"IT'S LONG BUT READ IT!!!!!Long time coming...been a regular at 1.0 (original brewery) then regulars at 2.0 (existing brewery) had the first beers served. Seen quite a few changes over the years. (The brewery scene is not what it was). Seen staff come n go. We went through a lean time where the food just wasn't worth going as often. BUT NOW the food is awesome n we're back w a vengeance!!! Have a great time w the bartenders as we always have. For us it's nice to be back home!!!Thanks Kenny n Brady for fixing things! Do yourself a favor and visit! There's something for everyone! CHEERS! "Food was great, had a brick oven pizza. Great service, cute garage door patio. Adding words to end review."
"Valentines Day dinner... they offered a selected menu. We both had arugula salads & beef short ribs. Food was delicious, service was amazing & the vibe was vibing! We will be back"
"This is a dining hot spot! I mean, it was Tuesday night at about 6:30 and this place was hopping! Valerie, Libby, and I walked over to explore this place, and we were all pleasantly surprised. It's trendy, upscale, and has an energetic, boisterous ambiance. The dining room seating was on a wait, so we opted for the patio. Our server came right over and was very pleasant and helpful with our questions. Our drinks were tasty and had a good pour. I ordered a Mai Tai / Rum Runner but got something more like a Margarita. Wasn't what I expected, but it was quite good. (I ordered a second drink, just so you know). I decided to go with the "Mr White," which is a delicious white pizza with a nice wood fired oven crust. There was a decent amount of cheese, a pleasing combination of flavors, and a noticeable nutty taste. I also tried Libby's Eggplant and Valerie's Spinach Artichoke pizza, and both were pretty tasty.Good food, good service, and good conversation with long-time friends... What an enjoyable evening! Wheat Penny Oven And Bar is definitely worth checking out for an upscale dining experience."
"MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE. Pizza is always hot and good. Service is always lovely and the ambiance is very family oriented. MUST TRY"
"We received a $10 off meal coupon as a gift and decided to check this place out. We are so glad that we did. First let me share that everything is homemade at this establishment and that makes it extra special for me. Knowing that they take that extra step means a lot. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As a teacher it's his second job to help support his family, I appreciated how he made us feel welcomed and how he provided us with insight about the restaurant and their food. Clean, busy and friendly is how I would sum it up. Good food and drinks. We will return too!"
"This is a nice local family restaurant and brewery located on the outskirts of downtown Columbus. Please do not ask me to pronounce the name though. They have their own private parking lot in the back and free street parking available in the front. There is also a decent sized dining area with televisions on the walls and a nice patio out to the side of the restaurant. You will find a tasting room to the right as you come in the front door, with booths and a bar. They periodically host tastings and special events here. The staff there is so friendly and helpful. They periodically checked in on us while we were there and one even came to our table and told the kids a dad joke. They do not have table service here so if you plan on dining in like I did then you have to place your order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you when it is ready. I ordered a lasagna pizza and some breadsticks for the littles. I also got one of their craft sodas and I am glad that I did. It was so good. I will say that this place is a bit on the higher end, but you pay for quality. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for me to get my food and it was delicious. I was expecting the pizza to taste more like lasagna, maybe with some ricotta, but it was still good. The breadsticks were fresh and perfect. This is a nice place to eat some "Za" , they also have salads, calzones, and hoagies. They also have a nice selection of craft beer and wine. A 4.5 rating would be more appropriate, but since that is not an option, I decided to go with a 5 because that it what I feel this restaurant is closer to. I highly recommend checking this place out. It is a good family restaurant with some very tasty food."
"I love that they five pizza dough for kids to play with while we wait for food. They also have vegan choices for pizza. The place is a little pricey but worth it."
"Hands-down, the best pizza in the Greenwood area! This photo says it all! My grandson was so excited when this huge pizza was brought to the table. Service is always fast and friendly, the pizza is amazing, made in a wood burning stove in the front!"
"Best pizza we found in Florence! It was so good we went back three days later. The toppings were well balanced and the sauce was very good. Wish there was a Bourbon House Pizza in my home town!"
"I look forward to Adriatico's each time I visit Cincinnati. Terrific, clean, well stocked bar with friendly staff and patrons. Great bar to hang and watch games. I love the thin crusted pizzas. This time had the Spicy Italian pizza, a shot of 1800 Reposado, and a cold draft PBR. Recommend!"

Love this place! Great brewery that also offers some booze options too. Better than average bar food, including a fantastic wide fired pizza and our salad was good as well. Good service and nice decor both indoor and out! Their beer garden is dog friendly as well.

Very good food. The restaurant has a limited menu due to the small size of the kitchen. The restaurant is small and the tables are close together. Service was very good. Their specialty is wood fired pizza at 900 degrees. The alternative is one of several Northern Italy meals. My son and I each had the Veal Scaloppini with lemon. It was very good and came with roasted broccolini. My wife ordered the Swordfish. It was a smaller piece and an interesting accompaniment that I can't describe except that it had small round objects. I would have liked a pasta dish with the main entrée. My wife and I shared a pasta dish with some beef and veal. It was OK at best. My son ordered a pasta dish that he liked. I have pictures of all. Starting off our meal we had veal/beef meatballs in a nice sauce and a basket of bread. Unusual to have to buy bread and it was hard and filling. The Caesar salad was large and very good. For dessert the tiramisu was unusual and served in a cup. It had too much cream. We also order the biscotti crushed cookies with white chocolate and ice cream It was pretty good. They have cocktail options. I ordered a glass of wine. It was a short pour in a giant glass. Definitely disappointing. Wine bottles are 3x cost in a store which is a little steep.

Opted for a light meal at Wheat Penny today, and it certainly lived up to expectations. We began with the Eggplant Fries, which were delightfully light and crispy. Between the marinara and yogurt sauces, the marinara stood out as the superior choice with its robust and rich taste, though my wife liked to mix them. I'd recommend sticking with the marinara for its hearty flavorThe cocktails were perfect for an afternoon sip. The smoked Old Fashioned, dubbed Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em, was a hit. With Buffalo Trace as the base, the bartender achieved a fantastic balanceFor the main course, I chose the combination mix of pizza and salad, while my wife went for pizza and soup. The Mr. White pizza was wonderfully simple yet satisfying. The arugula salad paired with cauliflower slices was a hit. My wife's Italian sausage with braised mushrooms pizza was also impressive, but the standout was definitely the soup. The White Bean and Kale soup was exceptionally tasty, a must-have for our next visitThe experience was rounded off with reasonable prices, outstanding customer service, a welcoming staff, and a great vibe. Looking forward to returning and trying the sea bass for dinner in the near future!

Better than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's.I've always played it safe with Papa John's or Domino's, but Old School NY Pizza has them beat. Best pizza I have ever had. Just heard of them this year and have had them 7 times or so since then. Have tried a different pizza types every time I've gone and they're consistently amazing.

Been here twice and I love that they have a place for kids to play! Makes it a lot easier for parents. The pizzas are so good, especially the bacon and apple and the Brussels sprouts. Trivia night is also super fun to attend. Cucumber salad was so so.

"Stopped here for early dinner while passing through town. We all had pasta of various types and salads. All the food was delicious. Of course, the star of the meal was the breadstick! Service was fast and attentive and the ambiance was lively. Would return to try the great looking pizza."
"I really like coming here when I'm on a kayaking trip! It's located right on the river and super close to the bike path, so it's very accessible, but keep in mind if you're kayaking that the hill up to the brewery could be challenging for some. Also, it's quite busy sometimes, but rightfully so! They have fantastic pizza, and the sandwiches are really great too. They have a variety of beers too, and the staff are always happy to help you decide. I like how this place has seating all over. There is ample seating inside, outside at the picnic tables, in lounge chairs overlooking the river or on the roof. I'll definitely be returning in the future."
"This place is an all around GEM.The food is absolutely incredible. Don't let the strip mall in the middle of nowhere fool you. I've been here 5-6 times now and it's been great every time. I've spoken to the owners and the staff about food and travel. They are all super nice and hold a great convo. They are very passionate about the food here. From the perfect calzone crust to the amazing sauce on the pies. It's nice and clean inside with amazing smells of food all around. It's just a good vibe in general. Stare into the brick oven. It's relaxing lol. Pricing is very fair for the quality. This isn't a cheap thick slice pizza place. You need to go."
"The food I received was great. One of the very best gluten-free pizza that I have had anywhere. Additionally, delivery to the hospital was very convenient. Great food and service."
"Great service. Pizza was a little bit pricey, but every bite was well worth. The prices of the old menu pictures are outdated. I will definitely come back for more. The bartender gave me a 5 diamond caliber treatment. Thank you. The restroom super clean. Ambiance was acceptable"
"My wife and I had dinner today at this location. Our waitress, Riley was the nicest person to wait on us in a long time. We did have a mix up on the order, but the manager made it right and gave us a nice discount. The food was very good. I had a large pizza with mushrooms and half pepperoni's. My wife had a cauliflower pizza with mushrooms and olives. We also had a Caesars salad (Croutons were a little hard). Thanks Pies & Pints for a wonderful dining experience. Hope to see you again soon and I hope Riley and the manager are still there.PS - Dining here can be a little on the expensive side"
"Always great fresh food whether eating in or taking home. And service is always quick and friendly!"
"We visited Galvin's tonight. The bone-in wings and buffalo chicken dip were both great choices. Our waiter David was attentive and fun. The atmosphere is nice."
"Great atmosphere and great pizza. A wonderful neighborhood pub. Highly recommended for dine in or take out."
"Food is delicious. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxed."
"Love the food! Wonderful staff! A nice ambiance! And easy access to park and walk in and be seated all in a short amount of time!"
"I didn't know this place existed and I am so glad we tried it. Authentic Italian dishes and drinks that will please everyone. Started with lasagna bites and then eggplant Parmesan which is huge. Leftovers for sure. Others ordered vodka rigatoni shrimp scampi and chicken Parmesan. The atmosphere is open and lively and the bar is adorable It's a fantastic experience"
"Delicious pizza place offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The waitstaff proved knowledgeable about the many types of pizza offered here. The pizza arrived at our table hot and tasty . A good beer selection is also available Restrooms are so so. Parking is available in front and along the side street. The ambience is very open."
"The pizza here is top tier for Louisville. I also had the wings which were good and a salad which was excellent. Staff was friendly and service was efficient."
"I think have found our new favorite pizza place! Came tonight for the first time and it definitely won't be the last. We started with the Pizza Bones with cheese and followed them with the Vinnie and the Baber Beer Cheese. Everything was amazing! Next time we will be skipping the yummy breadsticks because we ended up being too full to truly enjoy our pizzas."
"Solid brewery has a family and causal vibe. Had a good selection of beers to offer. They had their good ones and not so good. But that is open to debate based on taste we did a flight of all 8 beers available. The food was spot on for us, we had 3 different pizza's (salmon, meat lovers and bbq), smoked wings and chips and salsa. Was a nice stop on an overnight trip for us! Lastly, the staff were nice, friendly and accommodating!"
"So I was in the east end for work and just really wanted a grilled cheese and soup. I looked up to see what was around me and this place popped up. After looking at the menu I decided to try it. Although the grilled cheese is a mix of cheeses (including goat cheese) but I figured it would be ok...I mean who doesn't like goat cheese. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The atmosphere was nice...it's has a bar and it's pretty spacious. The food....well it wasn't bad. It was just blah....the soup was very bland and although it sounded good...goat cheese grilled cheese is not a good idea. But I was so hungry I ate it. I would them again but later in the day...like I said it wasn't bad but it wasn't that meal that I was looking for....they were being fancy and what I needed was plain jane"
"Best Pizza we have had since moving to the area. We are pizza snobs and appreciate the real deal. Quality cheese good sauce.Independent business is also a plus for me. I totally recommend this pizzeria."
"A perfect little pizza parlor in Cincinnati with charming looks and a cozy atmosphere. The pizza and breadsticks were phenomenal. Hand tossed and hand rolled to perfection. The cheese and pepperoni were high quality. Even the bacon and ham on the Hawaiian was appreciated. The service was a little slow but I can't complain when they had a moderate crowd with tons of takeout orders going out the front. The calzones also looked great at our neighbor table. This is a picture perfect pizza parlor I can happily visit again when in town."
"Great customer service. Was close to closing time but still treated welcome. The food was great and served quickly. Had pizza and salad."
"Solid pizza, easy going vibes, and with late night hours! Personally, I love to snag some of their grab and go items when I'm in a rush for lunch--they have some solid salads that make things nice and easy.I also really enjoyed their chicken parm--which surprised me! It wasn't a huge, saucy, overload-of-cheese vibe, which is what I come to expect. Rather, it was a nicely-fried medium to small-sized cutlet, with a yummy red sauce and a modest amount of cheese. But it was well balanced and good quality, especially for the price. It's become one of my go-to items to order! The service is helpful, but chill, which I personally appreciate when I'm just trying to be in and out."
"Two days after the New Year we celebrated a birthday luncheon in Franklin. My sister, the birthday girl, had selected this bar and grill in downtown Franklin. I understand that the building had been an old hotel and is host to a certain "ghost". Our table of six were expertly served by a friendly and very efficient server. He was friendly and funny but serious when recommending menu items. First, I can not believe that the quality of food costs so little. They are known for their chicken wings and pizza. I selected the in bone wings with sweet chili sauce and wow were they amazing, I will go back for pizza because my mouth watered with the pie that was delivered to a table near us. Their wings are well above average in the size normally served. The burgers and taco salads ordered by members of our party were so large and enjoyed ."
"I'm getting to the point that I'm pretty much treating Yelp like Instagram and rarely take the time to write a review. That said, I really feel the need to praise the pizza at Joe's. A couple years ago, in 2015, my sister, brother-in-law and I visited Dayton for the first time in years. My BIL was born and raised in east Dayton, and we lived in Beavercreek through Jr High and High School before moving away. We all had been craving Dayton-style pizza, so the weekend between Christmas and New Years we drove up from NC for a weekend of sight seeing things like Rikes window displays, Carillon Park, Clifton Mill lights and of course, PIZZA. Our long-time favorite has always been Marions, and we also love Flying Pizza's Sicilian, which yes, isn't "Dayton-Style", but it's the taste of our youth. It's funny, but if you ask anyone from Dayon "Hey, what's the best pizza you've ever tasted in Dayton" and they'll all say "Cassano's". And if you ask "What's the worst pizza you've ever tasted in Dayton?" they'll say "Cassano's". So, due to their inconsistency and due to their move from provolone cheese to Provel (We aren't in St. Louis, Cassano's!) we dropped them from our list. We were wrapping up enjoying a couple cigars at "The Wharf" when we ran into a local buddy. David thought it was funny that we were craving Dayton-style pizza so badly that we made a pizza pilgrimage, and when we listed off the places we were hitting he said "So of course you are going to Joe's. Right?" Joe's? Never heard of it. It was less than a half hour later that we were sitting at Joe's with our buddy. And to get to the important part that you came here for, we ordered a large pepperoni and we were BLOWN AWAY! The crust was unbelievably thin, crisp yet chewy. Firm enough to hold the sauce and toppings without problem. We all agreed that they used a little more sauce than we were used to, but it was good and we all liked the moisture and taste acidity that it added. The cheese was just perfect. Not too much, not too little. But the star of the show was the pepperoni itself. As it cooks in their classic stone hearth oven, the pepperoni curls-up and crips-up like Bacon! It was phenomenal! As we wrapped-up our week we had several other local pizzas, but we all agreed that of all the places we tried, Joe's takes the prize as best pizza in Dayton. Fast forward to Oct 2023 my sister and I found ourselves back in Dayton for an even at the Shopsmith power tool factory, and just as before we took advantage of the event to relive our pizza pilgrimage of 2015. We had Sicilian at Flying Pizza, we had Marion's, and then we went to Joe's. Once again, they nailed it! And the price was undeceivable reasonable. I know this will sate this review, but we got a large pepperoni pizza and two 20oz pops for $20. Joe, you need to raise your prices by 50 cents and make sure your staff is properly appreciated and that you are profitable. Speaking of the staff and the restaurant itself; The staff are friendly, clean and tidy and hard-working and the interior of the dining area is a bit old and dated, but it is clean and well kept. Early in the pandemic my bride and I took a trip to Dayton for a funeral, and we shared a Joe's pepperoni in the car. She wasn't as impressed as we were during either of our dine-in experiences, but I still enjoyed it and was happy that they were doing their best to produce great food."
