mall but it was very nice. We sat outside by the water & it was beautiful. The food was very good and our server was very friendly. The only downside was it took awhile to get our first round of drinks

I've constantly heard mixed reviews on this brewery but I had to try it for myself. Honestly, I'm glad I did, both my lady and I were glad because we enjoyed it. Excellent brews, tasty pizza, a laid back atmosphere, and great service. We actually kayaked up to the place since we rented from nearby Scenic River Canoe Excursions (great place for canoes and kayaks). There's a landing right around back where lots of canoers and kayakers stop in for libations and food. This place really caters to those with active lifestyles. We saw lots of bicycles out front too. It was pretty busy on a Memorial Day Monday but we were still able to find seats and get great service. They have a main building for food and drink as well as a taco truck around back for more food options. Seating is literally EVERYWHERE! We started with a couple beers, a Pinata smoke jalapeño chili beer for my lady and a Misty Mountain Hop hazy IPA for me, and we ordered an 11" Margherita pizza. Our bartender was really chill and took time to talk to us even though the place was super busy. The beers were great, especially the Pinata, which had a nice spicy finish. When our pizza came out, about 20 minutes later, we ordered a couple more brews. My lady got the Bike Path Bohemian pilsner and I got the Curveball Belgian wit. Again, both were great, and went well with the delicious pizza. We were already talking about what we'd get next time before we left so you know we enjoyed it all.Sometimes, you just have to check a place out, and not take too much stake in what other people say about a place. Though I'd recommend giving it a shot for sure. We might drive there next time though, but who knows, right?

I would fist fight a bear for their pizza. Yes really.I got one of their specials, something with bbq and burnt ends, and now I'm a fan. They put their whole heart into this pizza. It was tasty, greasy, and hefty. Overall I felt like a pos after eating it because there's no way something so amazing could be a smidge good for you. It isn't, but I don't mind. This is a hefty fully loaded type of pizza, and I day dream about it. The only reason I haven't been back is because I havnt eaten pizza in the past month or so. I will be back, I vow it.Enough of the dramatics, go try their pizza. It's good but pricey. Worth it.

Vegan pizza alert!I've had my share of good, nay, great pizza in my life (I can perhaps eat pizza every day) and Pizza Donisi is really damn great. I imagine it can only get better as the night goes on (and you've been drinking next door at Mag). This is what you're craving, a vegan pizza deluxe with pepperoni, sausage, peppers, mushrooms and onions. I loved it and I hadn't even been drinking! It's a tiny place, no indoor seating (head next door to get beer or a cheap drink-- they even have booths), but two picnic tables outside if you're nowhere near home or you just can't wait to get home. They have a bunch of vegan options, three sizes and it was served piping hot, cheese all melty which isn't always a thing with vegan pizza.

"The BEST pad Thai you will ever eat. Be mindful of the spice scale. Runs a little hot. Lek is amazing."
"Outstanding pies! Love the crispy crust, and the red sauce is perfect. This will definitely be my go to pizza whenever I'm in the Dayton area!"
"A great little hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop uptown. The food is reasonably priced for the quality and the service is always prompt. Even when I came in close to closing time, the staff was friendly and willing to serve me. A consistently good place to stop after class or with out-of-towners."
"Great local bar with great food. Popped in for a quick drink and their sauerkraut balls. I was so hungry and couldn't wait for them I forgot to take a photo. Friendly staff and owner."
"I wish I could have been here before COVID, but it appears they have made some pretty extensive changes to the place because of COVID. For the most part there is no dine in. They have put up a wall and there are two tables in the area to sit in which are not attached to the regular HVAC system.... cold in winter. That being said, the food was good. I got a tuna bowl and the tuna was fresh. My husband got ramen and really liked it, but there is no dine in experience. Everything is served on disposable plates/containers. I ordered a hot sake and in came in a coffee cup. All drinks are bottles (even water).Typically when I go out to eat, I want the experience and service too.... this is not the place, but would be great for take out."
"Recommended by Kim from the Ashley-Drake Inn. Beautiful building! We got to eat in the vault which was very quaint and private. Enjoyed our calamari appetizer and split a delicious wedge salad. For our main course, we split the pork chop with apple chutney and horseradish mashed potatoes. The pork chop was perfectly done and the horseradish mashed potatoes divine! Excellent and attentive service. We'll be back."
"All things good about this place! Service, excellent, food, superb!, ambiance- nothing lacking here either. Try there Parmesan green beans! Wow! So good!"
"this place is great! i used to live in Mt. Sterling and used to come here all the time. the wood fired pizza has the best crust ever. they have lots of options and i hadn't been here in years so they had lots of new stuff i hadn't seen! they were playing bob ross and the whole place was cute. they don't serve you so cant really rate the service that much. they were nice but not friendly. overall i love it here. we got cheese sticks, the quattro formaggi with olives, a vanilla creme soda and a caesar salad. all was delish! that crust makes everything worth it! and the gorgonzola had that delicious bite on the cheesy pizza with the tangy olive, and to top it off with the refreshing creamy vanilla soda. perfect lunch!"
"Stopped for a late lunch after touring Buffalo Trace distillery. Ordered two pizzas for the four of us. Both were excellent, especially the crust. Service was quick and very friendly. Good option near the distillery."
"I've been going to El Vaquero since the early 2000s in Columbus. Recently moved to Dayton to find out there is one near me! Just as good and feels like home. My favorite sit down Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend. Food it always fast and huge portions. Price is great and the service amazing."
"It's hard to find somewhere that allows for a paleo diet. My mom has one out of health necessity and we decided to try Green District. It was perfect! She could order any combination of ingredients that she wasn't allergic to and everything was made fresh to order. We really appreciated the healthy portion sizes and the fact that the staff made an effort to remember our names!! If you are looking for a place to eat in or carry out, this is the spot. I would keep an eat in party on the small side to about 4, and you can get away with 5 or 6 to a table as long as you can borrow chairs from another table. This was a great choice and I will definitely be back!!"
"Not a full review- but just want to share that I really love their salsa! It's actually fairly spicy, or more so than most Mexican places. I immediately commented about it to my husband and he said the same. The service seems a tad slower than similar places, but all in all pleased."
"**** Review 57 ****Had a lunch meeting here, and the place was very well decorated. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was great. They have delicious lunch specials that are very reasonably priced. The portions are large and very fresh tasting. My lunch special had a steak burrito covered with cheese sauce, and if came with beans, and rice. The chips and salsa are crispy and salsa was delicious. I'll have to come back to try the rest of the menu, maybe even some drinks."
"I wish it was Sunday morning every morning but even when it's not, coming to this place will sure feel like it. Super good food, southern cooking, southern hospitality. This place is worth a drive but if you're close it should be a regular spot for sure. 11/10"
"Super friendly staff and the portions were more than enough!! I had the prime rib(Only served on weekends) and my wife had the meat loaf. Both were 5*. Highly recommend this little gem that's off the beatin path!!"
"Great little spot downtown for a quick, inexpensive lunch. I wasn't feeling too well so I was craving some chicken noodle soup. The Silver Ladle's page was first to pop up when I turned to Yelp for a suggestion. The chicken noodle soup was traditional, hearty and exactly what I needed.A friend of mine ordered the pick 2 lunch with a greek salad and the muffaletta. She was very pleased with this selection. The ingredients looked very fresh, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. I can't wait to go back when I am feeling better so I can go back to try more! They offer a dine in option or you can carry out or get delivery (I'm unsure of the territory, though). You can also order boxed lunches, a buffet style lunch or chili bar to fill your catering needs.Overall a win for lunch!"
"Just moved here from California, had a chance to stop by Crestwood Bistro as it's down the street from my house. It's in a nice intimate setting with a good hometown feel. Ordered the deviled eggs and Cheese steak Panini and it didn't disappoint. The service was excellent and it was affordable, truly a hidden gem in Kentucky."
"I found this little jewel by random. This is the BEST deli place I have ever been to. The selection of sandwiches is huge. I had a ham salad sandwich on an onion roll that was so fresh and soft. The ham salad was fresh and flavor was on point. Very friendly staff and prices are beyond fair. The outside and even the inside is a little dated, but they have been there over 50 years. Don't the let the appearance of the building hold you back!!!"
"We picked up a quick lunch at the Mason location. Compared to the other locations we have visited, we felt this one was cleaner and the food fresher. We enjoyed our tofu and Korean beef bbq bowls. The complementary miso soup was watered down and had no flavor, but I guess you get what you pay for. A decent lunch. $22.45, for our bowls only, no drinks or other items."
"La Cazuela is pretty good. For this to be Tex Mex and a fast sit down concept, the food is decent. My husband loves Mexican and this is not far from our house so it's a win win! The staff is always really nice and the customer service is good and fast. Like many Mexican restaurants, they usually bring chips and salsa to the table. Here is no different, but what is different is they also bring cheese dip with refined beans on the bottom. It's very good. I love this about them. You don't get that anywhere else. You always have to ask for cheese dip, but not here. We came here twice and tried a few different dishes. We have ordered Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Combination Meal (1 taco and 1 enchilada), Kid's Quesadilla Meal and Kid's Grilled Cheese. For the most part, their food has flavor and they give you a nice size portion per plate. I would say my least favorite meal was probably the quesadilla. Mainly because they way they have it set up. They just bring out the tortilla filled with chicken and cheese and you have to put or "build" everything else on (I.e. pico, sour cream, lettuce, salsa). Other than this I don't have many complaints about their food. Overall, for the concept and type of food La Cazuela is, it's pretty good! They are also quick. We order and within 10-15 min our main dishes are always at the table."
"Coming from someone that works at a pizza place I was reluctant to try this place, but my buddy wanted me to go. I'm glad I did... one of the best places I could have stopped at. The pizza had the freshest toppings in the area, and there was a generous amount of sauce. The wings were as large as my hand and cooked to perfection. Any time I'm in the area I will be returning here.... It's my new favorite"
"First time trying Gracious Plenty was for lunch on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend - this place was busy! The food exceeded my expectations - I had the turkey wrap on a tomato tortilla. The turkey and the cream cheese spread were very good, but the tortilla itself was super flavorful - usually spinach or tomato tortillas are just green or red yet flavorless, but this one actually tasted tomato-y. I had fruit salad on the side, which really should just be called a fruit cup because it was just cut up fruit, no dressing or seasoning. Husband had the pear & blue cheese salad with shrimp added. He really enjoyed it, but the dressing was the low point - it's a vinaigrette that separates really easily, so it was hard to combine the layers in the little condiment cup it came in, which is important if you're a dressing dipper instead of a dressing pourer.I'm not sure if this is a Covid thing or an "everyone is short staffed" thing, but my wrap and other sandwiches were served on regular ol' paper plates like you'd buy for your family at Target. Husband's salad came in a clear to-go container with a large paper plate for him to move it to, which seemed a little odd as well.Despite a little bit of weirdness with the presentation, the food was really solid and VERY affordable. We would definitely return for a super casual lunch."
"Got it on DoorDash but it was so good, had to leave a review! The food was amazing! I got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Everything was packaged well, the staff is awesome! Definitely recommend"
